hey this was pretty usefull to me. But one Question is still there. Is it possible that Something like a Plane or so can fly through and will leave a trail when it flys through the clouds ? Hope you can give me Feedback.
I'm trying to upload the asset browser but my library wont let me. I click on it it just opens the folder. I click the folder inside and then nothing. It'd be great to get some insight on this
First of all I'd like to re-iterate that these are static VDBs (I thought otherwise). I do not recommend getting this if you're using Eevee as it's not useable most of the time. You end up getting very thin, almost transparent clouds that don't even render well.
👍👍👍 hi. i was watching your video about creating roads, could you make video, how to export top-view of whole roads-model, as an image (map)? if it is possible.. or its size will be too large for export? or is it possible at all?
the volume displace will only" fake simulate" cloud motion, and does so on top of the main shape by slight noise, for best cloud simulation you should use true fluid simulation sequences, which means these will not be the choice. You can make your own fluid animated clouds with blender mantaflow or older blender fluid engine, which is a bit faster, but they are very slow to simulate. preferably Embergen or Houdini ..if you cant buy in to that, you will be stuck with slower simulators within blender.
You can´t increase emission like that. You need to feed density in to the emission color and adjust emission strength, if not you would get off the charts emission blocky emission shading. or you feed density attribute in to emission strength and adjust color, I prefer the first though. using emission is mostly good for "simulating" fake illumination, but results are often too flat, so use sparsely. preferably you would use the real thing, which is multiple volume bounce scatter, it´s not until you reach maybe 20 bounces that you will get any proper powder shadow effect within clouds.
Hi everyone! Let me know what you think about Cloudscapes in the comments below! :)
Sold!
:)
When you use the density trick to get the fire-like effect can you change the colors? If so it may be a good way to make nebulae.

This is something i want to know too

why do my could volumes just not appear when i drag them in from asset browser?
I have the same problem !

Hey my Clouds always look grey, how do i fix that?
Does it work with Eevee?
Any place where I can donate for this channel?
Please make a video on waterial shader addon by polygoniq !👍
Do you know if these can be animated? i.e could wind affect their shape etc?
yes you can, look the tutorial : th-cam.com/video/pcFuWvs8Y7M/w-d-xo.html

Y’all ever heard of embergen?
1st???
Looks like it!
