How tf is he mining without encountering lava pockets? I swear to god i mine 3 blocks and lavas everywhere but he mines the whole damn nether and nothing.
Biome matters. There are some biomes with mostly netherrack and minimum lava. These are the ones you want. Whatever you do, do not mine under a lava lake. You will die, or be very inefficient, or both. Because lava beelzebub will fall on you with nearly every bed explosion.
None, because lava pools occur across the nether at y 0 across ALL biomes. Only a handful of regions get lucky enough to have their landmass generate down to bedrock and be dense enough to decrease the odds of lava pools and oceans...
really good video, one tip I have for the bed method is instead of using this slab method, you can just mine both layers, place a bed on the floor and place a block between you and the bed. If you use the bed over the top of the block, you will take minimal damage as well. This is easier to do since you don't need slabs and can just use netherrack you pick up.

A much easier way to raid bastions is to use an invis potion, (you need to take all your armor off or it won’t work) none of the piglins will see you and won’t be angered by you opening the chests, just don’t get too close to any or they’ll attack you

Well technically ancient debris is the 2nd rarest ore, the 1st rarest is Emerald ore which only can be found in very few biomes while ancient debris can be found in any biome in the nether
Yes the rarest is deepslate emerald ore. But since emerald is easily found, I considered ancient debris the rarest, since there is no other faster way to obtain ancient debris.
And Steve can transform oak logs into planks using only his barehands + can wear golden armoe which weights couple thousands of kilograms so why not tranform gravel into sand by hand or through grindee
3:15, no need to do that, just place the bed and a block in front of the bed, use shield then explode the bed and u also get no dmg, yeah shield is gonna get damaged but u can craft more shields so that is not problem
a better way of doing the bed method is: setting up a VERY long tunnel, and instead of going straight after exploding the bed, you go backwards from where you came, so you dont have to bridge over fire or lava
For beds method you could just make a tunnel then place the bed at the end of it and place a block right in front of you so you take no damage or a little or fire damage (works with tnt and creepers too)
Hey! Just wanted to give you my thanks, i've been testing out the tnt and the bed mining methods and I'll say they work pretty good! A tip if you have an iron farm is to use stacks of empty buckets to grab lava. If you get a few obtrusive lava sources in your tunnel this is the way to clear them in seconds. And since you have an iron farm you can opt to just chuck the bucket. You could use it for other purposes, but since the buckets don't stack once filled this will quickly take a lot of inventory slots. I sometimes fill a few shulker boxes while at it, but often I just throw them and let them despawn.
When it’s just one lava source block, you can just place any block to make it disappear. But when it’s a lot of lava, this would really work better! Thanks for the tip!
Kaela was averaging 120 per hour using TNT, fire resist potions, and a 1w, 2 tall tunnel, detonating them with fire arrows. the spacing was every four spaces per tnt
@@TheMineMentor I merely had responded to let you know the numbers she had been getting on stream, and she optimized it, because she was building a netherite beacon, with all blocks in the pyramid made of netherite. I think the whole thing took her 4 months or so, with one zenloss in there. Again, just so you know the numbers she was working towards...
Another tip for raiding a bastion is staying in the walls/floors using a trapdoor to enter a 1x1 hole. This method works great at right above lava level. fill in any open blocks above or below you as you go. can bridge over the lava as you create a tunnel to protect you from the mobs to the center chests or come in from underneath once you located the gold blocks. Ladders help with this later method.
really good video! a method I personally also use is to dig a 1x2 tunnel on a chunkborder and then turning to the side, mining a straight line in the wall while moving to the side this will uncover a lot more blocks that the 2x2 tunnel and will yield a bit more from my experiences

Thanks a lot! I’m happy it helped!
@@TheMineMentor You're welcome
0:08 ...I dont think thats true.
You mean emerald deepslate ore right? That’s true, but I meant more like rarest useful ore. Because emeralds are still easy to find or get.
Yeah but beds are easier to make than tnt and you can’t use beds to find diamonds

Wow, that's a great video! Thanks so much! I'll use it to find netherite! I just suscribed to you and I gave a like!
I’m happy to hear you liked the video, thanks for watching!
You sound a lot like Guga
Yea I just noticed lol
When i was watching your video i thought u were some youtuber with 5 mil subscribers but i was suprised u only have 5k keep it up definitely got a sub
That’s the best compliment a small youtuber like me can get. Thank you for that!😊 And thank you for watching my video!
Number 5: use the wither
Nah if your on bedrock it would blow up the whole nether
I play both versions thanks for providing some additonal useful info. Good thing you are going straight to the point.
Thank you very much! Happy to hear the video was helpful for you!
bro pls pin i am the 1k liker
Thank you for liking the video!
bro did u work at national geographic
Haha no, but I am a teacher :)
@@TheMineMentor Dang, how do you have or make time for this?
I’m doing this in my free time. Though it’s hard to find time, cause I’m still far from finishing my next video. But I really like to make these videos😊
mine mentor wow like you actually go through ur Commet section just makes my day chatting with a youtuber I watch :)
Yes, I like to comment on every comment, or at least give it a heart. I like to share and discuss things about Minecraft with others!
It’s also the good thing about being a small channel, cause otherwise there would be too many comments I think😄
fantastic video man, i normally dont comment on videos, but this one was just too good. straight to the point and not going off-topic. keep up the great work as youve just earned a sub :D
Thank you very much! I’m very honored that you normally don’t comment, but on my video you did. In 1 or 2 weeks I will upload my next video about finding diamonds. Hope you will like that one too!
Wouw! That’s really incredibly fast! I didn’t think about that😄
@@TheMineMentor I merely had responded to let you know the numbers she had been getting on stream, and she optimized it, because she was building a netherite beacon, with all blocks in the pyramid made of netherite. I think the whole thing took her 4 months or so, with one zenloss in there. Again, just so you know the numbers she was working towards...
Great video! Super informative and very helpful, no steps left out
Thank you!! Glad to hear you find it helpful!
nicely presented! slow enough to follow along and no unnecessary fillers. sub.
Thank you for your comment and your sub!
Your videos are very helpful, I am going to use your strategies in my Minecraft world that I play in with my friend
I’m happy to hear that you find it useful! Thanks for sharing!
Good tip! Thanks for sharing!
really good video!
a method I personally also use is to dig a 1x2 tunnel on a chunkborder and then turning to the side, mining a straight line in the wall while moving to the side
this will uncover a lot more blocks that the 2x2 tunnel and will yield a bit more from my experiences
Thank you! I’m gonna try it out!
Bro your videos are really awesome. Please make a video, how to find diamonds ❤❤
Thank you so much for watching! No worries, working on the diamond video right now, but it will still take some time. Once I’m done I will upload it straight to TH-cam! 😊
Thank you, i was searching for a good video like yours
Thank you!!
wow, i genuinely thought this was from a channel with like 3 million subscribers. this is top tier content. 👍
Thank you for that! I’m very honored to hear that!
Then there's my method where i make a copy of my world and put the copy world into creative and just blow the hell outta the nether. 😅
Great video dude! Definitely helps those who need it.
Hahaha love that one! It’s very efficient indeed😊
Thanks for your comment!
@TheMineMentor no problem. Subbed. I can always use extra help by Minecraft TH-camrs 🙃
i would suggest taking an ender chest to the bassion so that u can put the upgrade template directly in it to avoid losing it if u die.
Yes, that’s a great idea!
subbed because of this video. bro is great at explaining and not wasting time. GGs mate
Thank you very much for subscribing and commenting!
Thank you very much bro, I didn't know that it would be much easier to find it on the edges of the chunks 😮
Thank you for watching! I’m glad the video helped!!
Yo I never knew you could show chunk boarders! Nice tip!
Your welcome!
This video was so niceeeee. Happy to see that people are still making tutorials for Minecraft since all of the tutorials mostly are already made. 💙
Thank you so much for your comment Hashir Khan! I’m happy you enjoyed my video!
This video is very helpful since I just got back to minecraft. When is the next video coming out?
Thank you very much! I’m happy to hear it helped you just returning to Minecraft!
The next video will still take some weeks probably. I wish I had more time, but I have very few time for my channel and the videos I make take me quiet some time haha. But I think that in the near future, I will be able to get more time for youtube and upload more often.
the tnt placement is actually helpful, I watched an older tutorial and have always placed tnt 3 blocks apart for ages
Glad to hear it works good!
7:20 i was exploring fortress and got achivment for steping into bastion, so thats rare but not impossible
Yes, that’s true. After uploading I read that they can still overlap. Even though the parts that generate first are separated.
this is a pretty good and well explained guide!, thank you :3
Thank you very much! And you’re welcome😊
thanks this video is very helpful will definitely be using these methods and subscribed
Glad the video was helpful. Thanks for watching!
I have 1,000 hours in Minecraft but it's been years since I played. Just started a new world and this video was very helpful.
I’m very glad to hear it helped you coming back to Minecraft again! Thanks for watching!
9:41 you can also use a hopper and place it underneath the chest. The hopper will collect the items from the chest and none of the piglins will aggro
Yes, that’s also an option. Thank you!
Thank you so much I suck at exploring the nether and only go for netherite and blaze rods this really helped
You are welcome, I’m glad the video helped! Thanks for watching!

Thank you for watching and commenting on my video!
@@TheMineMentor Awesome videos! thank you :)
the best option imo is to do digging. with bed bombing youll usually be breaking down your armor faster and have a good chance you might get set on fire a bunch. i found that digging with a really fast pickaxe with ab efficency buff abd digging 3x3 block tunnels is the best . you can do 2x2 but you be suprised how many times theres netherite above you
Didnt know about the chunk border thing for bedrock so tyvm
