Hi Tim, thank you for showing the Land Rover Series 1 Club at 20 mins & 30 secs, and a positive review of the stand, I own the red 80 with the ‘homelands’ rally plaque on the bumper 😊 your Homelands video from Packington is really good 👍
Thank you so much Tim - great walk around! Felt like I’d actually attended by end of your video!! Couldn’t make it this year unfortunately. Lovely to see the various SE Calibras - still miss my old humble white 8V……….
Great video of a show I have visited on a number of occasions. Was this shot over all 3 days or just on 1 day as it looked a lot quieter than usual. Could it be (like me) that the admission price and the ridiculous car parking charge has put many punters off this year. Interested to hear your comments Tim.
It was shot in about two hours on the Sunday afternoon. Over the full three days, it was very busy so I waited for quiet periods to film. Where possible, I always try to get the train in and out of international, so much quicker and cheaper than driving
Great video thanks. Personally I question whether some of the cars on show fall into the classic car category, more suited to a pimp my mobile show. Thanks
The definition of “classic” is always a hot topic. I’d say it’s a good universal term that covers a vast plethora of car culture - from the essence of dragster racing to late 90s modified cars, vintage vehicles to unbelievably rare survivors, Classic Motor Show has it all.
@ thanks Tim. I look at it from the point of if someone said to me I,ll bring you Classic Car to view I would expect to see a restored moggy, mk1 escort or mini or something like that. I like your channel and subscribed👍
@eddiebooth9602 thank you so much! And yes, everyone’s definition of a classic is different. My Calibra Turbo wouldn’t be considered a classic by many, but it’s 30 years old now and is seen as a classic my insurance. I think it can all be explained by two words… time flies!
You missed the TVR stand 😢
