Due to how damage works on Minecraft (Java), adding Multishot doesn't increase damage but increases damage area. The thing is that when one firework hits you, you enter into the red damage animation, which actually are invulnerability frames that last 0.5 seconds, so you're not receiving extra damage from the other 2 fireworks. The only way you can add more damage while being in the red animation is receiving damage greater than the first one, and in that case it doesn't stack, it overwrites the smaller one lol Still kinda deadly having 9 crossbows against people without the correct armor set
@@Elfking94 You do you know if they remove the 0.5 of invulnerability people that can click even as slow as 6 times per second could potentially "oneshot" most enemies or other players and lets not get into the people who can click like 11 times per second. fun fact regarding I frames and getting hit. Magma cubes have a faster attack interval compared to most other mobs and attack at about twice per second, due to this they can do what seems to be a double tap. since the cooldown for it's attack lines up with when the invulnerability frames run out. Considering the surprising amount of damage (9 hearts) a large magma cube does, it can kill unsuspecting players the first time they go into the nether. Completely unrelated, but magma cubes also lack proper pathfinding and will jump off cliffs randomly.

I tested it time and time again in Flat. Aside from actual players, this arm is super effective against the spiders(1-hit-K.O!) and Endermen. Apparently an Enderman's AI doesn't recognize rockets as incoming projectiles, so it hardly tries to dodge those shots fired. Very cool. Edit. Although note that it's useless to concentrate all three missiles at a single target, since A: that usually means you're in danger-close sitch where you'd be blowing up yourself, and B: each rockets' damage output doesn't seem to stack at all.
It’s always an end game weapon everytime when I play on a server with friends. By this time everyone has good armor and farms necessary to make a lot of fireworks.
Fun Fact, When it comes to the main enchantment multishot it’s best used on less powerful crowds of players because a player with a shield can basically mostly negate the damage and it’s even worse if he has an enchanted shield with full enchanted netherite but what you can do is instead of multishot you can get piercing IV which will accomplish two things, the first would be that the rocket can also pass through the shield, not just arrows and secondly it can also negate some of his defense, because let’s say your enemy has Prot IV then if you have Piercing IV it would be just like he’s wearing normal netherite against a full power firework rocket. Which is why I always prefer Piercing over Multishot.
A tip for the dye, you can break the tall flowers with a fortune III tool and it’ll give you more of those flowers. And you can keep placing and breaking them to get an infinite amount
Rocket Launcher, basically. I have a question, do other components like gold nuggets or feather (that replace fire charge), or additions like a diamond and glowstone dust change the performance of a firework star besides cosmetic? If no, it seems like fire charge is the best choice for battles, while others are for striking looks
FIRE CHARGES DON'T INCREASE EXPLOSION SIZE All explosions have the same hitbox, no matter the pattern. Don't waste blaze powder. Also, white dye is much easier to get than any other dye. You can craft it out of bonemeal
Just a tip- I would recommend building a gold farm and bartering station, my small Shulkercraft bartering station has gotten me several stacks of fire charges without ever having to harvest blazes.
Having a firecharge in the firework does not increase damage radius. Small ball and large ball have the same damage radius. Firecharge only affects particle radius. Also the enchantments were applied in an inefficient order. First apply one book to the crossbow, then craft two books together and apply the combined book to the crossbow before applying the last book. This makes it slightly cheaper. Good tip for getting extra dye, with bonemealing flowers.

As far as the bone meal part (for dyes), I prefer a melon/pumpkin farm into a chest, then a hopper that goes into a composter, then another hopper to a chest. Fully automatic, infinite, scalable bone meal, and you don't have to go chasing after (or avoiding) mobs. You can also attach a block to the hopper leading into the composter that has a lever attached so that you can lock the hopper and just collect melons or pumpkins.

I've considered using crossbow launched or despenser launched firework with stars to act as an anti elytra defense on a server I am on. It's a peaceful server, but I think is would be funny to have these fireworks going off like flak as they fly in. Give people a good spook

There's a little known method to increasing your dye per bonemeal output...
When growing a single tall flower, find a flat area, knock out one block in the middle, place the flower in that one lower block, and bonemeal it there. You're guaranteed at least six to nine flowers per use, if done correctly.
this doesn't work on java btw
Java cant use bonebeal to regrow the same flower
@@thalassaer4137how do you get tall flowers in Java?
I knew about the rockets in crossbows thing, and how it was fairly decent damage. Didn't know you could use multishot with them though! That is kinda bonkers damage, but now I know my goal in my friend's server.

LOL, good luck!
Yeah and the cool thing is that you only waste one rocket and not three.
You'll get even more bonkers damage with explosives like the end crystal and the respawn anchor
@@Rayvenns They will suspect of it, it's really obvius, and if you don't play against easy mode bots like u they won't fall for it, they are extremely unefficient and the placement is really especific.

These could be nightmares for the pillager raids, if you design a defensive wall for the village that funnels the pillagers to one section than open up with the rocket launcher you could really mess up the pillager and vindicators, ravegers are tanky so it will weaken then but they will have a decent chunk of hp left by the time the infantry are dead and evokers are worth killing asap regardless of whether they are with the horde or not.

Curious, what do you mean by that?
@@saturn_fpv late but basically anvil use cost isnt based on the enchantments combining but how many times the item has been used on the anvil. It also takes the item in the anvil that has the most anvil uses on it’s number so if u mix a book u used on the anvil once with one that was used twice it takes the twice used one and brings it up to three the equation is like (x-1)^2 where x is the amount of times it has been used on the anvil( idk if that equation is the exact right one just what i remember)

This is pretty good when combined with the spyglass on the other hand.
actually that's a pretty neat idea! i never thought of combining a ranged weapon with the spyglass in the offhand. nice!

Multishot doesn’t triple the damage because there’s invincibility frames, but it does make the blast radius bigger
Crossbow + fireworks + multishot combined with Elytra is the best combo ever(aka. Carpet Bombing Aircraft).
ive been using this since xbows were a thing but i never knew i could skip the fire charge, that makes it so much cheaper
Insert Clash of clans Reference
@@xboxworstgamer4 royale > clans and splashyard > hogrider

I thought you could only put unreaking and mending on a shield, why would that matter

Rocket Launcher, basically. I have a question, do other components like gold nuggets or feather (that replace fire charge), or additions like a diamond and glowstone dust change the performance of a firework star besides cosmetic? Just cosmetic
They are just cosmetic.

The uploader of this video lied. Fire charges only increase visual radius, not actual blast radius. I tested this myself, so have many others.
just a question : should we use infinity instead of multi shot?
Infinity doesn’t work on crossbows or with special ammo.
@@sealedtugboat9965 oh rip
Having a firecharge in the firework does not increase damage radius. Small ball and large ball have the same damage radius. Firecharge only affects particle radius.
Also the enchantments were applied in an inefficient order. First apply one book to the crossbow, then craft two books together and apply the combined book to the crossbow before applying the last book. This makes it slightly cheaper.
Good tip for getting extra dye, with bonemealing flowers.

good thing to note, piglins give fire charges so if you have a bartering farm you should have plenty
Since you can't enchant a crossbow with something like Power to increase the damage, this is an amazing way to get higher damage. I had no idea fireworks and crossbows could be so deadly together.

It helped me out thanks 😊

It has only _one flaw;_ the fact that Firework Rockets are not automatically loaded, the same as arrows; you _have_ to have the rockets in off-hand. This limits potential strategy.
Personally, I prefer to make rockets not with 7 firework stars, but with 6, and adding one more gunpowder instead. The reason being that it flies further, thus having more chance to actually reach the target. However, I did not know about fire charges being able to increase the blast radius, gotta remember that.
On a sidenote, I can't damage myself with my own fireworks for some weird reason. (even on Hard difficulty)
It is false. Fire charges actually don't increase blast radius. They increase the VISUAL raidus. Damage area remains the same.
Fun fact:In bedrock edition (I think) you can use fortune to farm 2 block tall flowers (They basically just multiply the drops of flowers)
