To celebrate the release of the 'None More Negative' box set, superfans Jami & Dom from the band Code Orange got to sit down with surviving Type O Negative members Johnny and Kenny about the band's epic history.
In this final clip Johnny and Kenny go over the unknown stories behind the artwork for 'Life Is Killing Me'. Type O Negative managed to get real x-Rays and toe tags to bring the album's concepts of death to fruition.

Peter Steele was a prophet even predicted his death on accident in an old interview.
Prophets are sent by God, and i'm pretty sure we haven't had one of those in a very long time. He was a Christian, who read scripture.
I remember that. He talked about how it seemed like every three or four months, someone he knew would die. He then said something like, "People always ask me why I'm dressed like I'm going to a funeral...You never know who's gonna drop dead next. I hope it's me." And just a few short years later, he indeed died. It almost seems at times like he somehow knew, even if just subconsciously, that he wasn't going to be alive much longer. R.I.P. Peter.

You just can't beat the type O' guys and an interview....(also gotta laugh just as much, at the record... having little "dusty" skips in the last video here)
I actually miss the "tongue in cheek" jokes, these guys, have always had and easily....yet, honestly bring so well....
Too bad Josh, didn't want to be there or maybe couldn't (I get it...Hell I didn't want to do half the shit I had to do...and Josh, never has enjoyed this interview crap....maybe?)
Of course... I have acknowledged, the dearly missed...Peter, not being able to make it.
However I was lucky enough to find these guys, as I was standing, front row.... in Greenville S.C. when TON, was opening for Motley Crue.
That's why...I have always stood behind Motley... if nothing else....for doing what they did for these guys...other than the fact the 94' "Corabi album" really does kick ass in my opinion!
Anyways....It's just good to see these guys, together discussing TON and what they did here.
TON is forever... welcome in my world....and I can truthfully say these 4 knuckleheads, managed to touch my life, in a huge way... with what they gave to us all...."their emotions through music".
I'm forever linked...be it playing drums, on Rex Brown's album, or playing guitar... with silvertomb... and even helping whoever he can with the EMT Service... just whatever within life....I got these guys backs....I'm there and I support it!

i met and talked to johnny kelly about the old type o time after a aphnd show in 2019 and about his new gretsch drum kit 💚🖤💜
One thing i really miss in the whole series is pictures of details shown on the screen as they are pointing fingers on actual copy.

love this album too, i saw you guys live at san francisco's slims back in 2003, it was a blast even though i was pretty wasted at the time i still remember a lot of it.

Peter's ancestors went extinct 2 million years ago. Lmfao 😂. These guys were always funny. Josh is pretty dry though, at least from how he would act outside the shows I used to go to in NYC.
Josh was never down with the larger than life rockstar bs, and he didn't like attention.

I was taking my brother to the airport and we were listening to I Don’t Want to Be Me. My brother asks me how did Peter die and as soon as he asked the part of the song played “without warning, heart attack” rang out, we were stunned for a second and then burst out in to laughter. We laughed the whole rest of the ride to the airport. Fucking classic Peter Steele shit there, perfect timing even in death…
Funny timing, but he didn't die from the early reported heart attack. It was sepsis from an infection from his diverticulitis.

Your going to have to scour eBay off and on. I’ve never seen it, just individual overpriced copies of Bloody Kisses and October Rust.
I lucked out and just got Bloody Kisses for $48. I hadn’t seen it below $70 ever. Just a plain black vinyl, no special colors. That’s cool because I just wanna hear it on vinyl.
