It is a great one off product for revealing an effortless golf swing technique minus the normal expense. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my friend Sam at last got astronomical results with it.
I've always been good at skipping rocks and this tip about acting like you're throwing the gulf ball has been the best tip for my swing I've heard in a LONG time! Amazing tip!!!
Always nice to hear Adam’s simple, positive lessons. I think we all get a bit exhausted with the, “you have to…” or “if you don’t…” types of golf tips. The last thing I want when trying a new drill is to feel pressure or stress before I ever get to the range. Well done, as always.

In the process, you've also simplified complications in "takeaway" and "backswing" by encapsulating them into one thought for initiating the swing - "Make Your Pivot". And you've demonstrated how to pivot and how to practice pivoting. Very helpful, thank you.
Yet another top notch lesson, great tip and really interesting advise on "Think shaft!" I shall give that a try, always tend to focus on club face, thanks Adam👍
Hitting at the ball is definitely my major struggle. I finally broke down and purchased a set of alignment sticks and plan on incorporating this drill into my practice sessions. I can't thank you enough for this content.

You make it incredibly easy to understand and apply your teaching methods. I've just found my only source of golf tips and training channel. Thank you sir.
Great swing thoughts….I started to use one of those super soft thick and cushy kitchen mats to feel downward pressure on my feet as I simulate a swing…wow…you can really sense / feel through the feet how much the pressure changes from backswing to transition to the left side…the immediate feedback of downward pressure is very revealing…thought I’d share that tip I stumbled upon while doing dishes. Love your teaching.
This is one of the very best golf videos I have ever seen. The hand at the top as if skipping a rock is brilliant! Can't wait to try this out on the range.
You make it sound so easy. I have previously struggled with lunging at the ball coupled with a reverse pivot. I think this was my way to try and hit down on the ball without any proper training. Now that I have been focusing on proper wait transfer (not perfect) in backswing - I’m chunking it like no tomorrow. Occasionally I get the right tempo and it becomes effortless. I’ll try these next time. Thanks!
Great vids! I get fortnightly lessons and watch your vids between time because you examine things straight forward and clearly. I like the no bs approach
Wow! Out of all the videos I have watched this is simply the simplest, easiest, and thorough basic tutorial series I have ever seen! Very incredible and makes it so new players like me can "get it" so much quicker then without this aid. This is a great start to what I hope is a lifelong recreational activity and just from starting with a group a friends, a Saturday afternoon, a small and inexpensive course with a set of hand-me-down clubs that were from the late 70's. Thank you so much!
Here's another outstanding lesson, maybe I should use the word show; because all what has been said is showed right away and very clear. This one also goes to my facebook wall. Thanks a lot.
thank you so much for the tips. I always have hard time hitting the ball, because my coach always tells me the moves ,but lack in thoughts. After watching your vids, I understand the reasons behind the moves.
Sometimes in this life you meet up with someone who just wants to help people to be the best that they can be you strike me as being that kind of person I have watched your swing in slow motion and see that you practice what you preach I only hope that others might benefit as much as I have from your genius way of teaching
I recently starting looseing my grip so as to feel the clubhead and at the top of the backswing, I try to feel like I'm throwing the clubhead at the ball (underhanded.) What you describe in the first part of your video really helps me confirm this is correct. One of my major flaws was gripping to tightly and therefore couldn't feel the clubhead. Thank you.
Adam, thanks for your prompt reply. Your advice makes sense. I have to add I played a round this afternoon on the Pali golf course with an old friend, the first since discovering your wonderful instructions. Hit the driver, fairway woods, and hybrids in a much more relaxed manner, with much more consistency and length. Your term "playfully" to me is a super key. Thanks, you are the best! Guess I better look at your putting video!
I've been STRUGGLING with my weight shift. But in this video you explained it so simply. I love how you described it by drifting my hips past the ball. Then, getting the handle past the ball before I hit it. GREAT LESSON! Can't wait to go to the range tomorrow. Thanks so much! You're an amazing communicator.
Thanks. Guess I need to review and start fixing something, but the more important thing you said is "don't think to much....let your mind work it out. This was my little problem. Thank you very much. Your teaching and channel very helpful for this sport growing incredible, plus is beautiful. Love it.
Mr. Bazalgette, your lessons are awesome. Just went to the range with your how to start the downswing. Hit some of the most solid irons I've hit in years.

After purchasing your videos, and playing around with techniques you have taught...I've gone from 88-93 , to I'm 85 and below....After coming home from driving team truck with my wife, I had a good practice secession on the range, then played with a longer hitter that played from the tips, black tees..I,m 62 now, and told him I play from Gold tees, one tee in front of the white, measure at 5945 yards....Long story short.....I shot 40 on the front, 41 on the back...Heres the kicker....I had 5, 3 putts...But it was all good, because your video on getting my mind on the right path, even if I hit a shot I didnt like, I knew what happend, and knew how to correct it....I carried my yardage book in my back pocket, which I pulled out, and keep my mind on the task ahead....It was the best ball striking game I ever played.....I told him about not being able to play as much, because I'm truck driver with my wife, and credited my success to your teaching technique and video...PS...I also had 2 chip ins......Thank you again, your a great inspiration..........Leland

Adam another great video. This should be for all beginners, I sure wish I had seen this one even now, much earlier. WOW do I have something to work on now. I can see how this will help me hit better shots. Thank you again.
Just tried this drill for the right hand position on the range and have been amazed at the results.I have been playing for years and never thought about my right hand aiming at the target.I have always been left hand dominant and probably had the right hand too passive. By adopting the 'stone throwing' thought and aiming through to target has been a revelation.
Hello Adam, I’m going to try your tips. I have taken up the game again after 20 years stopped playing back then because I had lost confidence in my swing and playing this game became frustrating and it’s only been a few months since starting up and ohh my it’s such a struggle for me to get a positive swing thought I will hit a bucket of balls will hit the first 10 balls okay then can barely get it up in the air I will hit a few ok and then hit a few bad ones and once this becomes recurring. I will just leave the range before losing more confidence in what I am doing.I watch a lot of videos of different tips for beginners of which I feel I am starting all over again I have come across a few of your teaching videos. My ball flight is basically a slice and sometimes feels like a weak cut shot. I can only get good contact with basically only a 1/2-3/4 swing a full swing makes it worse and this is only with a pitching wedge I know I’m cutting across the ball cause this ball flight gets magnified as I attempt to hit the higher clubs. What’s interesting is I can chip fairly well it’s the full swing that’s been a struggle will go to the range again to try until my confidence is lost will pack it up and try again. Thank you for the great videos hopefully yours will help me break through to just make decent ball contact to at least make a round of golf a pleasurable experience for me.
Well done Adam... I'll be sharing the idea of staff lean and applying pressure to the ball with my teammates in our "Bad Golf League" very soon. Great teaching as always. Thank you.
The content you create and share means a lot to me. As an avid golfer having access to instruction from a 2x PGA teacher of the year is invaluable. Thank you for covering a wide variety of issues in a concise and well explained manner. Kudos!!!
I'm a subscriber, and you have unlocked so many important learnings that clarify the problems, and solutions, I have been dogged by. Topping the ball with irons, slicing on drives, direction, and fairway woods: all the frustrations that keep one's game from becoming respectable. Next? Practice, practice, practice!
Adam, we really enjoy your videos. You take a simple and straightforward approach that addresses basic principles. If I wanted to bring my 13 year old son down for a few lessons from you, do you have a schedule we could look at? We are from Canada.
Thanks very much Jerry. If you go to www.adambgolf.com you'll see the info you're looking for (go to 'Book a lesson' tab for programs). I hope to meet you and your son sometime. Best, Adam
Very helpful video, i’m going golfing for the second time ever tomorrow and i’m trying to make sure the basics are down before tee time, and this definitely helped. Thank you!
From time to time, I feel I have to get back to basics with my swing, so I watched this video tonight and I can't wait to use what I saw here on the range this week. A couple of things I need to know: At what point in the takeaway is it best to cock the wrists?, and one thing I have not done is keep my left arm straight throughout the swing; is there a drill to keep me in the habit of keeping my left arm straight?
When you line up to your shot with your driver, and your ready to hit the ball what are you thinking? And how about with your irons,, especially the short irons.
With my driver it easier to me, I tell my self Finnish the swing and to that I have to swing with control so swing easier. With my irons 4,5,6 I do better than my short irons. I like your swing wise I could swing like you aways in control. I'll keep working on it Thanks for your tips and videos 👍👏
I'm an amateur golfer in Japan. I'm 47 years old. The best score is 75 and the driver's maximum carry is 340 yards. How is my swing? Please give me some advice. Thank you!⛳️🏌️♂️
Just started golfing ...about 8 weeks total now. As of right now I'm just having fun and not keeping score when I go to the golf courses. Your videos are a great help for a beginner like me. The question I have is when should I go for lessons? Should I just continue having fun for the golf season (Canadian here) or should I book my lessons with a pro as soon as possible.
+Canmak Thanks, and glad you're getting started. I'd say lessons are good, but not sure everyone giving lessons is that good. See if you can find out from some established players who in your area has a good reputation. Best, Adam
Wow Adam, once again great video. I am frustrated this year so far with my iron play. Very odd, I can bomb a 3 wood almost 250 yards straight as an arrow, but would push/thin even sometimes fat almost every single iron shot. I believe it is due to me opening/turning my hips too early thinking that I MUST get my weight forward on short iron shots. Will have to try keeping the hips more in line with the arms and of course these wonderful drills as well at the range tomorrow. Thanks so much for these videos!
Great videos 👍 explained in such a way that really makes a lot of sense and I have been doing it all wrong looking back so thanks. Hitting the range this weekend to practice 👌I’m quite the beginner 😂
The thing I disagree with is that every golfer needs a rod to show them the line. You can't take a rod for direction assurance on course, but what you do is ensure your feet are square and in your practice swing your chest is perpendicular to the target line at follow through. Aside from the direction rod, a very good video.
Thanks Kevin. Those are reasonable references, of course there are many exceptions in the pros, regards initial alignment of feet (Trevino well left, Palmer right etc), and a number of different finish positions. Generally chase turned past the perpendicular reference. All the best, Adam
This instruction has improved my general accuracy and comfort with my swing, but I'm left wondering about how I should create a fade/draw. In another video you mentioned that fade and draw should be produced merely by adjusting the bow of the wrists through impact, but here you say the club face control ought to be a result of the correct swing plane. So my question is: should I apply a particular swing plane for corresponding shot shapes, or should I always use the same swing plane and merely adjust the bow of the wrists for shot shapes? I feel as though I would prefer to let my shot shapes be determined by my swing plane, but I'm not sure if this would be correct.
Phil, Honestly, there are different ways to do it. Adjusting aim would change club's path at impact, adjusting swing plane would be another. Either way you'll have to have control of the club face. I hope this helps. Best, Adam.
@@Scratchgolfacademy Yes, it does help. I suppose I could aim a swing plane by rotating it about the vertical axis without changing any other variables. Thank you.

and then hit a few bad ones and once this becomes recurring.
Hope you make good progress, and enjoy the process!
great video! simple and straight to the point, loving the channel💕💕
Thanks! Best, Adam
the mallet concept is great! never though of that when starting out; will start over with that
Thanks, hope you make good progress.

Well done Adam... I'll be sharing the idea of staff lean and applying pressure to the ball with my teammates in our "Bad Golf League" very soon. Great teaching as always. Thank you.
Thanks Chuck. Like the name of your golf group!

Best instruction on the interwebs.
Thanks very much!

The content you create and share means a lot to me. As an avid golfer having access to instruction from a 2x PGA teacher of the year is invaluable. Thank you for covering a wide variety of issues in a concise and well explained manner. Kudos!!!
Very help full video, I will try to stop bringing the head of m’y club at the ball but use the shaft instead, thank you
Bernhard,
Thanks for the comment.

Thanks, hope you see a lot of progress.

I really like these instructions. So simple.

Very helpful video, i’m going golfing for the second time ever tomorrow and i’m trying to make sure the basics are down before tee time, and this definitely helped. Thank you!
Thanks Jose, play well.

Hi Adam, excellent tips! does the pressure shaft forward apply to fairwoods and drivers as well?
Thanks. Yes it does, but with driver, because it's on a tee, the hit is more level to the ground (less downward).

Thank you for the excelente video.... played earlier today and man did this help me .
Glad to hear it Tony!

Joe,
I have videos on both subjects at this channel, I hope you'll find them helpful.

When you line up to your shot with your driver, and your ready to hit the ball what are you thinking?
And how about with your irons,, especially the short irons.
Each person is different. I have certain swing cues that I feel I need to work on, but they are different to most people’s issues
With my driver it easier to me, I tell my self Finnish the swing and to that I have to swing with control so swing easier.
With my irons 4,5,6 I do better than my short irons. I like your swing wise I could swing like you aways in control.
I'll keep working on it
Thanks for your tips and videos

How do you put your hands up in the backswing? Do you push with your left, pull with your right or a combination of both?
It's totally up to you how you feel things in your own swing.

The drills are incredible!

I'm an amateur golfer in Japan. I'm 47 years old. The best score is 75 and the driver's maximum carry is 340 yards. How is my swing? Please give me some advice. Thank you!⛳️🏌️♂️
I can’t really comment without seeing your swing, but your numbers are good

I am uploading the swing video on my channel. I hope you can see it! 😊
Great, thank you for this. Some say don’t press hip forward just think turning. Isn’t it both?
Glad you liked the video, and yes, I think it’s both.

@@Scratchgolfacademy Thanks very much for answering.
+Canmak
Thanks, and glad you're getting started. I'd say lessons are good, but not sure everyone giving lessons is that good. See if you can find out from some established players who in your area has a good reputation.

Thanks, hope you make some progress with the irons.
Best, Adam
Great videos 👍 explained in such a way that really makes a lot of sense and I have been doing it all wrong looking back so thanks. Hitting the range this weekend to practice 👌I’m quite the beginner 😂
Best of luck with your game Pablo.
Thanks, Adam
The thing I disagree with is that every golfer needs a rod to show them the line. You can't take a rod for direction assurance on course, but what you do is ensure your feet are square and in your practice swing your chest is perpendicular to the target line at follow through. Aside from the direction rod, a very good video.
Thanks Kevin. Those are reasonable references, of course there are many exceptions in the pros, regards initial alignment of feet (Trevino well left, Palmer right etc), and a number of different finish positions. Generally chase turned past the perpendicular reference.

Phil,
Honestly, there are different ways to do it.
Thank you.
this is everything very well done and simple
I like your teaching technique.. I'm from the Philippines..
