I watched that part a few times and it was difficult to see if there was a passenger. I would be shocked if the driver survived, but the car getting folded in half was clearly not in their favor.

Honestly, it doesn't matter how fast or slow the mustang was going! If I recall when I took my summer school drivers training class.. when approaching and on ramp and there is any vehicle on the on ramp to enter the highway we are to merge to the left to give them that lane. My honest opinion is that it's common courtesy to do so. But on the other hand with the POS cars that I've had to drive... My focus had some issues and still does.. but it wouldn't pick up speed for crap hence why I avoided all highways.. but once I got up over 40 I was good. Got that fixed but now it likes to over rev itself going into second gear or it's a slip in the transmission. Any who.. I find the truck driver at fault.. bc even if they couldn't merge left they could have slowed down..
@@shannonleslie9031the person that is merging into the flow of traffic’s responsibility to do so safely. Sometimes it’s not safe for a semi to get over. The mustang had an acceleration lane that he didn’t use at all.
If someone needs to make a left turn in a passing zone and there is no opposing traffic, would it not make more sense to slow down in the opposing lane and turn left than in the travel lane? This would allow traffic to pass on the right without the left turn conflict. This is something I question...
I have seen people do this and always appreciated the driver being that considerate. In my opinion, proper road design should make this a non-issue but I suppose many rural roads don't have the traffic volume to justify spending more $.
these company drivers, follow to close at higher speeds. eyes R not on the road. If they do have light minor contact with anything they let go of steering like a snowflake.

The HHR getting broadsided was brutal. If anyone was in the passenger seat they probably didn't survive.
For how far into the cab that semi went, the driver certainly didn't make it ... the head trauma alone! They were crushed... 😢
I don’t think the driver survived either

I guess the driver shouldn't have run the stop sign huh? I don't feel any sympathy for him/her at all.
With the amount of inept steering wheel holders out there, this channel will never run out of content.
Just when you thought traffic was bad, these trucks take it to a whole new level!
Wow, those truck mishaps really deliver a jolt-definitely not your average Sunday drive!

It may be that the cam is mounted above the wiper sweep area, I dunno.

Seeing the damage from this crash is a powerful reminder to avoid road rage. Please stay safe.
One thing I will say is almost every big rig around my area (Seattle) drives way too fast.

I watch these videos to remind me not to assume that they see you.lets all slow down and look as we drive.
