Thank you x1000. I'm so glad you made this video. Your directions were super easy to understand and follow. And, now that I know how this is done, I can share it with my professors :)

I'm glad you found the video helpful. For those who will be presenting virtually or in a hybrid situation while out of their usual setup this can be a very helpful technique.

Super helpful, thank you!! I had to play around with this a bit to get it to work (closing zoom and reopening, closing sharing window and reopening), but ultimately it did!

Great video! I could find no other instruction this clear on this topic anywhere. Question. Why would this not work in some cases? Example: I have two friends that have followed this procedure to the letter and Zoom will only display what is on their own screen. Do you believe that this is a Zoom issue, PowerPoint issue, or an internal video card/windows issue? However, your instruction works just fine on my ASUS laptop.
I'm glad you found the video helpful and thanks for your supportive comments. I always recommend people join a Zoom meeting using the latest Windows app so that all of the features are updated. If someone joins a meeting from the Zoom web client instead of from the Windows app the sharing dialog looks slightly different. It doesn't display the windows below the screen. The windows are in another tab in the dialog, I've updated my page at www.thinkoutsidetheslide.com/share-full-screen-slides-see-notes-in-powerpoint-presenter-view-with-1-screen/ with a screen shot of the web sharing dialog that shows this situation. I don't think Zoom restricts or changes the sharing dialog based on the hardware of the computer. I hope that helps.
I'm glad you found the video helpful. With one screen it is hard to see everything you may want to see. I usually recommend a second screen and have a number of options for a second screen in this article: www.thinkoutsidetheslide.com/options-for-adding-a-second-screen-to-use-powerpoint-presenter-view-in-teams-or-zoom-presentations/
Thanks for the presentation! How do I make sure the video of the person presenting is not small, but large enough for others to see him or her? Any tips on that? I'd love my own video during my presentation to be as big as the shared slides window.
I have two articles that offer options for what you want: www.thinkoutsidetheslide.com/present-with-your-video-beside-your-powerpoint-slides-in-microsoft-teams-or-zoom/ and www.thinkoutsidetheslide.com/use-edge-picture-in-picture-to-display-your-webcam-beside-powerpoint-slides-in-teams-or-zoom/. Hope those help.

Hello plz can you help me it says to sign in microsoft office produck key but when i m putting my email its going directly online and not powerpoint on my home screen plz help
This is great! Thank you so much for making video. Question: is there a way to combine this with the tip from your other video where we use the camera app to show both video and presentation? I know it's a stretch because essentially i'm sharing everything on the screen, just wondering how that can work with me being able to see my notes somehow
No, this tip would not work with the other tip because this shares a window and the other tip shares the entire screen. What you are looking to do would require a second screen.
