Deck lists can be found on Hearthpwn.com under the user name CGDPodcast.

Not that the guide isn't useful. it is hard for a new player to follow because in the beginning you are talking about what you have and how good or bad it is, but we don't know how to identify what we have as good or bad. Tips to help us identify what is good or bad would be extremely helpful.
Alex Toth bad cards=bad, good cards=good
I agree. Not exactly what I was looking for but it seems he puts a lot effort into the video which is nice
Good point. There are actually third party websites where you can find that.
If you go on "hearthstonetopdecks.com", click on "cards", "filter" - "user rating". You will get a complete list of cards rated from the best to the worst. You can also filter your cards by class, format, set, etc., if you´re building a specific deck. For example the highest rated common card from the classic set is Sorcerer´s Apprentice, which has a rating of 4.7/5, voted by 137 players.
Another usefull website is "hsreplay.net". This website can show you not only cards, but even complete decks, which you can filter based on their price or winrate. If you go to downloads and download the decktracker addon, it will connect to your hearthstone collection and take into account cards you already have. So if you filter popular decks from the cheapest and there is a deck where you´re missing only a one common card, it will show that it costs only 40 dust to build and put it first on your list.
I started play this week and was searching for some guide... by far, this is the best guide I've seen! Thanks a lot!!!! I didn't even know what dust do XD haha!!!
The C'Thun deck is one I've faced quite a few times today and it looks quite cool. Unfortunately I have none of the cards lol. All of your tips and suggestions have helped tons! Just got back into the game after a while and after losing a whole bunch I adopted some techniques and your suggestions of cards to make were great. Thanks man.
This was so informative! I've been playing the game for about 7hrs or so and deck building I still find difficult~ Thanks!
Man, i've playing for some months already and this was the best guide to crafting and disenchanting cards I had, it really helps get rid of things I don't want, thanks for your great job!
You often use terms that many beginners would not understand. For example “tribal deck”.
Freaking awesome video :) this is a blessing for the new players. I wish i had seen this video when i started years ago :P
65+95=90
*Blizzard math intensified*
I didn't stop mid-filming to redo the math on that, but I thought something was fishy as I was tallying the dust amount... Glad I'm not going crazy!

"always always dust as soon as you can unless you expect there would be a nerf of some kind or some other change coming up... I would not expect to see one any time soon"... (5:00)
I think we can call this a failed prediction since there was an additional nerf less than 4 months after this video.
I would recommend on the contrary to never use that mass disenchant button.
Thanks for this video dude, I am new to the game and Its really helping a lot
Rock on, man!
begginers guide. but you choose cards like an expert :) .. for me everything seems to complicated since I dont know all the decks.
So for people, like myself, who have never crafted, go to 23:54 where he types in the name of the card you want, hits "craft," then spends the dust to make the faded card into a solid, usable card.
I'm sorry but this doesn't explain which cards to keep and throw away and why. Maybe it's just me but for someone who has never played a card game before I really don't understand how to learn this

The issue I run into is that while your video would be awesome for someone new like me, YOU know what's worth disenchanting and what's worth keeping. I don't :(
Don't forget to craft Trap cards, very very useful.
Great content man!
Hopefully you can make some other videos in the future :)
And here I was making oil rogue as my first deck
NEVER disenchant cards as a beginner, unless you have extra... Trust me you’ll regret it. Never disenchant classic deck cards either because they’re constantly going to be in rotation. Just earn your daily gold, and you’ll get free packs from time to time.. Just have patience you will get the cards you want eventually
RottenAppleNY = )
I’m late to the party but Holy hell this is great info. You’ve made my week :-)
New player here. Do you have a video explaining what are good cards and which are just taking up space? I opened about 19 packs by now, but since I have not enough rares/epics, I don't really want to get rid of cards I might need later on

What, you are suggesting new players to disenchant the cards for the classes they aren't going to play? That's a horrible advice. As new players, they have no idea what cards are bad enough to disenchant, what classes they want to play, what classes are viable and what classes they have cards for. Here's a better advice: don't disenchant any cards without asking more experienced players first. Way too often do I heard about mistakes people made when they were young, one person disenchanted Ysera because she had way too low attack for the mana cost.
Your card suggestions for specific archetypes are also pretty much off.
Bilefin Tidehunter is just not that good, Defender of Argus is much more of a midrange card, Knife Juggler is honestly pretty bad after the nerf. At first I thought you were talking about Argent Horserider, but then I realized you were actually talking about Argent Squire. A great card, but more of a midrange card imo.
For control, I'd just say stay away from those as a new player. Even the budget versions cost thousands of dust.
Refreshment Vendor is more of a control card. Cult Master is just weak and usually dies immediately, getting you no value and a tempo loss. Dark Iron Dwarf is maybe more of an aggro card, but can be used in midrange.
Miracle: I'm confused. Why do you even bring up such a small, specific, niche archetype?
The decks you made look pretty good, just a few things:
Druid is fine.
Even for Hunter, 11 three mana cards is a lot. I'd take out at least Earthen Ring Farseer and Acolyte of Pain since you have no cards to trigger it. Then I'd either add more traps or remove the Eaglehorn Bow, it just doesn't make sense with only 1 secret. Instead I'd include another Multishot and add Explosive Trap in the crafting priorities list.
For Warrior, Bloodhoof Brave and Cruel Taskmaster are must haves. The deck itself looks otherwise fine.
Blue Banana How long have you been playing Hearthstone
About two years.
You seem experienced, how do you recommend I should spend my 1300 gold as F2P?
A severely under-rated video. This content is on par with Trump's and Kripp's. This information on how to start, without dumping money into the game, is something which should be very valuable to many people, including myself. Excuse me whilst I take this advice to adjust my collection -- thank you very much.
Thanks! That's a wonderful thing to hear from a fellow player :)
wow im not a new player but my deckbuilding has changed ( in a good way )!!
The Intro is 17 seconds too long
KydroxHD thanks for the lols
KydroxHD I enjoyed it.
Krahu Same ;)
Go to google and find out what is the current meta. Choose something that is performing well and is easy to play based on what you see on google. Spend 60$ on cards. Smash through the ranks with VERY minimal knowledge of the game. I've never played a card game before but my brothers love hearthstone. I refused to get it for years because it didnt seem like it would suit me. Downloaded it about a week ago. I unlocked all of the base class cards and opened about 10-15 packs throughout the week. My brothers guided me on building decks with the limited cards that I had. I continuously lost and was stuck at rank 25ish. My brothers told me to stick with it, its just practice, this game IS NOT pay to win. I believed them for 7 days. On the 8th day I spent money and built a murloc paladin deck. I still have no idea what im doing but im now rank 10 and havent slowed at all in gaining rank. With no game knowledge and a very small understanding of my own deck, ill continue to climb.
TLDR = this game is pay 2 win. You pay and get a huge advantage. You can build economy decks but you will always be at a competitive disadvantage. If you are looking to climb rank, you have to spend money. My advice to new players = spend money.
youre an idiot
you deserve more subs, your content is great!
love the vid man. keep it up
i started yesterday and i play a c'thun deck i dont have all the cards ofc i had to be creative with some stuffs but it kinda worked
Hi i like the video, i have just started playing, please do new version of this video for new players with the un goro deck.
would it be possible for you to list your top 5 cards somewhere? It would make it easier to follow when building a deck.
It depends on what deck and class you want to play mate :)
Please make a new one for Descent of Dragons, even though this is very helpful, it is outdated and doesn't carry the same card trends. Thanks!!
Thnx you so mutch love your vids and you have earned a sub
I actually kind of want to get into Hearthstone. Is there an easy way to farm gold for packs?
not really
Other than completing quests and playing lots of games to earn that 10 gold per 3 wins? No.
if you get good in the game and can get atleast 3 wins in arena you should go for that since then you get more than if you would just buy a pack! and if you get really good you can get 7 wins or more where you get your 150 gold back+ a pack and more stuff! so arena would be the fastest way to make gold
Just started playing the game any tips
are you going to be posting any new content, friend? this video is awesome
Awesome video you have earned a sub
Please make more videos!!
Why are there no guides like this produced by blizzard? Do they expect new players to just search the internet for solutions?
Thank you = )
Disenchant button horrifies me.
just one video on the channel
10:43 also known as free dust LoooooooLlll
Azure Drake cannot be crafting right now :( what do I do, where do I go to cry?
I love all the comments where people say they disenchanted legendary cards cause they didn't know better...like...c'mon...you have to be really naive to disenchant a LEGENDARY card. If you lack the common sense to keep that card, you wouldn't have made it very far anyway.
Peyton Stallings agreed
there are a few pretty meh legendaries tho
Peyton Stallings that's tough
Just made a new account and got gold Lord Jaraxxus!
Is this still doable in MSG expansion?
You get Azure Drakes in the Mage Starterdeck, dont you? You can't disenchante them though.
AlphaWolvesGamer no?
1080p?
More please
Me: Brain! Remember this!
Brain: Hmmm, what?
how is this druid starting deck now?
so i just started and i cant search for "owned" shows no results even though i've opened a few packs, also reached lvl 10 with mage. i cant mass disenchant either. i dunno whatsup
mass disenchant only works if you have more than two of one card. did you only type "owned" in the search bar? try "owned:1-2"
How do you log in on Mobile because it always says this email is taken but It never says log in!!
Ive been trying to find the azure drake card but i look for it using the filters, and non filtered, i havent been able to find it
Makirum Is Here It's on wild now
I’m a bit late but thanks 😂😀
should i use ragnaros or bog creeper on My mage deck
since ragnaros is wild, you'll have to go with bog creeper, nuless you play wild.
ragnaros is one of the best cards from the whole game, so it's obvious you go with him instead of any other 8 drop practically, as Blizzard also mentioned.
hey, how can I can't find azure drake ?
I had to look it up and apparently they removed the card because it was too overpowering.
JunaZard Abd It is on wild
how did you even get so many cards to disenchant? i just started playing and i would barely get to 100 dust if i would disenchant all
He opened a shitton of packs because you got 13 free packs for logging in during the Old Gods event. There's nothing like that currently. I'm a little pissed that blizzard gave new players at that point such a huge leg up, and nothing for new players now.
It is a hard grind... Every deck feels the same. Playing about 2 weeks now and the best I got is one (bad) epic. My friends even tell me not to use most rares I get. So opening packs is becoming the most frustrating part of the game while I feel like it should be one of the most rewarding.
Actually it takes a few months to have a decent card collection so you can actually have around 70-80% win rate on a deck, if you learn how to play it well. If you have more experienced friend it is really good for you, because he will tell you what is good and what is bad. When it comes to getting decks/cards hearthstone becomes a hard game. The best way to get arcane dust fast is opening packs and playing arena, but you are supposed to know how to build decks, know the cards and know to how to play the game to get good prizes. That's how it looks like when you don't want to pump money into Blizzard's pocket. If you don't want to give them your money, they will take your time instead :/
I got a lo of cards on all class
480p...
480p???
unusal but different
480p only? can barely read text
He sounds like Phreak
I need help I don't know any server play? EU or America
sorry for my English
pls help me
This is a good video, but try to up the quality.
4:20 bro you retired it immediately you can't be telling me that you really think that new players don't get any wins in arena, I got six wins first arena
HD please :D
this seems like a cute game for a luck based mechanics..
shit i haven't even gotten all the classes yet i am so fucked
guys you cant dissenchant that much!! thats not worth it!!keep your cards
I didnt excpect to put any money on this game to buy cards in this tutorial
This isn't any guide, from the beggining most of the cards picked are not available. This is useless.
25:38 Helpful starting cards to make
Omg i don't have any of the cards u've disenchanted.. LOL Even tho I have a lot of cards.. golden ones and stuff WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH MY LIFE I can't create good decks I don't have good cards ! and I don't have the half of the wards u used on every deck ok FML I stop this game.
I would disenchant all the gokden cards. Golden is useless, and you can craft cards of the same rarity with the dust. You could even craft the same card but not golden
Nitch
it woorks fоr me
Аfter wаsting a lоt of timе i finallу found out a working HеarthStone Chеаts .It’s Wоrking, verу eаsy use. > Let s Start а New Аccоunt Beginneeer s Guidе tо Crafting Deсkbuilding Hеarthstone
dont disentchant commons and most of the rares!!
Have you give up making content?
This guys is talking about nothing most of the time, he just read all the names of cards :D
WHAT THE FUCK IS DUST????
"Beginners Guide". What a clown.
