Very Nice! Canon Powershot G9x is great pocket camera. Powershot S100 or S110 are twice as good as the SD series cameras. Might be worth grabbing if you find a deal. 😉👍
Loved the video. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on those cameras! I'm currently looking for a point and shoot since I don't want to rely on my phone anymore as well lol
yeah, for some reason your video was recommended for an random brasilian teenager that loves cameras, keep up with the videos🍾. here cameras are expensive as hell :(
That's awesome - thank you. I have 2 other TH-cam channels and each tine I've started one I say I'm going to do stuff the so-called right way. Then I just decide I should just have fun. Thanks for watching and commenting... 😁
Little late to this one but I don't think you have a problem at all, just a pleasant addiction. For a long time I had just one camera, a Nikon B700. Then a thrift store opened in my town and older digital cameras started surfacing at really great prices. I bought several, then gave several of them away. Right now I have (along with my phone and the B700) an Olympus TG-310, and Olympus SZ-10, a Sony DSC-W610, a Sony DSC-w810, a Canon Powershot SD-850, a Sony DSC-H1, a Canon SX50HS, a Nikon 1j1 with 10 and 18.5mm lenses, and a Sony SLT-A57 with 18-55 and 75-300 lenses. A lot of the time I'll just grab one randomly without thinking about it too much, and go, and that's what I use for the day. So no, like I said, not a problem, a pleasant addiction. I can stop any time I want....lol
Glad you liked it! I’ve been playing with TH-cam for a few years, I find the best way for me to get a video down is in one hit. Even it takes me 20 takes 😂
Hi Tim! I happened to come across your channel and this was the first video that I have watched. I enjoyed your video and if I were to list all of my compact cameras, it would take a 15 minute video! Lol Most of my compact cameras are older, have CCD sensors, and range from 2 - 20mp. I have Nikon, Olympus, Canon, Panasonic, Kodak, Fuji to name a few. All are small enough for pocket carry. My biggest issue is my tremors make it difficult to hold the small cameras without having camera shake. Best of luck in your photography journey! Best Duane P.S. It was refreshing to watch your short, to the point video!
If you want to know anything about any of these cameras or want to see a video about them - just ask and I'll see what I can do... Now say Hi and subscribe... Thanks!
Excellent video Tim - many thanks! I'm looking for a good quality camera for vlogging to replace my phone I've been using. With Amazon Big Deal day coming up in Oct, any ideas for ones I should consider? Thanks again!
@@barrysanaloginsights hey Barry thanks for coming to watch my new channel. What are you vlogging with right now? I’m mostly going to be making videos about taking photos but I think this channel could talk about vlogging…. The Sony ZV-E10 seems to be the popular choice.
@@TakenByTim Ah yes sorry Tim - forgot it's mostly taking photos :) At the moment I've been using a Moto G54 for my videos, but wanting something dedicated now for videoing. Thanks for the Sony recommendation.
Hi tim, your video was recommended on my yt as i have been researching about cameras and what to buy as a beginner wanting to click good photos (i am a fine artist and wants to click pictures so with good quality to recreate it as a painting), can you suggest as which camera to buy? this will be my first ever camera, i want something not to complex with good quality pictures and hoping affordable, your recommendations will help. thanks ps: you can make longer videos, please dont worry about keeping it short.
@@TakenByTim under $1000, something compact and portable, if its in point and shoot category then it would be great as i dont want the hassle of changing lens
I looked up Panasonic Lumix DMC FS45, MinoFlip HD has horrible video, So I guess the pictures won't be good. So I wouldn't get those. If getting a camera, it sohuld take better photos than a smartphone. I looked up Canon PowerShot G9 X, it looks decent, but ain't cheap. But not bad for a pocket camera, video and photos is decent. Audio seems to be decent at least indoors, for vlog video. So far II only have my smartphone ( Samsung A52S) and my full frame Sony A7 IV. But I keep it safe in my backpack. Too scared to damage the lens and camera on backpack straps or anywhere on my when riding. So I miss some shots then.
You missed the point of my cameras. The point of my cheap cameras is not for "quality" its for creativity, convenience, cost and fun. And I think phone photos miss the most important factor and that's character. They are almost "too good".
@@TakenByTim oh, then none of what I mentioned matters. But I would get a pocket camera out of these it would be the G9 X. I'm sure what the character you are looking for is, but as long as its fun that's what matters.

Well thanks !!! I tried to have some fun and run through my camera collection in one go and in 5 mins...
Appreciate it! Thanks.
Great straight-to-the-point, no bs video, Keep it up man. 🔥✨

Cracking video - very interesting and useful as I'm in the market for one for my daughter.

Save your money and fly to Japan after you know what to look for. You can find out what others want and make a business if it.
Whoa. A mini flip? That's an oldie but a goodie!
You can buy them for about £15-20$ I have a spare. Such a simple camera.

Some how I missed that you had this channel. So subbed. Seems like this channel is quite new.
Yeah quite new and maybe long term where I’ll do more. You can never have too many TH-cam Channels right??? 🙄🙄🙄
Can you review the Sony CyberShot DSC S930? It is the only I have.
Thank you
😆 I can’t review that camera if I don’t have it 😜 what do you think of it?
I saved this to watch later... but something tells me you forgot the Canon G10. 😜
I dont have a G10 that’s why 😂😜
This is just a video about ALL my cameras - at the time!
Kool video, i take a canon SD1200IS i got new in 2011 everywhere as well as a G7Xmii, and either a lumix GX85, an EM10miii or sony A5100/A6000.
