I am afraid that next dune film are taking place 20 000 years before the happening in the dune films of nr 1 and 2. And to be honest : the trailer diden't impressed me. I think that the next dune film will suck bad.

Atreidies aren't perfect good guys either. In the books, they are just as scheming as the other houses, but they place honor and respect as core values, and are thus the most popular and most respected of the great houses (besides corrino).

@@giglomesh123 There is a book written from Herbert's notes, published by his son. In that book, (and well described in the Book "Dune) the Fremen were descended from Zensunni wanderers. The "prequel" book, if you can call it that, details how a faster than light ship that was created before the Spice induced prescient ability, was stolen by a Zensunni and loaded with a group of fellow Zensunni who then randomly jumped at FTL and ended up stranded on arrakis after the ship landed in the desert. The Zensunni then spent the next 10 thousand years adapting to the harsh life on Arrakis, aided by the later arrival of a Bene Gesserit from the Missionaria Protectiva, a sort of CIA branch of the Bene Gesserit that sowed legends on planets that would convince the locals to help a Bene Gesserit if one ever arrived there and needed help.

He was a was a kept trying to escape, he was sold as a slave to harkonnens , he managed to get a message to caladan ( he seduced the daughter of the governor of his camp )
Leto sent a rescue mission.
And not long after lead the assault on grumsn were Duncan was the gero of the battle with gurney. He had a 300 body count in letos service. But gruman was his first battle battle before was a fight in house. But as s tranee with no experience he killed 28 moritani men.
Years later he killed 19 sardukar far better soldiers

He was miniter of spice production and the great houses in areakeen was his he lived there for many years restored it and made improvements.

Atreides the good guys? When they were?
Oh house atreides goes on a rampage. His son becomes a dictator for a 1000 years. Paul's war kills Billions. The lansrad and the Freman turn on Paul at one point. His wife gets the bene geserite prosecuted. Yea they were the good guys until Paul lived long enough to see himself become the villian. He foresaw most of this. Sister revealed the rest and his son fulfilled his father's goal of intergalactic rule by House atreides.
You start to understand why the Bene Geserite were afraid of Paul and almost agree with them tryin to kill him. My issue his grandmother (reverend mother of house Corrino) and grandfather (Baron Vladimir of house Harkkanon) tried to kill him knowing he was their grandchild
Being good guys was why the emperor was threatened by them. Honor and justice is their motto, and it's been that was sind the Jihad. So when? about 10,000 years

Spoilers: How come paul defeated the corrino army when its said they are unbeatable and the movie showed that paul then goes war with all the houses and wins. how? he doesnt have the numbers

The fremen are actually the best warriors in the known universe. Sardaukar are brutal because of their brutal environment, and well, arrakis and the planets the fremen and their ancestors (zensunni wanderers) wandered through were harsher than the planet of salusa secundus, the og homeworld of house corrino and the current homeworld of the sardaukar. I don't think it was explained well but the fremen are supposed to be that much stronger than the sardaukar that even an average fremen fedaykin can take on multiple sardaukar. This is why the bene gesserit wanted to control them from the beginning and so they started the plan of a kwisatz haderach and the fremen prophet of the lisan al gaib to basically be able to use them. Only paul didn't really follow them and instead did his own thing
Sauduakar often fail against Freman
Fremen are equal or stronger than sadukar and you forget that Paul can see the future you can’t beat someone in a war where they know your moves even before you thought of them.
you could have chosen something better of a background song, then a up beat music for a movie that is not very up beat.
So, what happened to Earth and the Solar system?

This movie is kind of unique or should I say I'm surprised. Because of how I pictured the future, that the Democracy or Republic would be more Dominant. But somehow in this sci-fi movie, there's still a Monarchy, which is why I loved this movie. And I should also read the books lol. (Please give me some preloved books)

I did not like when they added the Arabic language to the film and added characters like Lisan al-Ghayb and al-Mahdi. It made the film very boring. It could have been better without it.
