How to make Clouds using Geometry Nodes!

  • Using Geometry Nodes and a little bit of shading we are able to make any cloud you wish from large and fluffy to small wispy and to top it all off it's all controllable from the side tab!

    You should plug the Color output of the Noise node into the Vector Subtract node, which will do a much better distribution of the points, instead of just stretching them along a single line.

    Awesome stuff! After a bit more tweaking I've found a better scale method.
    On "Set Position" node; drag the Position input to a new "Vector Math" node (set to Multiply). Now multiply a "Position" node with a "Combine XYZ" node. Now if you tweak the x y z values the entire cloud gets scaled on your chosen axis.

      Oh that’s a good idea! Up until this point I’ve just been scaling the object itself but having it as a slider on the side sounds much better tbh!
