- Sometimes patience is the best course of action even when Twitch chat is yelling at you constantly to do the contrary. Let's face it - Twitch chat yells a lot of stuff all the time and very very rarely is any of it wise.

Few days ago chat thought Auchenai+Circle also hit opponent in the face and spammed 'Missed lethal' for a solid 2 minutes lol.

Things I've learned from Twitch chat and TH-cam comments so far:
- Zoo, Miracle and Shockadin require no skill to play.
- Freeze Mage, Control Warrior and Handlock are boring.
- Every Hunter player is an idiotic jerk.
- Only noobs who spend huge amounts of cash use Legendaries.
- Saying "Hello", "Well Played", "Thanks" or "Sorry" is showcasing very bad manners.
- Top players always make tons of poor playing decisions.
- Jaraxxus OP (that's why he's all over the metal right now).
Hence why I've become a mindless bot stuck at rank 20 with a horrible deck and why I'm giving the best available advice out there.

Wait for the people saying Priest games just take too long ;P.
Don't forget my favourite "playing safe is bad".
On the other hand, Freeze mage IS boring. Because it is a match-up entirely decided by what cards the opponent draws.
I'm not saying all these decks are Awesome McAwesome (not a fan of Freeze Mage either. Plus, it's an automatic loss against Warriors) but I've heard complaints against every single top meta deck. Because... because stuff apparently.cleaning the board when you could squeeze two extra points of damage is dumb. I mean, why would we want to win, right? ;)

...And this is the reason why Zoo is not effective in the higher ranks and is less prevalent.
EDIT: Wow ok, perhaps Trump did get very lucky and survived with 1 HP. But my point still stands, Zoo is a one trick pony, a timely AoE generally will make them run out of gas for a few turns, which is usually enough to turn the game around. Either way, Zoo gets about 50% winrate in those ranks, you win half of your games and lose half of your games, therefore you're not making any progress, that's why most people shift to other decks.

I am so sick of zoo, I hope some legend rank players figure out a counter zoo deck and I will play nothing except that.
Problem is, zoo is not really plaid at legend very much, so those that did would get creamed by the Druids and Miracles and Warriors, and not actually face zoo all that often.

I don't see how Miracles counter Zoo, miracle has little board presence, relying on spells and draw to last into late game leeroy, return, leeroy. With new death rattle cards in Zoo, miracle can no longer rely on spell to clear board.

Wow! I want to see more of this deck! Hardly see Priests in the high ranks. Amaz is the only one I know. This deck is even really close to mine. I just have a 2nd PW death instead of 2nd Shadow Priest and death knight in place of Sylvanis since I don't have her yet... I tried using Death Guards too, but they haven't worked well. Maybe I'm unlucky or using them wrong though. Interested seeing more of this deck.
Really? Priests are everywhere, and the are almost no vanilla priest players which is quite sad, they don't use quite patience that priest need to suceed. What rank are you ?
MrRagatzino not really playing ranked, highest i got was 10 quite some time ago. But watching streamers play I never see Priests used or played against. I see priests in low ranks, but none at the higher ranks.
Trump almost got to rank 1 legend with this deck, and he even got as far as rank 2 legend, but he eventually fell back to rank 114 legend. I believe yesterday, he decided to retire this deck for the time being. But if you want to see more of it, check his twitch. He had been streaming it for the past week or so.

The problem with priest your AoE is limited to a 2 card combo or a 5 cost consecrate.

How come Trump never plays in any of the Hearthstone tournaments? So many big ones have happened this year and Trump wasn't in any of them. Just curious.
I heard him say once that the prize pool is not worth the long travel. He could proably make the same amount of money or even more staying home streaming.
That was during Dreamhack summer (the prize pool was like 10,000$)

The reason zoo is so popular is because it is the most effective budget deck to climb the ladder with. The games also tend to end much faster than control or mid range decks. So as annoying as zoo can get not everyone has all the cards to play with and might need to create a consistent budget deck to use to get the gold needed to buy packs.
Unfortunately that is the price you pay when you rely on the F2P model. Blizzard does it better than most and it is a fair business model, but some people do not want to spend money to buy packs and will find the budget deck that is best suited to grinding for gold (which happens to be zoo).

I'm running explosive mage (explosive sheeps n removal creatures) and it shines against zoo decks and decks that rush creatures that cost too much mana and can be a tempo waste (meh copy his ragdos and kill his afterwards)

I remember just a couple days ago when Trump was rank 2 legend, and was on the verge of hitting rank 1. Good times, good times.
I have a plan when facing a zoolock and go like step 1: If u have wild pyromaniac and going second discard the three others cards until u have two cheap spells cards namely power word shield, silence, and/or smite, step 2: wait until the zoolock have three or more creatures on the field with three or less health, step 3:play wild pyromaniac then power word shield, coin, and smite the zoolock in the face equal to profitable board clear and if zoolock play zombie chow then u gain 5 health as a bonus profit.

Gannicus was a warlock that trump fought earlier and has since been given the title of meta visionary, he almost beat trump using wisp and magma rager IIRC.

This isnt related to the video but was just wondering if poison seeds + explosive sheep combo works like if you have sheep on board and you use poison seeds, does the sheep kill those 2/2 treants also or does the explosion trigger before?
MiGGoees I mean it has been 6 months so you probably have the answer by now but the explosion triggers before the treants spawn.
You probably already know the answer since this was 6 months ago but the answer is no. When you use poison seeds when an explosive sheep is present, the poison seeds will kill all minions, then the explosive sheep deathrattle will trigger and then the treants will appear.

koroshiya Lol. I just call it like I see it. If zoo can't be bothered to control the board against a priest (which relies heavily on having creatures survive a turn). Doesn't play around cards/class abilities, just play creatures, soulfire the face, and almost beat one of the top players in the world. Why even play? It's not a test of skill, foresight, or decision making. Just download the hearthcrawler bot. It's not going to hurt your win rate, and then people who actually think about how to play don't have to deal with lame ass warlock BM.

There's a difference between saying "zoo players are actually terrible hearthstone players" and "as is often the case, he was probably a mediocre player carried to higher ranks by the forgiving nature of Zoo"
The first one is arrogant and implies that every zoo player is bad, and that the guy who made the post is obviously better. I don't like that sort of "I'm better than everyone who plays zoo because this one zoo made a crucial mistake".
Don't act like you haven't made mistakes, and if you really want to prove that you're better than Zoo players, get to Legend, where Zoo mostly disappears.

i5m1thy ofc no personality is the same but attentiveness is the same in every living thing my friend. if you look at yourself close enough (and i dont mean in a mirror btw :P) you will see that your characteristics and your personality are only gradually less superficial than your outter appearance and that there is still something which is constantly underlying your every experience, be it thoughts, emotions, or your senses. this has been given many names but i think attentiveness is good for it because it shows that there is no mystery involved. going further i think its fair to argue that the only thing that is consistent throughout our every experience can be called our true self. now if every human could see himself in the other living things (especially in humans... weirdly enough we can often see ourselves easier in animals like dogs or cats) its easy to see this world would be a better place.

People who are inconsiderate don't care. Thinking they're the same or special makes no difference, to them life is dog-eat-dog at that moment and they're being the predator rather than the prey. Just noticed that black knight is the avatar on rank 2 because I got a golden black knight on my 2nd ever pack after the tutorial lol at first I was like "wtf is up with this card?" Because it's gold lol but not sure if it's really that good because it's battlecry is only useful for strong and buffed taunts

Trump did his math wrong he took four extra damage not three (But I agree with his plays).
Also I think it was the zoolocks greed that was his undoing he didn't play around auchnai circle and went full greed for the face even when he didnt have lethal, which allowed the blademaster to pop the egg that was stopping Trump from aoeing.

If they say "hi" at the very start of the game I don't think it's BM, but if they play like double flame imps or do it after they obliterate your board and get a very good start themselves I'm pretty sure they are just trying to piss you off.
I usually get ticked off almost no matter what emotes they use. On the other hand it feels good when others say "well played" when they lose, which is why I try to do it myself... but it's not that easy... much easier to get pissed off by their insane "luck".
Like when a shaman plays fire elemental and you have no taunt and can't kill it, next turn it's double flame tongue totems + double rockbiter and windfury, don't really feel like congratulating them at that point.

Zoo is no skill. Throw out minions - hope for a charge/spell dmg to finish. The only skill involved in Zoo is building the deck - and even then you can just search for it...

Zoo does take skill if you play it the way it was meant to be played. People think it's an aggro but really it was meant to be a control deck.
why are there people like you? There are decks that take a lot less skill than zoo like druid for example but no-one ever shit talks them, it's funny how I just play for fun so I don't rank up beyond 10 and almost every single time I see a zoo player they play the deck incorrectly and make many mistakes, how can the deck be easy when people can make so many mistakes? It might be somewhat forgiving of mistakes but that doesn't make it easy.
Zoo is the most cancerous braindead deck in the entire game and it is literally destroying it, hearthstone isn't fun anymore when 90% of games are against the same fucking deck, people need to get creative again and not take "the meta" too literally.

Trump turn 5: if you circle, opponent has a Nerubian 4/4 and squire(shield) 1/1, and Trump have with 18 hp.
opp turn 5: has Nerubian 5/5, squire(shield) 2/2, defender 2/3, sergant 2/1 + soulfire. Probably use squire on priestest. Trump has 5hp
Trump turn 6:holy fire the 5/5 back to 10hp.
opp turn 6: has squire 2/2, defender 2/3, sergant 2/1, imp 3/2. Trump has 4hp
Trump turn 7: holy nova leaves defender 2/1. Trump with heal is back to 8hp
opp turn 8: defender 2/1 + spider 1/2. Trump 6hp.
Trump turn 8: probably cabal the spider + heal. Trump 8hp
opp turn 9: has defender 2/1 and a new spider 1/2. Trump 6hp
Trump turn 9: kill defender with spider and maybe spider with cabal + heal back to 8hp
opp turn 10: 2 spiders 1/1
I barely see the differences. In both case, Trump wins, his way takes more risk but win faster. Can someone enlight me?
Ermm. How long did it take you to work that out.
It's because you're making multiple assumptions about optimal plays, many of which are not in fact optimal. Small things like buffing the Nerubian to a 5/5 which you wouldn't do as it makes it a bigger target for Holy Fire. You'd distribute the damage more evenly, buffing the Abusive and the Squire. Also, if you have only one Doomguard left, then pressure would be important, but you wouldn't go as nuts with it. The main priority in that situation is to keep the Priest clear because their healing gives them horrendously good trading against you. Additionally, Trump couldn't make those assumptions about the deck. He knew the guy had one Doomguard. He preferred the chances and he took them, and it was a fair play. Leave the minions on the board and variance gets far, far higher. Always go for the low variance play.
Any some say nothing can counter zoo. And in doing so you make yourself easy prey for other decks.

Semyon Galtsev priest decks work extremely well against zoo decks. I'm maybe a slightly below average casual player, and up until rank 12, I have a high when percentage against zoo.
Get Em Jones Wild pyromancer, power word shield, holy smite, holy nova, auchenai soulpriest/circle of healing. I know what you mean. For the first three turns zoo dumps there hand and then loses all of it and never get any board control after that.
Get Em Jones Yep. Priest is very strong against zoo. In this particular game though, Trump got extremely lucky that the lock didn't find a finisher among six cards.

Trump played that pretty risky. The opponent certainly overextended, but if he was running power overwhelming or got that other doomguard, it would have been very bad
