The current price of the GFX 100S in the USA is about $4400. I expect additional price reductions will happen for that model to motivate buyers to clear out inventory since a $600 price difference isn't that much (especially for those who can afford the GFX system).
No info on what will actually be different about the 100SII? I appreciate any info but more news about what might be new or improved in the camera would be great.
How is it that Fujifilm is going to sell the same camera for a more expensive price in Europe which has a stronger currency? I’m not so sure about this information Patrick. currently, $5000 USD is trading at €4674 Euros. So, is Fujifilm really going to sell their newest GFX for €4674 euro in one region and sell it for €950 euro more in another? That’s a significant price difference between two markets. Also, the current price of the GFX100s is not that far often either so, I’m not so confident that Fujifilm would sell at a slight price increase, just not very logical unless they’ve somehow become more charitable, which I have always believed that Fujifilm as a corporation is a very awesome company so maybe. And factoring in global inflation, there is no way they can make a better camera years later with microchip shortages and global inflation for $1500 cheaper than the previous model, irrespective of the price of the GFX 100 II.
I have Nikon Z9 and Fuji Xh2 and other cameras . My next camera has to be global shutter . This is where I stopped for this current technology ,the next move has to be significant .

Sure, the 100s' value is going to drop, especially on the second hand market. Fuji has set a 1600€ discount for several months already.
