(And not that it's relevant or that it matters, as I'm searching for what was born on August 8, but I know the first FNAF game was released on that day 8 years agon.) (If there are other things released/born on that day, do let us know.)
Not gonna lie, I still love the Combiner Wars Megatron. I managed to get the Takara version for a steal. The simple transformation never bothered me, his silver coloring is delightful, and let's be real... his giant size is actually appropriate since he's a tank. If a tank decided to stand up and fight a truck cab, he would be ENORMOUS! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR MOM, AND CHANNEL!
I remembered from this how much I absolutely love the comic book designs. It's the perfect shapes of the cartoon animation models but with the visually appealing colors of the original toys.
Happy 2 year anniversary, glad I've been here throughout both those years. Here's to another year!!! And I'm glad I'm not the only one who soured on the Siege Megatron. It all feels so... wierd and gangly. I have the Netflix one so it looks absolutely stunning on the shelf, but we desperately need a new Megatron. I'd be happy with the ER one having tye Siege's head
Thank you so much for sticking with me so long. What did your icon used to be before Arcane came out? I don't remember. I don't know that I'd call the Siege Gangly but yeah it's weird.
One thing I'll mention regarding MP-36 KOs is that some companies are incredibly Brazen in how they duplicate the official packaging, so much so that I'm almost convinced that they are "Seconds/Rejects" that failed QC somewhere along the line at the actual MP-36 factory and the factory sells them themselves under a fake name. I bought a MP-36 that was advertised as a KO off Amazon and it looks exactly like the official box, and came with everything the official did as well, including the trading card. It also blatantly has the Takara Tomy logo all over it. Aside from the fact it was sold as a KO, the only thing that was off was the presence of a dead moth inside the tray with the accessories
I’ve heard of KOs like that. Like they literally sneak into the factory and make some figures using the molds while no one is looking. Or they are just rejects.
That's what I'm wondering, like the packaging is either directly off an official MP or it is an official MP. Did it have the Stamping correctly soft of the side of the box.
Happy Anniversary!! Crazy to think you've grown your channel so much in 2 years and helped a ton of collectors with your reviews. Can't wait to see how much you grow in the coming years!
Am I the only one who thinks mp Megatron’s transformation is actually really fun. Like, yeah it’s a lot of moving parts but (especially if you just completely transform the legs and waist first) it’s really satisfying to move around and click all the pieces into one solid gun
About r.e.d, i have a theory that the whole intention of hasbro making r.e.d line is to make the main line ( WFC,SS, now Legacy) looks so good that everyone would buy it. Also for me the best megatron is combiner wars megatron and armada megatron.
Well that's been a good amount of time, one day you will be an OG of this channel, and I'm glad I can entertain you so much. Thank's for sticking with me.
First of all, happy birthday to your mom and happy channel anniversary. You have easyly become my favorite transformers reviewer here on TH-cam and i never miss any of your videos. They are all excelent and your personality and sense of humor is great too. I wish you all the best, everything you've achieved you absolutelly deserve. Keep up the good work!!!
The Siege Netflix version is my favorite G1 style Megatron. The Generations Selects Super Megatron is my second favorite design of the Decepticon leader. Also happy anniversary to your TH-cam channel. -Bold Form Gladius. What a surprise. That's a figure I haven't heard of in a long time. I remember that toy from that one JobbytheHong video.
You're talking about the Combat Megatron, no. I don't like that one, at all. The Winter Camo green color scheme looks ugly. I do like the Titans Return Megatron. The robot, jet and tank modes are cool looking. But the headmaster gimmick is a deal breaker. So if I had to pick a triple-charger Megatron figure to have, it would be Super Megatron. He's a Generations Selects TakaraTomy exclusive. Base on the Japanese side of Transformers, where Dark Nova restored Galvatron back to Megatron, but in a more powerful form.
The last megatron for those who dont know, it turns into a gun and a tank, also question of the day how would you improve the tripple changer megatron (the one thag turns into a gun and tank)
Make it out of good materials and give it a good transformation I’ve just started the video so I’m just assuming you’re referring to Bold Forms Gladius
I was always a fan of how big Megatron was compared to the autobots in Animated, so I might replace my Netflix Siege Megatron with the CW version as my definitive chug Megatron to recreate that. Newage and MakeToys are definitely on my watchlist now though
Yeah, I love how the Decepticons towered over the Autobots, since it feels like they cared more about accurate vehicle to robot scale than say, g1. Starscream is a jet, of course he'd tower over a firetruck
Firstly, congrats on 2 years! cheers to 200 more! Also, a figure not in this list which I love is animated Megatron, not objectively great, but still good fun, other than that, I think your ranking is pretty accurate, and this is a well deserved upgrade to the original video
Thank you so much. I didn't have one of those to cover unfortunately. Despite my vast Collection, I can't say that I have them all. And thank you so much. I'm glad people appreciate this leap forward.
Happy. Anniversary. This channel is part of my Saturday morning "cartoons" and never disappoints. This is a great list, I a interested if you think of scale also. I'm a chug collector and for me I haven't found better version than the toyworld Hegemon. Even now he looks great next in my "earthbound" dec3pticons display, with all of the recent hasbro offerings
Thank you so much! I don't take Scale into account in these WTB Videos, the point is to find what is the best most definitive version of the character regardless of scale. Some times the best We've ever gotten is a Legends figure, some times it a Chug, often times it's an MP. If you are looking for something in the scale you prefer just go with the highest rated figure in the Scale you like, though these lists are very hard to complete because it's not like I have every instance of a character ever so don't go thinking if I didn't cover it it's not worth your time.
Happy anniversary, I started watching this channel about the first year anniversary and its great to see how far it has come in a year both in gaining subscribers and the style of content
happy birthday to your mum and even tho i have been watching your videos for a bit more than two months i have seen every video get a bit more views and i think next anniversary you will be celebrating your 100k subscriber count and i know it sounds like a dream but look at every other youtuber that is popular (its luck) but keep it up buddy
I love the Combiner Wars Megatron. It has its issues but I think it gets bonus points for having working tank treads. That’s such a rarity in Transformers toys and can only think of maybe two other toys that did that. It’s still my favorite G1 style Megatron to ever come out in retail.
Happy 2 Year Anniversary Perspective, this was great and I've been interested in seeing you redo those older "What's the Bests", I've also been tempted to get the Newage Comic Megatron for a bit and this definitely seals it.
Happy almost 2 year anniversary, I've been here for a year and a half, and I remember when you were at 700 subs (I think), so I'm glad to see you come so far. Looking forward to more great videos!
@@PerspectiveEnd I remember it was December 2020, and it was the Siege video, and I was like "Finally, someone else who prefers Siege Prime over Earthrise Prime!" and I've been here since.
It's actually because I removed him from the pile and stuck him on the other side of the light box because I wanted him in the shot for the least amount of time possible so he'd have the lowest chance of falling over and taking everyone with him, then I forgot about him.
dr lockdown showed me the appreciation and underatedness of legend class figures, ive done the number and for about 1500 dollars, i couldnt own the most accurate, well articulated and entire decepticon army (minus combaticons) for that price, their devastator partsforms as hell but the figures look very sexy and nice plus just yesterday i got a ko upscale bumblebee from newage (the first version) and it crushes cliffjumpER in almost every way (KBB KO Newage G1) thats his name btw
Yeah Legends figures are awesome, because they do so well for the price, plus the scale really lets you store them all with as little effort as possible.
Happy anniversary! You reviewed two figures I’ve been considering for a while, the comics new age Agamemnon and the make toys Megatron. Definitely convinced me that when I have some budget for it I’m going to get them.
Thank you so much! They are both great. The Make toys for sure is better, but the New Age also has a good Transformation which is amazing for a Gun Megatron.
i have the infinite transformations version of mp megs and i personally think its the best megs i've gotten its accurate to the sunbow charts (which are pretty much gonna have to be the definitive versions since the onscreen models changed drastically all the time) its got amazing articulation the quality is great the backpack is now clean (thanks to a panel) and the unpainted look helps him look cartoonish(i personally think matte unpainted plastic works the best in making figures look cartoonish then the stupid cheap af metallic paints takara uses to probably just bump the prices up) its not actually unpainted it just doesn't look painted which i think its good only issue is they cheaped out on the speaker in the fusion cannon
I don't collect MP style figures but have been very tempted to get the maketoys Megs, he just looks awesome. Shame Maketoys aren't really making figures much now, they do some great stuff. Their rioter despotron is a thing of beauty and is my best Megatron who's also my fave TF character. The MMC megs is great too
Happy Anniversary Perspective! I honestly love your honesty in all these figures but you did miss the ab crunch on MS Megatron but yeah I agree Newage is slightly better than it but if you decide to give Magic square another chance I recommend Jazz
Thank you so much. What, I'm trying to use an ab crunch right now while writing this response and nothing is moving. Oh my God I just tried again, and it like popped and moved, I think there maybe have been something stuck where it shouldnt have gone. I hadn't planned on giving up on them just yet, so I'll take that under advisement.
hap 2 yr anviesry blurr ok in all seriousness, happy 2 year anniversary, Perspective. You are my most favorite TFtuber, and I love the format of your videos.
Thank you so much! I'm still stunned to be anyone's favorite. I can't immagine how that never occurred to me as a possibility. So thank you for liking my stuff.
I love the Siege Megatron mold, but still hoping for a new mold in the 86 line. The designers already said that he’s going to be a tank rather than a gun, though.
This particular "argument" is a tough one really. Mostly because EVERYONE, has a specific Meg's they love or hate. I personally like MP-36, but i can understand why some people might not, I never transform him, he looks cool just sitting there, but i have the IT version too, and i keep that one in alt mode. Really want to get the new "Miner" Megatron version with Senator Ratbat, but we'll see if someone can do it better. I say everyones point is valid. You like what you like.
You are correct. Mine was stuck. I don't know how it was but it wouldn't move till someone told me about it, and I just cranked on it till I heard a crack and it moved.
Thank you so much, and yeah I get it, it would be cool to get one of those unfortunately 3P companies don't work in Hasbro's scale any more to not get sued.
Love your videos man. And happy birthday to the channel. Its already August 8th in Vietnam anyway lol. I've been following your channel for like a year now and enjoy every single videos you've made. Keep it up man
I know it isn’t a g1 megatron, but out of my (I think fourteen?) megatrons my favourite is the robots in disguise 2001 megatron. The robot mode is solid as a brick and posable too, the chrome looks beautiful, plastic feels amazing, and it has TEN MODES!!!!! 9 out of ten are really good, I think the only bad mode is the boat. But yeah, rid megatron is my definitive take on the character. Awesome video!
Honestly, I used to kind of defend the red figures, especially most of the g1 ones, because at least those looked pretty accurate. The. I picked up the flame toys idw megatron, and it truly dawned upon me how utterly trash they where. The flame toys model poses better than any other figure in my collection (as any non-transforming figure should), not to mention how fun it was to build, even for someone as inexperienced in building stuff of that nature. I love this figure so much that it has become my definitive g1 megatron, despite it not even being that guy. I recommend checking it out for anyone who was disappointed with the red megatron, or If you just want a sick interpretation of the idw version
This has been my point from the beginning, RED is a line that does none of what it sets out to do right. It's a truly hopeless line. Always wanted that Flame Toys Megatron, it looks pretty cool.
Happy birthday to your mother first and foremost, and happy birthday to your channel. Thank you for creating the glorious content that you do, You beautiful bastard 💜🤘💙
You should put 3rd party products on a separate list. Furthermore, the best Megatron figures are the Combiner Wars Leader-Class and The Last Knight Voyager-Class.
See I don't agree that they should be their own lists. This isn't "The best if you only look at half the competition" this is an attempt to find the best of all of them. And to be clear I have given Mainline Transformers the title of Best before, against MPs and 3Ps, so that just makes them stand all the prouder.
When a toy reviewer that’s a huge fan of your franchise punches, kicks, and throws a mallet at your best figure from your non transforming line, you know you made a critical mistake. Unless if you’re the jackass that leads the RED line.
@@PerspectiveEnd Also I Got A Version of the nitro mold (SS09 Thundercracker) And I Fricking Love That thing, But At The Same Time I Think it's The best Version of the Mold, and I Even Like the Transformation
I really, really hate the siege Megatron for more reasons than you listed. The Backpack isn't just big, it's ugly and boring. I have seen Megatrons with bigger backpacks, but they typically put like, jet boosters and/or guns on it to make it feel useful to the Robot, rather than lazy fucking kibble. But the siege just didn't give a flying fuck. The damn treads do basically NOTHING with transforming, so I can't see why they didn't do anything more to make them look cool or at least condense down?! Also, HE IS TOO. DAMN. SHORT!! I like my Megatron to be, at minimum, a head taller than my Optimus Prime. He should never be leader class (old term's meaning), but he should be one of the biggest voyagers. The siege was the smallest voyager class I owned for years! He was out heighted by everything, including both siege and earthrise Prime! I know scale isn't something most people care about, but that PISSED me off to no end. The head-sculpt is also so weird. It feels like a head from SS86, and while that usually doesn't bother me, Megatron is one of my favorite fictional characters ever made. This shit looks awful, and it only got 100000x worse in earthrise! Also, the partsforming isn't just bad in a lazy way (especially since you could have just made the fusion cannon transform), but it actually looks worse with the partsform gun on than off!! FUCK!!! The barrel sticks out, WAY too far, and always points down because of the weight! Plus, as you mentioned, the articulation kinda sucks. He's basically a Deluxe class figure that was oversized. I hate that toy!
It is a boring looking backpack yes. And yeah he is way too short, though I don't think he should be a head taller than Optimus, Optimus was built specifically to FIGHT Megatron they should be of similar builds. Yeah, back then I thought the head was perfect but over time it's started to feel weirder. Ehh, the parts forming isn't the worst I've seen, the ER did it worse. And yeah He's got big deluxe energy.
@@PerspectiveEnd while I did grow up watching my parent's DVDs and VHS tapes of the G1 show, I also grew up with Transformers Animated and the awful Michael Bay films around me, which are probably why I like my Megatron being so much taller. Plus, I think it makes him more intimidating. Also, the ultimate burn: deluxe class Impactor is a tank former, in the same exact line, who poses better, has a more fun transformation, AND HAS NO BACK KIBBLE. You LITERALLY could have upscaled the Impactor, remodeled his head, chest, and legs, and retool his arms so the fusion Canon wouldn't have to parts form at all! It was That. Fucking. Simple!!!
5:14 Supposedly Star Prominon by MMC is complete trash I don’t have it but it supposedly is easily breakable, has trash qc and has sliding transformation joints(which break down over-time, no matter how careful you are)
It's so ironic how dated that line about "Hasbro being shielded by magic the gathering money" since both Magic and DnD have caused a lot of money issues
@@PerspectiveEnd it honestly has made me realize especially with the HasLab/Hasbro Pulse program that Hasbro is really banking on Gi Joe and Transformers to maintain their bottom line
Happy birthday to your mom and channel I’ve been here around what’s the best bumblebee and have loved your content ever since and you make my day better and I hope both your mom and channel have many more birthdays
MP36 suffered from dumb design decisions. And it may not have started the trend of bad materials leading to breakages any & everywhere (MP05 Megatron 1.0 and MP09 Rodimus Prime), but it very much solidified the trend of bad materials leading to breaks that's gone all the way up to stop at Tigatron, Arcee/Nightbird, & Skids/ReBoost. Nevermind the breaks, did you experience any paint chipping? The Infinite Transformation KO used a certain kind of paint that has major durability, and the only issues I've had were a couple of the pins falling out for probably being too short to stay in securely. And yes, the NewAge "Agamenmnon" is a great lil' Legends sized Megatron.
Yeah this thing really kind of was the beginning of the hyper specific toon accuracy trend, that necessitated overly complex transformations. What's the Infinite Transformation KO? Yeah, I actually didn't remember how cool and fun that transformation was till I did it.
@@PerspectiveEnd Infinite Transformation's was called "Emperor of Destruction". Some say that IT was associated with or part of Black Mamba, who knows. But it was a pretty good KO nonetheless. Out of all the MP36 KOs, that's the one I'd probably recommend the most behind the Toy House Factory one, which was the first KO to have the additional G1 toy style face * well before Takara even announced the toy styled MP36+*. Though Toy House Factory since then also came out with a variant made almost exclusively of clear plastic...fuck that thing, something like that doesn't need to be made of clear plastic at all. Just ask Hasbro's Year of the Goat Masterpiece Soundwave and his Minions. There's also a KO by and/or called "Magten" that uses a metallic silver on the gray parts. And there was a straight up 1:1 KO that was every bit as bad as the Takara one...but at least the MP36 design didn't take almost two weeks to get done, unlike the atrocity upon all life that was MP05 Megatron (apparently, MP05 was designed in only 12 days)...
Came back to this video while hunting for videos of Jazz quotes from the G1 cartoon. TH-cam search results are weird as fuuuck.😮😮😮 "A full fledged Man From U.N.C.L.E. Mega-gat" is a thing I wonder howdafuq I didn't hear that the first time around!! 🤣🤣🤣 And I surprise myself that I didn't say that you're absolutely right about Maketoys Despotron givin' Dreamwave vibes. Especially that head sculpt. AAAAAAAAAAAAND...for all of MP36's flaws, MP5 is still exponentially worse.
I feel similarly about MP-36. It has a lot of issues. To anyone looking for a G1-style MP-scale Megatron that transforms into the proper Man from Uncle gun mode I'd advise them to go for Infinite Transformation IT-01 Emperor of Destruction instead. It's basically a (significantly improved) knockoff of MP-36 that is *slightly* taller and has a significantly better build quality. It also covers up his back much more nicely. Comes at a fraction of the price while basically doing basically everything better than the official MP-36. If I'd gotten it first I probably wouldn't even have bothered with the original MP-36 to begin with. It was the figure that taught me KO doesn't always necessarily mean inferior quality. Sometimes it's the exact opposite. :)
So glad I'm not the only one who really dislikes magic square doomsday. Recently been getting some flak for mentioning how bad he was, and MS fans are insisting "it's a style of transformation I don't understand". Nah I understand it. Other magic square releases did it well. Megatron is just bad.
Yeah it's just needlessly frustrating. It's like if you compacted the MP down into a Legends scale but made it a bit more flexible and there for a lot more fiddly.
That's what I've been saying! That's why I rated it so poorly, because they're incompatible engineering ideologies. But people keep insisting I "just don't get it".
I was talking about the Last Knight voyager class Megatron, not the leader class one. I feel like you’re confirming that to see if you’ve been hearing criticism about the wrong one. The leader class Megs from TLK is the one people complain about, and I have to agree. I don’t own it but I have a friend who still owns his and it’s hot trash. The voyager is probably the best movie Megatron figure there is, regardless of which movie toy line we’re talking about.
Dude that MP Megatron is so a KO. His face doesn't come with the official one. His faces include angry scream, battle damaged, maniacal laugh, and a blank stern face. Your KO includes a doofy grin. Not even MP-36+ comes with that. Plus the QC issues aren't as bad on the official one.
As far as I've ever seen yes the MP-36+ does infact come with that face, and it didn't break because the plastic is bad but because the design is bad. The Barrel extension got stuck on the barrel, and the barrel came off before the extension would. As for the Other part of him that broke, the screw just didn't enter properly so it didn't really bite into the plastic and it stripped it's way back out, and because it's a proprietary headless type of screw, it's impossible to fix my self because I can't screw it in. Neither of these are Due to KO type problems.
Remember? Congratulations Perspective Happy Birthday to you mom too The moment you said bold forms, I had a heart attack. They made a motormaster as well. You could check emgos video on that, and least to say, he was not impressed.
you reminded me that i also got a figure much later than i should have, but then years later when i finally had the oportunity and i got it, all i could think of is, "IDIOT; WHY THE HELL DID YOU WAIT SO LONG?" it wasnt just good, it wasnt just better, it is so close to what i like that right now its on my top ten, dotm human alliance basic icepick, a character that doesnt even exist in comics, the colors are a reference to noone, and the figure is well just scout/basic/legends size but it hits all the right notes for me
Yeah the mp screams a KO to me, reminds me of a MP blue streek ( or one of the other 2 characters that share this mold) I bought at a toy fair along a few years back. It fell to bits dispite it looking the part on the box as well. I've experienced KO's of both extremes, really good and God awful and I've heard this Megs being replicated even to the tiniest detail, including the box. Like me i think you got duped by the really convincing KO
Like I said, I've done literally everything to confirm weather or not it's a KO and it all 100% checked out, either they put a KO in an Official box or it's Official. I don't think I have because what is there to make you assume that. The fact that it broke, but it didn't break because of a Chintsey part, it broke because of a Horrible flaw in the design, and that's that the barrel gest stuck in the extension due to a tight fit. As for the other part that broke that was also an official part that just had the screw strip it's way back out of where it was held.
He did. I know. I know it's reputation, I've seen the reviews. I wanted to get this so I could say something nice about the company. I wanted to maybe give the toy designers one thing to be proud of for once, after it was so mercilessly shit on for years and financially ruined them.
Character-wise, it’s a tie between Animated and IDW Megs. Toy-wise, it’s a tie between Siege Megs and Selects Super Megatron (he makes a good IDW/Animated surrogate). Happy channel birthday and mother birthday, big guy!
@@PerspectiveEnd fair, it would be rather excessive to update the video just because one more entry has been granted existance, but I would like to see your opinions on the product when it's released. Also I did not expect my comment on a year-old video to get hearted lol
Someone on the TF subreddit said the next Haslab project should be a CHUG scaled gun Megatron to fit into the 84-86 collection. I don’t know if HasTak could bend the restriction that much, but if they could for that reason, that would be pretty cool. As-is, my favorite Megatron that I have is the Siege one. I recognize how cool the Combiner Wars one is as much as the next guy, but scale and aesthetic are the two biggest determining factors in whether I’ll buy something, and the Siege one fits both of those more than the CW one. And I actually think the h-tank mode works as a Cybertronian tank(although why they made the ER one as well is beyond me). It’s a flawed figure, but I like it. Side note: I ended up buying the Spoiler Pack Megatron and Skelevore when it was on sale for 17 dollars. And I’m glad I didn’t pay 50 cause it’s not worth that much. The Matrix bandolier and blast effects are the only part of that set I like. The Megatron paint scheme is somehow both metallic and dull, making it kind of weird compared to the original, and the Skelevore I ultimately have no use for as I have no other Fossilcons. I sold the Netflix wave 1 Megs, and I may just do that with this set as well. Edit cause I forgot to mention: Happy birthday to both the channel and your mom🎂🎂🎂
That would be really cool, and maybe that is how that would have to work considering they wont make those gun toy's for kids any more. I mean the H Tank does work, but it does come from a place of Lasyness. And as for the Two Factors that Megatron fulfills, what are they? Yeah that never looked all that impressive to me. And thank you so much!

But they don't really look that good, especially with all the bad Decos, and the Soapy Rubber they used instead of plastic.
Hi i have a combiner wars but the neck mushroom peg broke is there any way i can fix it?
Happy anniversary, without a doubt you're my favorite transformer youtuber
I'd probably out of the fandom if you werent here so thanks man
Thank you so much, I'm proud to be anyone's favorite, let alone so many.
Wow... I'm glad I could keep you around. What's pushing you away?
Happy 2 years (even tho I’ve only been here for about a year) You are like the only other Toytuber I watch every upload (the other is Ni Stuff)
Well that's been a good amount of time, one day you will be an OG of this channel, and I'm glad I can entertain you so much.
Thank's for sticking with me.
Speaking of mother’s birthdays, my mom has the same birthday as Peter Cullen
Nice!
I love the fact you hate the RED Megatron so much you are willing to punch it two times, kick it, and throw a mallet at it
Pure gold
I am good at comedy.
@@PerspectiveEnd yessss
First of all, happy birthday to your mom and happy channel anniversary. You have easyly become my favorite transformers reviewer here on TH-cam and i never miss any of your videos. They are all excelent and your personality and sense of humor is great too. I wish you all the best, everything you've achieved you absolutelly deserve. Keep up the good work!!!
Thank you so much!
Thank you again!
Thank you a Third time.
And I will do my very best.
Looking at the make toys, and it's transformation just makes sense
The Siege Netflix version is my favorite G1 style Megatron. The Generations Selects Super Megatron is my second favorite design of the Decepticon leader. Also happy anniversary to your TH-cam channel.
-Bold Form Gladius. What a surprise. That's a figure I haven't heard of in a long time. I remember that toy from that one JobbytheHong video.
Like the Winter Camo green one?
I think that's where everyone knows it from. I really wish I could have given that thing a bit of a redemption.
It’s crazy that your close to 10K!
Great work dude!
Indeed it is, Thank you so much.
Happy to have been here since the first review. Time flies
Thank you for sticking with me since the start. You had to have been damn near my first Sub for sure.
The last megatron for those who dont know, it turns into a gun and a tank, also question of the day how would you improve the tripple changer megatron (the one thag turns into a gun and tank)
Make it out of good materials and give it a good transformation
I’ve just started the video so I’m just assuming you’re referring to Bold Forms Gladius
He said in the video they should’ve had better plastic and QC
@@Cdr2002 yup
@@hassanrao470 better quality of materials still won't change heo the transformation works
Well I think it seemed like it had a pretty good transformation it's just the materials failed it.
I was always a fan of how big Megatron was compared to the autobots in Animated, so I might replace my Netflix Siege Megatron with the CW version as my definitive chug Megatron to recreate that. Newage and MakeToys are definitely on my watchlist now though
You mean like in terms of size?
The new age is like 60 bucks so it's pretty reasonable, despite being so small. And the MakeToys is so good.
Yeah, I love how the Decepticons towered over the Autobots, since it feels like they cared more about accurate vehicle to robot scale than say, g1. Starscream is a jet, of course he'd tower over a firetruck
Happy birthday perspectives mom!
Happy birthday perspectives channel!
Thank you so much!
If you are looking for something in the scale you prefer just go with the highest rated figure in the Scale you like, though these lists are very hard to complete because it's not like I have every instance of a character ever so don't go thinking if I didn't cover it it's not worth your time.
megatron is my all time FAVORITE Transformers character! great video man!
Thank you very much. Sorry I missed this comment for so long. Just realized I hadn't seen you for a while again.
How has it been over half a year since you commented?
I hope you are doing well.
Almost shed a tear when Despotron won your list. Even after all these years, he's such an amazing combo with MP-10.
It's so much fun, and they look so good together. I wish it was a little more accurate, but it's good enough.
Happy anniversary, I started watching this channel about the first year anniversary and its great to see how far it has come in a year both in gaining subscribers and the style of content
Thank you so much, glad to have kept you around so long.
happy birthday to your mum and even tho i have been watching your videos for a bit more than two months i have seen every video get a bit more views and i think next anniversary you will be celebrating your 100k subscriber count and i know it sounds like a dream but look at every other youtuber that is popular (its luck) but keep it up buddy
Thank you so much. I don't think I will be at 100K but I'd love to e wrong.
I love the Combiner Wars Megatron. It has its issues but I think it gets bonus points for having working tank treads. That’s such a rarity in Transformers toys and can only think of maybe two other toys that did that. It’s still my favorite G1 style Megatron to ever come out in retail.
Absolutely, it does get bonus points just for having a real tank feature like a good set of treads.
My GREATEST respects for this guy being the only one to be even slightly sympathetic to the Bold Forms Gladius, even if it doesn’t deserve it
I wish mine wasn't manufactured wrong. I really wanted to give that thing a more fair shake.
Congrats on 2 years of TH-cam!! My all time favorite Megatron figure remains the Henkei Megatron. :D Keep on being amazing.
Thank you so much! And is that the Nerf Gun one?
@@PerspectiveEnd You're welcome. Yes, it is the Nerf version, done in G1 Megatron's paint job.
Happy 2 year anniversary! I still remember thinking you were crazy for the ER overview. Now let’s get you to 10k!
Thank you so much!
I'm glad I managed to turn so many people around. I know that first video wasn't the best impression.
Happy 2 Year Anniversary Perspective, this was great and I've been interested in seeing you redo those older "What's the Bests", I've also been tempted to get the Newage Comic Megatron for a bit and this definitely seals it.
Thank you so much! Yeah, I've got a few more I really want to update. It actually has a fun transformation.
Happy almost 2 year anniversary, I've been here for a year and a half, and I remember when you were at 700 subs (I think), so I'm glad to see you come so far. Looking forward to more great videos!
I feel like you've been around even longer than that, and thank you for sticking with me all this time.
@@PerspectiveEnd I remember it was December 2020, and it was the Siege video, and I was like "Finally, someone else who prefers Siege Prime over Earthrise Prime!" and I've been here since.
I love how there is no Gladius on preview ,like he wasnt invited on megatron's party
It's actually because I removed him from the pile and stuck him on the other side of the light box because I wanted him in the shot for the least amount of time possible so he'd have the lowest chance of falling over and taking everyone with him, then I forgot about him.
Congratulations on 2 years! I wish you good fortune in your near future and beyond. Keep up the awesome work and thank you for the videos 🥳👍
Thank you so much. I'm just happy to have the opportunity to do this.
dr lockdown showed me the appreciation and underatedness of legend class figures, ive done the number and for about 1500 dollars, i couldnt own the most accurate, well articulated and entire decepticon army (minus combaticons) for that price, their devastator partsforms as hell but the figures look very sexy and nice
plus just yesterday i got a ko upscale bumblebee from newage (the first version) and it crushes cliffjumpER in almost every way (KBB KO Newage G1) thats his name btw
Yeah Legends figures are awesome, because they do so well for the price, plus the scale really lets you store them all with as little effort as possible.
I love the thumbnail on this vid! That's a megaton of Megatrons you got there, man.
Thankyou! and indeed it is. I've got more of other characters too.
That does look like it's probably the far better version of this mold.
I don't collect MP style figures but have been very tempted to get the maketoys Megs, he just looks awesome. Shame Maketoys aren't really making figures much now, they do some great stuff. Their rioter despotron is a thing of beauty and is my best Megatron who's also my fave TF character. The MMC megs is great too
Yeah I wish it was still in production so people could go out and get one more easily.
Happy birthday to your mother. She must have raised you well considering how great your vids are.
She did indeed. Thank you very much.

I still hope that will end up happening, but we will see, they really don't want to make him a gun any more.
Thank you for this I never would’ve looked twice at the maketoys but now I think I’ve found my mp megatron for my collection
It's Really Really fun.
Happy birthday of the channel, the birthday of mine isnt until like the 27th of august, funny that both of ours are in august
Yeah, that is a funny coincidence.
Magic square doomsday had a ab crunch
You are correct. Mine was stuck. I don't know how it was but it wouldn't move till someone told me about it, and I just cranked on it till I heard a crack and it moved.
Happy 2 Year Anniversary! I wish there was a good megatron that scales with my CHUG collection

I think Momspective it's a bit better. Sounds less like she's my wife.
Anyways thank you so much.
@@PerspectiveEnd ahhhh you’re right I wasn’t thinking abt that 😂
I know it isn’t a g1 megatron, but out of my (I think fourteen?) megatrons my favourite is the robots in disguise 2001 megatron.
Technically that's a Gigatron, and the characters really aren't similar, so I'd say that doesn't count.

Happy anniversary of the channel, and Happy Birthday Perspectiveend mom
Thank you so much!
Watch this channel from the beginning im so glad to see it grow
Thank you for sticking with me so long.
When a toy reviewer that’s a huge fan of your franchise punches, kicks, and throws a mallet at your best figure from your non transforming line, you know you made a critical mistake. Unless if you’re the jackass that leads the RED line.
At least it can withstand the Damage of a Mallet.
Happy 2nd birthday, it has been a great run and I hope we’ll for many more years to come, also I just picked up drag strip, and it did not disappoint
Glad to hear I didn't steer you wrong, and I plan for many more years to come.

Glad you enjoy that thing!
Fucking. Simple!!!
What's the best on my favorite Bot of all? I needed this today! Also, Happy Birthday to your, Ma.
I'm glad I could provide, and thank you I'll tell her.
Lets hope the leader armada megatron in legacy is even better than the one you already own
I'm sure it will be a Better Representation of that version of the character at least.
5:14 Supposedly Star Prominon by MMC is complete trash
I don’t have it but it supposedly is easily breakable, has trash qc and has sliding transformation joints(which break down over-time, no matter how careful you are)
It's so ironic how dated that line about "Hasbro being shielded by magic the gathering money" since both Magic and DnD have caused a lot of money issues
Yeah, that Aged rapidly and badly.
@@PerspectiveEnd it honestly has made me realize especially with the HasLab/Hasbro Pulse program that Hasbro is really banking on Gi Joe and Transformers to maintain their bottom line

Thank you so much.
I'm glad to have had you around so long.
And I surprise myself that I didn't say that you're absolutely right about Maketoys Despotron givin' Dreamwave vibes.

Alt title: Whats the best Megatron 2: Megaboogaloo
That's a Great name. Damn it.
Combiner Wars Megaton is one of my favorites and is seriously underrated!!!
I think so too, people give it a lot of shit.
Ahh! I didn't know there were two.
Neither of these are Due to KO type problems.
honestly the magic square Megatron should have been a masterpiece scale
Yeah that would really help that thing.
Maybe someday...
Remember?
Congratulations Perspective
Happy Birthday to you mom too

i love the flametoys megatron*he was my first chug scale megatron*
Is he also your first IDW figure?
@@PerspectiveEnd yes
you reminded me that i also got a figure much later than i should have, but then years later when i finally had the oportunity and i got it, all i could think of is, "IDIOT; WHY THE HELL DID YOU WAIT SO LONG?" it wasnt just good, it wasnt just better, it is so close to what i like that right now its on my top ten, dotm human alliance basic icepick, a character that doesnt even exist in comics, the colors are a reference to noone, and the figure is well just scout/basic/legends size but it hits all the right notes for me
People have recommended I get that before, honestly the Toy Only movie designs seem better than the actual movie designs to me.
@@PerspectiveEnd well, i still love studio series jolt, i love that design
Yikes, if only Jobby had advised you about Bold Forms Gladius
He did. I know. I know it's reputation, I've seen the reviews. I wanted to get this so I could say something nice about the company. I wanted to maybe give the toy designers one thing to be proud of for once, after it was so mercilessly shit on for years and financially ruined them.
Happy Channel Birthday she Actual Birthday Perspective End's Mom!

Character-wise, it’s a tie between Animated and IDW Megs. Toy-wise, it’s a tie between Siege Megs and Selects Super Megatron (he makes a good IDW/Animated surrogate).
Happy channel birthday and mother birthday, big guy!
Thank you so much!
And what's funny is when I think of IDW Megatrons holomater form I immagine it to have Animated's voice.
Tune in for part three when the yolopark entry is added
I don't know if I will bother with a Third one.
@@PerspectiveEnd fair, it would be rather excessive to update the video just because one more entry has been granted existance, but I would like to see your opinions on the product when it's released. Also I did not expect my comment on a year-old video to get hearted lol
Happy Birthday, Perspective End’s mom.
Thank you so much.
Of course.
Happy birthday Mom! You made a pretty awesome kid!
Thank you so much for the compliment... Just realized that sounds like I'm my mom.
Man Bold Forms depresses me. I wanted to see them improve but man that's..that stinks. Also it's funny, FNaF also started August 8th and was something that gave me an escape from the nonsense at school, and still an escape from the nonsense of the world rn. Your channel, also started on August 8th, gave me an escape during the madness that was 2020, and also the nonsense of the world. Funny of a coincidence as that is I legit wanna thank you man. It's been a great two years on this channel and I hope to see you continue to grow. Sappy as it sounds just know that what you're doing makes a difference for people. Thank you
I'm happy to have helped you out when ever I could in what ever little way I could.
And yeah, I really wish Bold Forms could have grown as a Company.
