Oh em gee. Thank you for this. Crazy helpful. I've calmed down so much from watching this video in prep for graphics op.

Great Video. I always did the notes with two laptops and two monitors with a cue light remote. Please keep these videos coming.

Super g, thank you very much! This should work through a video switcher like the roland v160 id think since the switcher simply sends signal out. This is a setting issue i was having and didnt realize it was on the powerpoint / windows side. Thank you very much

Do you have any recommendations for good HDMI cables for live streaming, events, etc?
There are so many on Amazon and we don't want to waste our limited budget on the 'wrong' ones.

Hey, how are you driving your PP to the next slide? I assume you are using a clicker, since your laptop is away from you? Couldn't one just use the laptop facing them and get rid of the monitor facing you? Essentially only using 2 displays?

Hi. Thank you for your comment. Yes, you would use a clicker to drive the presentation. This particular scenario, in this video, the laptop is at a tech table in another section of the room. So, the presenter would not have access to the laptop from the stage. Some events have multiple presenters and don't want the down time of people setting up and breaking down laptops between presentations. It can make for a more seamless attendee experience. But, in more informal settings, yes you could just present with a laptop at a podium or close to the presenter.

can we use the splitter instead of docking station?

    • @360avrentals4

Hi. Typically, a splitter would just duplicate the same video signal. So, to my knowledge, a splitter would not be effective for this setup. Thanks.

Do you recommend a docking station that has SDI and HDMI ports. Or if there is no such dock that has an SDI ports which Dock do you recommend that preforms will with HDMI. Thank you. Looking foreword to using your company when in your neck of the woods.

Thanks Larry. I haven't seen one that uses SDI. The ones that we primarily see have HDMI outputs and multiple USB inputs. There are a number of good brands out there. We have a few from a brand called TOTU. They make pretty reliable docking stations. I believe that is the one that is being used in this video.

What if only 2 displays show up

Hi Hargun. Try selecting "Detect" under the display settings.
