Pick a time when there is alot of people online like, 4pm - 12 american time (or 12 - 4am UK time. I seem to win alot of 8's in these hours.
See, stuff like that is why I hate arena (or rather it frustrates me to no end). I keep hearing people who say Arena is the true skill-based game mode... but to me it kinda feels like RNG is reigning supreme in there. That was my butthurt comment for today, thanks for listening.

This is a game based solely on luck of the draw. Any "skill" you think the game requires is actually only knowing probability, which is not a skill. Knowing to take a coin flip over a dice roll is NOT skill.

Saw this live and couldn't believe the Vanish turn, such wow.
I'd imagine you could stealth hogger or gruul and just slowly build a good board or creature
early stealth quest adventurer is scary
chenhui gao Earliest you could stealth questing is turn 4, and that would mean playing it with nothing (besides backstab and wisp) on turn 3. You'd have to be pretty lucky for the opponent to not have a single card in hand that can deal 2 damage. Sooo nah, late stealth questing is much better, like turn seven when you can do both at once.
lkjkhfggd Maybe you haven't seen this kind of play yet, but this play can get quite horrifying. questing adventurer shadow step at turn 3, and at turn 5, play questing adventurer again with stealth. coupled with preparation and few spells, such as backstab? GG
Sounds pretty cool in theory, but I've yet to see it happen. I've seen it done with a mana addict though. That actually seems easier.

bacon speck yeah, I run into fuckloads of 3+ flamestrike mages in arena.
SOMEHOW, whenever I pick mage myself, I only get 1 flamestrike or maybe even none.
Pretty much every time I play against mage I expect 1 flamestrike on turn 7, 1 on turn 8 and 1 on turn 9, and maybe even 1 on turn 10... And then pyroblast, of course.
Anyone else feel like the giants are OP? playing 0 cost 8/8s is pretty op lol
You'll only get them at 0 Mana if you are at 10 HP or below, and at that point you are almost dead anyway and are probably playing it as a desperation.
James Saunder that's why it's op. you can have 1 health and a giant + any taunt will save your life. And there is maybe 1 or 2 situations where double molten giant + argus won't save you. Molten giant should cost 25
I do. The decks that make the most out of Molten Giant like Warlocks, Rogues, and Warriors who tend to use up their health can put out two or three big creatures in a single turn late game through it's nonsense.
Comparatively, Sea Giant also fits the cheap bill when you're covering your board in cheap minions, something paladins and shaman's are naturally capable of. You could, in theory, place down five 8/8's, double molten double Sea and a regular cost minon, in a single turn. Um...a bit crazy no? The majority of classes can't deal with that.

Ryan Sullivan i feel the molten giant is like that so even if youre behind you at least have some chance to win instead of just totally giving up after getting wiped. it adds balance to the game

Been dieing to try combos like that with the Master of Disguise ever since I found out she was a thing... Stealth on some things could be very scary against someone that can't hit them.

Sylvester Holmes Mind Vision and Thoughtsteal can enable Stealth as a Priest; given that you stole a card that does so.
Copying are all bad cards. I don't know why people insist on taking something that is just as likely to give them a deadly poison or a murloc tide hunter as they are to get a fiery war axe.

Anytime a minion deals any kind of damage, it becomes unstealthed. This includes minions like rag and demolisher, and even fringe scenarios where one of the dumb ogres hits a stealthed minion and gets hurt back. AOE doesn't reveal because the minion did not deal damage.

I though when a minion's effect activated it removed stealth? Like a stealthed Ragnaros or Knife Juggler.
On my very first arena I had a Deathwing and a Twisting Nether as a Warlock and went 1-3 the dream
Try dealing with 3 of these games in a row....Went 0-3, all ridiculous drafts (and draws). By game 3 I was wondering how the game was still matching me with these opponents. Some bad luck on my part I guess. Interesting experience. Would love to see the final rounds with those decks!

Attention dolts: If he had ran the Argent Commander into the Rogue, the Rogues board would have killed him next turn.
I think he could have used soulpriest and farseer to kill giant intead of using argent commander to kill dragon to prevent lethal. Later he drew faceless which he might have used to copy argend commander and deal 8 damage to finish him off.

Nope, faceless is 5 mana, there wasn't enough mana to make that play.

I might be mistaken about the ways it works, but i remember that if you copy a minion it grants charge... (or is that the mage secret one?)
Faceless is it's own minion and does not have charge. The mage secret (Mirror Entity) does not grant charge either. To attack with a minion, it must be under your control since the beginning of your turn (Unless stolen by Shadow Madness for one turn). Since Mirror Entity happens on your opponent's turn, your copied minion is able to attack once your opponent passes since it has been under your control since the middle of your opponent's turn.

Tyler H he did have enough remaining mana to cast the earthen farseer alongside the argent commander to heal himself up to 29 and stay just out of lethal but who's to say the rogue wouldn't have had an answer.

As always whoever gets more of the OP cards in Arena wins.Funny enough imho this isnt even the worst case scenario.Try playing against a pally with 4 Truesilvers ,2 consecrates and 3 Avenging wraths among other cards.But yes Arena is so much more skill based than constructed *rolls eyes*.
enemy had 2hp and no taunt i had no cards in battlefield or hand so to kill him i needed a weapon but i get charge so next turn or weapon or minion would be my victory but i got freezed so guess what yes i get weapon next turn (i was warr)

Played a Warlock who had 3 molten Giants and Rag in Arena... Played arena 20+ times and still have never been able to draft more than 1 epic in arena and have never been given a Legendary. Arena is a fucking stupid game mode.

Stealth is broken when the minion deals damage, through any means, I tried stealthing a Demolisher, wich didn't wuite work.
TainakaRicchan Why? That sounds fantastic. Demolisher hiding away for the entire rest of the game (except mage flamestrike).
I have also found out that if your minion is stealthed then it does not trigger secrets (or atleast not the noble sacrifice pally secret haven't tried with any others) just thought that would be nice to share

When a minios deals damage the stealth is broken, this happens on ataack or acivated abilities. Demolisher breaks stealth the moment is throws it's keg. Stealthing a Priestess, armorshmith ir master swordsmith works, because the're abilities doen't dela damage.

The Rogue's deck is not like constructed at all. Swordsmith, Eleven Archer and Vanish? The Rogue was just a great player who made the most of the cards they had. You got outplayed here, Trump.
