- I'm having weight loss surgery in one month and I am hoping to share my story with others who may be going through the process or considering this path.

Hi Nicole! I too made the decision to do the RNY, I turn 30 in May and will be doing this with you! I just met with the surgeon so I still have a long way to go in the approval process but I'm looking forward to see how you do a little ahead of me.
The months will go by in the blink of an eye and your surgery will be here before you know it. I'm excited to be able to go on this journey with you!!!

Congrats on your decision to change your life. I too am on this journey with you. I had my initial consultation on October 5, 2022 and had my gastric bypass December 28, 2022 which puts me at 12 days post op. God has blessed me to have no complications or issues so far. I am a new subscriber and looking forward to following your success.😊

People who say its the easy way out havent a clue. Let them try one day in our shoes. Congratulations on your weight loss! How are you doing now? I had RNY in 2009 lost 220 gained back a lot... had a revision 6 weeks ago. 😊

I also watched a lot of TH-cam videos. Bariatric surgeon's, people who have had the surgery. My surgery isn't scheduled yet, but it will be soon.
I think it's really important to get the facts from the professionals but also see how real people deal with the prep and the surgery and then the post op. I wish you so much luck!
