I think they’re done with the xpro line. They’re done making unique or complex to manufacture cameras, as soon as the x100 series stops selling as well as it is they’ll can it as well. They seem to want every camera to be slr style and the rangefinder style is pretty much the sole reason I got into the X system in the first place. Fuji has been going downhill for years, the xpro3 wasn’t properly tested and had tons of manufacturing issues and that ribbon cable issue that is a ticking time bomb for many users that will eventually stop working. The x-pro 2 however was a masterpiece, but it’s an old camera now, almost ten years old and it’s lacking most features you’d expect from a modern camera.
I am actually relieved to finally receive this information. Leica M has been calling me for a long time and this is just the perfect excuse to move on in that direction.
It's literally five or ten times the price, maybe more if you include brand name Leica lenses. The difference from Fuji is pretty far from worth the money, let's be honest. I don't understand how no x-pro4 would somehow push someone towards Leica, but each to his/her own I guess 😊
Same here. It’s a relief, as I was waiting for the X-Pro4 to be announced, while tempted by the Nikon Zf… now I can finally buy the Zf and sell my Fuji gear, without not knowing if the XP4 just might be around the corner.

But I love the Fuji system, particularly the XPro line, because of the rangefinder style body. Now that I know it’s not being updated I can see myself moving in that direction too. Not because I hate Fujifilm but because I was looking for an upgrade for my Xpro3. Since it isn’t coming, this is my chance to try something new. You are absolutely right it’s expensive, but there are some cheaper alternatives for glass. By cheaper, I mean cheaper in Leica terms 😅. I’ve had the XPro 3 for 4 years and it’s starting to show its age, i’m starting to have screen issues, and I’ve had the internal battery replaced twice. I absolutely love this camera and will probably hold onto it, but I’m definitely intrigued by shooting with a true rangefinder. This reply is with all due respect, hope it is received well.

Now I know Fuji dont really care about the XPro line I just want to follow that urge to move on and discover Leica. Respect your own personal decisions.
Sorry but sorry but I have to disagree with you! I have highly credible sources. It's coming this year: X-E5, X-Pro4 & last but not least a GFX in rangefinder style with fixed optics and central shutter. You can honor me when the time comes. But it will still take a while. We can expect the GFX at the end of the year at the earliest because a GFX100S II will also be presented in the next few months

Have an X-E3 and X-T2, following the same path. I have a great selection of lenses and these old sensors are fine and are still fulfilling artistic and professional needs.
I'm so jealous that you have an XE4. All I have (other than a big heavy Nikon D80) is the Fuji X20 that was my everyday and travel camera since 2013. After much debate I decided that the XE4 was the best upgrade for me from that camera but unknown to me the camera had been discontinued and suddenly the stock disappeared here in Australia and then globally.
This piss me off so much, I was really holding into not buying other bodies just so I could get a new X-PRO, getting a xpro-3 is almost impossible lately, so they stopped the production and are not plaining to release it, very disappointed
Glad I picked up the Zf. It’s tough I think Fujifilm has lost some market share with this delay, the Xpro line (especially with the unique LCD) is one of the few interesting cameras left
I can't help but think that loyal x pro users are feeling a little neglected. If you prefer a range finder or in the case of the pro3, range finderish your choices are very limited. The viewfinder was the initial reason I looked at the xpro line. I absolutely love the pro3, I have never used a digital camera that made me want to take pictures more than this camera does. What I don't love is the failure rate on the flip down screen, something I hoped would be addressed with a pro4. Honestly that along with auto focus improvements and ibis was all I was looking for. I will soldier on with my pro3 while I contemplate what my next camera will be when the time comes. I have a feeling that they could care less.
Mad respect for taking the dip! I'd subscribe the channel for that gesture alone were I not already subscribed. You care more about Fuji community than Fujifilm itself.
Xpro 4 not coming out kind of made sense to begin with if you look to the release date relationship between the X100 series and the Xpro series. But I am still bummed. I'd rather had them continue with the X100v as it is still a popular camera and performed good enough, and come out with a new Xpro first than a new X100. But yeah, thank you for not clickbaiting the Xpro this entire time.
Thank you so much for this information I have been watching your site for the last 2 years every day for information on the xpro4 it’s the one camera I wanted more then all other Fuji cameras , now that I know it’s not coming in 2024 I will have to consider a gfx 50Sii with the 35-70 instead it’s the closest thing to a digital XPAN and there are some pretty fair prices on the used market . The Pro3 is appreciably better, especially on paper. However, the Pro2 (and this is very subjective), feels to be built better and has 97% of what I need in the Pro3. And a camera you like is a camera you’ll bring often and use to make photos.
I think they’ve abandoned their unique cameras altogether. Seems like just endless xt, xs, gfx from now on. SLR style bodies and the x100 series for as long as it’s still popular until they abandon it like the x-pro because it’s complicated to manufacture just like the x-pro. They moved the x100 manufacturing to china to cut costs already so it’s not looking good for any street photo centric cameras.
Since they discontinued the xpro3 years ago now, I think it’s fair to say they’re done with it which is really sad. I wanted an upgrade from my xpro2, but it looks like Fuji doesn’t want my money anymore. Probably gonna sell my whole system and spend way too much on a Leica m11, would rather have an xpro4 but Fuji is killing off the only competitor Leica has all while their x100 line is more popular than ever. The xpro line could get that same wave of popularity that the x100 has been getting but Fuji seems totally averse to risk anymore.
I am very sorry for Fuji. The Xpro 4 is unique from the other big 3 brands camera. Xpro series is the niche market for Fuji. Customers are looking for compact camera with high specification. Sony A7Cii or A7CR or A6700 are very compact camera but they have very low specifications of EVF, LCD and no joystick. After waiting Xpro4 for a long time, now I will move on to other cameras. No more opportunity with Fuji. Bye.
Thanks Patrick. This at least is closure for me. I can get on with ordering a Nikon Zf and Voigtlander 35mm APO. And not be hoping for the X-Pro4. Might keep the XP2 as a backup or sell it on. Shame as I really enjoyed the Fuji system.
Why, Fuji, why ? The Xpro-Line might be not a workhorse like the XH2(s) and the X100VI will definitly sell as crazy, but the Xpro-4 is a flagship camera in it’s own right and since it‘s technically not as different as the X100VI and should therefore not be too expensive to develop, why on earth aren‘t they releasing it as an interchangeable lens alternative for street and travel photographers ?
The class action lawsuit against the X Pro 3 won’t have helped. If they’d changed things it may have been seen as an admission of the alleged faults. It’s a shame, I’ve put money aside for what would have been the body and a couple of lenses. I might have to look elsewhere ☹️

Has Fujifilm shown any interest in any of their retro-style cameras in the past two years except for the X-100VI and the X-T5? Perhaps they’ll announce a roadmap on Tuesday that assuages my concerns but right now it feels like they’re moving away from the segment. If the S and H series cameras are an indication of the future of Fujifilm, I don’t see the point. They’re wonderful tools but they don’t interest me. I’ll go back to Sony if I’m forced to buy a larger camera without dedicated dials. 🤷🏻♂️

I think Fuji is in a tough position. Many people clamored for change following the X-Pro2, but the X-Pro3 was very polarising. Some loved it (like me), others really disliked it. Problem is, that if they go away from that design people will be angry, if they keep the design people will also be mad. So it's a bit of a loose-loose situation for Fujifilm. In the meantime I'm holding on to my X-Pro3!
I was hit by a taxi. I'm ok, but my x-pro3 is only partially functional and not in good physical shape. How about an x-pro3s? If not, it liiks like I'm out of the Fuji system.
Well, very good to know so i don’t keep holding out for it. But sad, as there is just something about its form factor that i have always preferred to all the other Fuji models.
I honestly think that the X-Pro is a somewhat niche camera and demand is lower than the X-T and X-H series bodies at this point and I feel Fujifilm is in no rush to put one out. I've been a Fuji shooter since the beginning an in my first hand experience in all their cameras, it is the X-Pro 2 that is the pinnacle of their design and build and is one that will always stay with me even if I move to other systems, which I have. The Pro 3 didn't impress me along with most if not all of the current bodies since.
Exactly the seme feeling. I'm stuck with the Pro 2. I dpn't like the Pro 3 and its tilt screen. And there are no really improvments over the Pro 2.I own 2 X-T4 for the video, and i'm still very happy with it ! But when it comes the time so thoot pictures, my X-Pro 2 always wishpering what i have to choose to my ears....
@@cedricleclercq3731 I always prefer my DSLRs for the unique sensors some have in them and overall robust handling but I'm finding myself shooting my XPro2 more often lately. I don't think I'll get an XPro4 if it comes out or even the 3 used for the fact of how sensors are becoming visually redundant and boring in the last five or so years. The XPro2 I feel is the last of a breed.
Fr. They’ve gone so downhill in terms of their support for photographers it’s really sad. The x100vi looks to be a disappointment in a lot of ways, it’s the only camera they have left that utilizes their hybrid viewfinder apparently. I won’t be buying another x trans camera, sticking with my x100v and then I’m moving to another system for interchangeable lens cameras after this news. Their xt bodies aren’t unique anymore, Nikon makes full frame ZF cameras that are better for adapting vintage lenses than Fuji.
@@Kdkjdjewerdnxa I already did that but was still hoping for a X-Pro4. We just need to move on and look for better alternatives. I am keeping my X100V but for interchangeable lenses, I already got a Nikon Zf and moving to Nikon. This is just my opinion but I like the Zf much much much more than the XT5 and the price difference is not big.
I’ll give Fujifilm through the rest of the year to make announcements about the X-E5, X-T40, and X-Pro5 before I lose hope but, if they’re discontinuing these lines the system loses a lot of appeal for me. At that point I’m just here for the X-T5 and aperture rings and an increasing number of lens manufacturers are including aperture rings.
@@titanpocket5944 a lot of the lenses are. Pretty much all the f1.8 primers. Then Voigtlander has nice prime lenses in Z mount that are awesome and well priced as well. Now if you are talking about the f1.2 primes and f2.8 zooms yes, but then we are talking about 2 different leagues there. Tamron and Sigma will join soon. In my case I have few Voiglander primes from my F mount film cameras that work great with the Zf and FTZ adapter. So it is a win win for me. I also have a couple of F mount autofocus lenses that I use with the FTZ adapter.
Hi Patrick were you under a Fuji embago not to disclose this information regarding xpro4. Why disclose now so close to Feb 20? Fuji created a following with the xpro line of cameras. I bought an xpro2 sold all my canon cameras and L lenses (photography was fun) However the xpro3 was NOT a significant enough upgrade so I bought an Sony A7r4 with Batis lenses. The sony is a better technical camera but not in the fun factor. I would have sold the Sony bought a new xpro4 and into the Fuji system again purely for the fun factor. I tried the xt5 didnt like it such a shame if indeed your information is factually true. I would never purchase a Fuji product on principle again.
This is a rumor I've worked on for a long time. And I knew people would be torn between X100VI and X-Pro4, so I tried to get it out before, so that people can make a better decision. But I needed long to do so, because I had to be absolutely sure it is correct (hence check it with MANY trusted sources). Because I don't want people to make buying decisions based on wrong rumors.
Eine XPro4 wäre ja dieses Jahr auch nur eine X-T5 in anderem Gewand. Es gibt ja sonst keine technischen Neuerungen, was für den Launch eines (ehemaligen) Flagschiffs schlecht wäre. I still got my X-Pro 2 and i use it with the 18 mm F/1.4. What a fantastic duo. I love so much this gear. But i have to admit i would like to have an X Pro 4 with tthe same sensor than the X-T5 just to crop sometimes a bit my pics when needed. i will wait till mid 2025 and if nothing happened, may be i will have a look on the latest X-H or X-T series.... Or going back defintivly to Leica or Nikon.... But i don't understand this silence from Fuji. Not very cool for the us, first consumers falled in loive with X-Pro and X-E...
Seems like a dumb move from Fuji to abandon the Xpro range, they're currently the only company offering an affordable alternative to the Legendary Leica M range....and clearly there are a lot of people wanting that rangefinder-style camera that can't afford a Leica. For me, if there's no Xpro4 I'll bite the bullet, sell up on Fuji, make the (worthy) investment, and go over to Leica, my Fuji days will be done.
I think that if the X100V hadn't been such a massive success then we very well might be seeing an X-Pro4 this year but Fujifilm only have so much production capacity and with the X100VI on the horizon I think the writing could well be on the wall for the X-Pro line unless they make it into something similar to Leica's Q series but with a GFX-R body & sensor with a fixed lens.
XP4 will come with denser sensor and IBIS, but good things come to those that wait! I'm still holding out for the GFX 100R... as this would be a beautiful camera.

The rate the market has dropped I’m not sure there’ll be enough demand to justify an X-Pro4 in 2025. My X-Pro1 is getting a bit long in the tooth and I was hoping for an upgrade so it’s a shame but completely understandable given that the market for rangefinder style interchangeable lens cameras is virtually nonexistent.
Hi, great show but it’s time for some opinion related to Fuji, first I have had an XT3 but dropped it as the battery life was terrible. I recently acquired an Xe3 with a 23 mm lens and love it. I ordered and paid in full for an Xt30ii with a lens, silver edition, waited nearly 2 months here and still not received it, a few black XT30 came into my dealers stock and so I am expecting a black edition soon. I am aware of many orders for the X100v on back order for several months, I don’t believe they will get them. Fuji has poor websites here in North America and it’s difficult to find contacts to reach out to. I have contacted Fuji directly in Tokyo and no response. Clearly Fuji needs to focus on getting its supply chain fixed and also getting their customers placed front and center and get improvements in customer service. These are real facts and a real experience here in Canada. I look forward to the X100vi but concerned about delivery and quality if it’s not made in Japan. I appreciate the rumours but a message needs to GOTO Fuji that they need to improve and remember the customers drive their growth and revenue Regards Andrew in Ottawa Canada 🇨🇦

Very disappointing but the lake dip was worth watching. I guess the X-Pro "lobby" isn't strong or large enough to get Fujifilm to move on it. Oh well. I know a photographer who LOVES his X-Pro2, won't get the 3, and will be sad about no 4. And then there's me: also sad but I have the XH2 which is fine.
If there’s no X-Pro 4, there has better be an X-e5 . Fuji has been dried up for too long. You know the X100VI will be sold out in five minutes and that small retro form factor is THE reason most of us came over to Fuji in the first place.
A real BUMMER! Been shooting for 60 years, and my X-pro 2 has been my #1 all-time fav camera! Was really looking forward to higher res, IBIS, improved AF. I’m off to buy the Sony A7Rc, but it was my second choice. So long Fuji!

Thank you for this video. I believe, based on nothing concrete, there will be an XPRO4. When? Who knows? First the X100VI will be released. What will be in the XPRO4? The only speculation I will make is the 40MP sensor the new cameras have with the same engine. Everything the X100V has the XPRO4 will have. One question I have is about the screen. Will the flip down experiment continue or will we see a screen similar to the XH1? Nobody knows. We are currently experiencing the X100VI frenzy. I believe Fuji knows what they are doing. Sell your X100V for $1730 immediately! My Chrystal ball says X100V premiums are going to disappear. With the X100VI announcement two things will occur. 1st the price of a new X100VI will be lower than the cost of the X100V. 2nd people will sell their X100V to fund their VI purchase. Yes, you got it wrong. I never said or rumored the X-Pro4 for 2024. All I said is that there will be three cameras coming first half 2024, X100VI, GFX100SII and a third one
Fuji has downplayed the X-E series so much, it will now disappear. I would gladly see a hybrid camera, an X-E with the features of the X-Pro or a more compact X-Pro without that useless optical viewfinder. It's time to stop imitating Leica. The success of the X-T5 compared to the X-H series shows that there are still many who love its dial-driven controls and D-Pad.
@@StefanoA128 I disagree. Fine if you don't care for the optical viewfinder. But that is pretty much what made it different than say, a Sony A6700 which outcompetes the best of fujifilm in some aspects with the luxury of having e-mount. Especially if you are mostly a RAW shooter. And if anything, the OVF is filling a hole in the affordable OVF niche. It's far from imitating Leica as it's still hardly a rangefinder. The next most affordable OVF is the Pixii (which is a real rangefinder) but at a much steeper price and no autofocus.
In my childhood this beautiful place was covered with snow in February, so yes temperature is rising but still there will be a new X-Pro because Fuji have been working on it. When? We'll see but there's only so much the market can absorb nowadays and if Fuji can afford to use their cameras as a showcase for their other products that need to be profitable, they can't afford a flop with what once was their flagship. After much debate I decided that the XE4 was the best upgrade for me from that camera but unknown to me the camera had been discontinued and suddenly the stock disappeared here in Australia and then globally.
If you have an xpro, its cool. But there isnt a way to buy it for people who dont have one new.
This piss me off so much, I was really holding into not buying other bodies just so I could get a new X-PRO, getting a xpro-3 is almost impossible lately, so they stopped the production and are not plaining to release it, very disappointed
Glad I picked up the Zf. It’s tough I think Fujifilm has lost some market share with this delay, the Xpro line (especially with the unique LCD) is one of the few interesting cameras left

I can't help but think that loyal x pro users are feeling a little neglected. If you prefer a range finder or in the case of the pro3, range finderish your choices are very limited. The viewfinder was the initial reason I looked at the xpro line. I absolutely love the pro3, I have never used a digital camera that made me want to take pictures more than this camera does. What I don't love is the failure rate on the flip down screen, something I hoped would be addressed with a pro4. Honestly that along with auto focus improvements and ibis was all I was looking for. I will soldier on with my pro3 while I contemplate what my next camera will be when the time comes. I have a feeling that they could care less.
Mad respect for taking the dip! I'd subscribe the channel for that gesture alone were I not already subscribed. You care more about Fuji community than Fujifilm itself.
Xpro 4 not coming out kind of made sense to begin with if you look to the release date relationship between the X100 series and the Xpro series. But I am still bummed.
I'd rather had them continue with the X100v as it is still a popular camera and performed good enough, and come out with a new Xpro first than a new X100. But yeah, thank you for not clickbaiting the Xpro this entire time.

I got a brand new X-Pro2 instead and loving it more than my X-Pro3.
Why?
The Pro3 is appreciably better, especially on paper. However, the Pro2 (and this is very subjective), feels to be built better and has 97% of what I need in the Pro3. And a camera you like is a camera you’ll bring often and use to make photos.
I assume it's cause Fujifilm is working hard on an X80 and an X-E5! 😁
I think they’ve abandoned their unique cameras altogether. Seems like just endless xt, xs, gfx from now on. SLR style bodies and the x100 series for as long as it’s still popular until they abandon it like the x-pro because it’s complicated to manufacture just like the x-pro. They moved the x100 manufacturing to china to cut costs already so it’s not looking good for any street photo centric cameras.
They've already said the x-e is over.

Since they discontinued the xpro3 years ago now, I think it’s fair to say they’re done with it which is really sad. I wanted an upgrade from my xpro2, but it looks like Fuji doesn’t want my money anymore. Probably gonna sell my whole system and spend way too much on a Leica m11, would rather have an xpro4 but Fuji is killing off the only competitor Leica has all while their x100 line is more popular than ever.
The xpro line could get that same wave of popularity that the x100 has been getting but Fuji seems totally averse to risk anymore.

I am very sorry for Fuji. The Xpro 4 is unique from the other big 3 brands camera. Xpro series is the niche market for Fuji. Customers are looking for compact camera with high specification. Sony A7Cii or A7CR or A6700 are very compact camera but they have very low specifications of EVF, LCD and no joystick. After waiting Xpro4 for a long time, now I will move on to other cameras. No more opportunity with Fuji. Bye.
So disappointing, especially since the X-Pro 3 is discontinued. But at least they didn't say the line was cancelled. There is still hope! :-)
Thanks Patrick. This at least is closure for me. I can get on with ordering a Nikon Zf and Voigtlander 35mm APO. And not be hoping for the X-Pro4. Might keep the XP2 as a backup or sell it on. Shame as I really enjoyed the Fuji system.

Why, Fuji, why ? The Xpro-Line might be not a workhorse like the XH2(s) and the X100VI will definitly sell as crazy, but the Xpro-4 is a flagship camera in it’s own right and since it‘s technically not as different as the X100VI and should therefore not be too expensive to develop, why on earth aren‘t they releasing it as an interchangeable lens alternative for street and travel photographers ?

The class action lawsuit against the X Pro 3 won’t have helped. If they’d changed things it may have been seen as an admission of the alleged faults. It’s a shame, I’ve put money aside for what would have been the body and a couple of lenses. I might have to look elsewhere ☹️

Has Fujifilm shown any interest in any of their retro-style cameras in the past two years except for the X-100VI and the X-T5? Perhaps they’ll announce a roadmap on Tuesday that assuages my concerns but right now it feels like they’re moving away from the segment. If the S and H series cameras are an indication of the future of Fujifilm, I don’t see the point. They’re wonderful tools but they don’t interest me. I’ll go back to Sony if I’m forced to buy a larger camera without dedicated dials. 🤷🏻♂️

It would be great to hear an official statement by the management at the x-summit on tuesday about the status of rangefinder style cameras in the X-/GFX-Strategy.
I think Fuji is in a tough position. Many people clamored for change following the X-Pro2, but the X-Pro3 was very polarising. Some loved it (like me), others really disliked it. Problem is, that if they go away from that design people will be angry, if they keep the design people will also be mad. So it's a bit of a loose-loose situation for Fujifilm.
In the meantime I'm holding on to my X-Pro3!
They could include a fully rotating screen similar to something like on the xt4 for example. I'm also team xpro3, but that could be a good solution

Well, very good to know so i don’t keep holding out for it. But sad, as there is just something about its form factor that i have always preferred to all the other Fuji models.
I honestly think that the X-Pro is a somewhat niche camera and demand is lower than the X-T and X-H series bodies at this point and I feel Fujifilm is in no rush to put one out.
I've been a Fuji shooter since the beginning an in my first hand experience in all their cameras, it is the X-Pro 2 that is the pinnacle of their design and build and is one that will always stay with me even if I move to other systems, which I have. The Pro 3 didn't impress me along with most if not all of the current bodies since.
Exactly the seme feeling. I'm stuck with the Pro 2. I dpn't like the Pro 3 and its tilt screen. And there are no really improvments over the Pro 2.I own 2 X-T4 for the video, and i'm still very happy with it ! But when it comes the time so thoot pictures, my X-Pro 2 always wishpering what i have to choose to my ears....
@@cedricleclercq3731 I always prefer my DSLRs for the unique sensors some have in them and overall robust handling but I'm finding myself shooting my XPro2 more often lately. I don't think I'll get an XPro4 if it comes out or even the 3 used for the fact of how sensors are becoming visually redundant and boring in the last five or so years. The XPro2 I feel is the last of a breed.

Fr. They’ve gone so downhill in terms of their support for photographers it’s really sad. The x100vi looks to be a disappointment in a lot of ways, it’s the only camera they have left that utilizes their hybrid viewfinder apparently.
I won’t be buying another x trans camera, sticking with my x100v and then I’m moving to another system for interchangeable lens cameras after this news. Their xt bodies aren’t unique anymore, Nikon makes full frame ZF cameras that are better for adapting vintage lenses than Fuji.
@@Kdkjdjewerdnxa I already did that but was still hoping for a X-Pro4. We just need to move on and look for better alternatives. I am keeping my X100V but for interchangeable lenses, I already got a Nikon Zf and moving to Nikon. This is just my opinion but I like the Zf much much much more than the XT5 and the price difference is not big.

I’ll give Fujifilm through the rest of the year to make announcements about the X-E5, X-T40, and X-Pro5 before I lose hope but, if they’re discontinuing these lines the system loses a lot of appeal for me. At that point I’m just here for the X-T5 and aperture rings and an increasing number of lens manufacturers are including aperture rings.
@@titanpocket5944 a lot of the lenses are. Pretty much all the f1.8 primers. Then Voigtlander has nice prime lenses in Z mount that are awesome and well priced as well. Now if you are talking about the f1.2 primes and f2.8 zooms yes, but then we are talking about 2 different leagues there. Tamron and Sigma will join soon. In my case I have few Voiglander primes from my F mount film cameras that work great with the Zf and FTZ adapter. So it is a win win for me. I also have a couple of F mount autofocus lenses that I use with the FTZ adapter.

Fuji created a following with the xpro line of cameras. I bought an xpro2 sold all my canon cameras and L lenses (photography was fun)
However the xpro3 was NOT a significant enough upgrade so I bought an Sony A7r4 with Batis lenses. The sony is a better technical camera
but not in the fun factor. I would have sold the Sony bought a new xpro4 and into the Fuji system again purely for the fun factor.
I tried the xt5 didnt like it such a shame if indeed your information is factually true. I would never purchase a Fuji product on principle again.
This is a rumor I've worked on for a long time. And I knew people would be torn between X100VI and X-Pro4, so I tried to get it out before, so that people can make a better decision.
But I needed long to do so, because I had to be absolutely sure it is correct (hence check it with MANY trusted sources). Because I don't want people to make buying decisions based on wrong rumors.

Eine XPro4 wäre ja dieses Jahr auch nur eine X-T5 in anderem Gewand. Es gibt ja sonst keine technischen Neuerungen, was für den Launch eines (ehemaligen) Flagschiffs schlecht wäre. Also muss erst etwas technisch neues her mit dem man auch werben kann. Schade eigentlich, denn es wäre so einfach gewesen. Video raus, Stabi rein und Preis etwas senken.

I still got my X-Pro 2 and i use it with the 18 mm F/1.4. What a fantastic duo. I love so much this gear. But i have to admit i would like to have an X Pro 4 with tthe same sensor than the X-T5 just to crop sometimes a bit my pics when needed. i will wait till mid 2025 and if nothing happened, may be i will have a look on the latest X-H or X-T series.... Or going back defintivly to Leica or Nikon.... But i don't understand this silence from Fuji. Not very cool for the us, first consumers falled in loive with X-Pro and X-E...
Seems like a dumb move from Fuji to abandon the Xpro range, they're currently the only company offering an affordable alternative to the Legendary Leica M range....and clearly there are a lot of people wanting that rangefinder-style camera that can't afford a Leica.
For me, if there's no Xpro4 I'll bite the bullet, sell up on Fuji, make the (worthy) investment, and go over to Leica, my Fuji days will be done.

I think that if the X100V hadn't been such a massive success then we very well might be seeing an X-Pro4 this year but Fujifilm only have so much production capacity and with the X100VI on the horizon I think the writing could well be on the wall for the X-Pro line unless they make it into something similar to Leica's Q series but with a GFX-R body & sensor with a fixed lens.
The longer we wait for the XPRO4 there will be more goodness added to the body.

The rate the market has dropped I’m not sure there’ll be enough demand to justify an X-Pro4 in 2025. My X-Pro1 is getting a bit long in the tooth and I was hoping for an upgrade so it’s a shame but completely understandable given that the market for rangefinder style interchangeable lens cameras is virtually nonexistent.

Hi, great show but it’s time for some opinion related to Fuji, first I have had an XT3 but dropped it as the battery life was terrible.
I recently acquired an Xe3 with a 23 mm lens and love it. I ordered and paid in full for an Xt30ii with a lens, silver edition, waited nearly 2 months here and still not received it, a few black XT30 came into my dealers stock and so I am expecting a black edition soon. I am aware of many orders for the X100v on back order for several months, I don’t believe they will get them. Fuji has poor websites here in North America and it’s difficult to find contacts to reach out to. I have contacted Fuji directly in Tokyo and no response. Clearly Fuji needs to focus on getting its supply chain fixed and also getting their customers placed front and center and get improvements in customer service.
These are real facts and a real experience here in Canada.
I look forward to the X100vi but concerned about delivery and quality if it’s not made in Japan.
I appreciate the rumours but a message needs to GOTO Fuji that they need to improve and remember the customers drive their growth and revenue

Very disappointing but the lake dip was worth watching. I guess the X-Pro "lobby" isn't strong or large enough to get Fujifilm to move on it. Oh well. I know a photographer who LOVES his X-Pro2, won't get the 3, and will be sad about no 4. And then there's me: also sad but I have the XH2 which is fine.

If there’s no X-Pro 4, there has better be an X-e5 . Fuji has been dried up for too long. You know the X100VI will be sold out in five minutes and that small retro form factor is THE reason most of us came over to Fuji in the first place.
A real BUMMER! Been shooting for 60 years, and my X-pro 2 has been my #1 all-time fav camera! Was really looking forward to higher res, IBIS, improved AF. I’m off to buy the Sony A7Rc, but it was my second choice. So long Fuji!

I believe, based on nothing concrete, there will be an XPRO4. When? Who knows? First the X100VI will be released. What will be in the XPRO4? The only speculation I will make is the 40MP sensor the new cameras have with the same engine. Everything the X100V has the XPRO4 will have.
One question I have is about the screen. Will the flip down experiment continue or will we see a screen similar to the XH1? Nobody knows. We are currently experiencing the X100VI frenzy. I believe Fuji knows what they are doing.

My Chrystal ball says X100V premiums are going to disappear. With the X100VI announcement two things will occur. 1st the price of a new X100VI will be lower than the cost of the X100V. 2nd people will sell their X100V to fund their VI purchase. Supply and demand will dictate the lower X100V price.
I only earned a C in economics so YMMV. I think it is crazy to pay a premium for a used camera.

Fuji has downplayed the X-E series so much, it will now disappear. I would gladly see a hybrid camera, an X-E with the features of the X-Pro or a more compact X-Pro without that useless optical viewfinder. It's time to stop imitating Leica. The success of the X-T5 compared to the X-H series shows that there are still many who love its dial-driven controls and D-Pad.
@@StefanoA128 I disagree. Fine if you don't care for the optical viewfinder. But that is pretty much what made it different than say, a Sony A6700 which outcompetes the best of fujifilm in some aspects with the luxury of having e-mount. Especially if you are mostly a RAW shooter.
And if anything, the OVF is filling a hole in the affordable OVF niche. It's far from imitating Leica as it's still hardly a rangefinder.
The next most affordable OVF is the Pixii (which is a real rangefinder) but at a much steeper price and no autofocus.
In my childhood this beautiful place was covered with snow in February, so yes temperature is rising but still there will be a new X-Pro because Fuji have been working on it.
When? We'll see but there's only so much the market can absorb nowadays and if Fuji can afford to use their cameras as a showcase for their other products that need to be profitable, they can't afford a flop with what once was their flagship.
