318 curves in 11 miles. This is the one of the most famous motorcycle rides in the world. Visitors come from around the globe to ride this section of highway. While riding the transamerican trail across America i decided to stop and ride the Dragon. I had a blast, and i survived.

I’ve been to the Tail of The Dragon many times, on many bikes. I recently had the great pleasure to ride it with my son on his very first bike. I don’t go on weekends!

I met a tractor-trailer on The Gap one time. I guess he figured it was a shortcut! He was all the way over in my lane on a blind corner…and I was scraping knee pucks on the R6 when I saw him. Got on the brakes, stood it up and got stopped in the weeds on the far side! Took it to the track after that! 😅 Would be fun to go back on an Adventure bike and “just ride!”
