Had no idea this company had a facility in Franklin, TN. I grew up in Franklin, and will definitely be choosing Emotiva as my next amplifier.

What upgrade paths will be available for the MR1L AVR and it's big brother ? Very expensive units and they lack some top of the line features other receivers have at the same price point. I own the MR1L but wish I had some more features like better HDMI for gaming and App compatibility for more customization
That aside, the power it provides is like no other and it's why I bought it. It also sounds really good but let's not forget the popping noises and the super slow boot up.

Something that I have wondered about is why haven’t you done a headphone amp or Dac/amp yet. Thought you would have done one by now!

If you want a bananas headphone amp, take a look at our BasX A2m. Probably one of the most powerful amps to run headphones and can double as a regular 2 channel amp.

Twisting standing up is the worst way you can pick something up.

It would be more value for money if xlr is provided for basx series amps

There is no need for XLR connections over short distance, RCA Cables are good enough, no difference in Sound Quality

@@Music.Movies.67 good to know. So as long as the distance from AVR preout to Amp RCA input is less than 3 feet in my case if I have to, it should be good right?

Exactly Basx is not balanced internally so XLR does nothing in your case,

Yea, you guys should seriously stop beta testing your products on your customers. I feel like I got completely hosed by buying the RMC-1L. It was buggy as hell even after that last firmware update which made it better. Better isn’t good though, it’s just better than crappy. For $4000, you shouldn’t be missing features that you guys promised. From
Day one, the Bluetooth never worked once. Neither did ARC or
E-ARC. Then you come out and announce you’re releasing “Plus” models with all the features basically that the original RMC-1L was supposed to have, but you say that if you’re not the original Purchaser, you’re shit out of luck. WTF is up with that?! Just because I didn’t buy it directly from you, I bought it a couple months after release, and SOMEONE bought it directly from you. You got your full purchase price, so why the fuck would that mean that I’m not entitled to the discounted upgrade plan then? It seems it’s just a way for you to exclude People from taking advantage of it. Really disappointing, because I loved you guys and what you make.

Emotiva should engineer better products and include WiFi/BlueTooth, 2.1 like the competition.

Agreed 100% What did Dan say in that intro? "Value, performance and Quality?" Clearly that doesn't describe any of their processors!
