When the hunter played that last highmane I would have stolen it with sylvanas and death. Since the last card was the unleash, having one 1/1 guy around wouldnt be that relevant. But there were many ways of playing.
It wasn't that well played considering how many mistakes he made, but it was brilliantly recovered.

If you're playing a rush deck, it's pretty safe to assume you'll lose if you don't win early '-'

Auchenai + Circle is affected by spellpower, so it does 5 damage with a azure drake on the field.

9:25 Actually, once the Auchenai is on the board, the spell damage DOES affect the damage on the Circle of Healing. Just not when using it for healing purposes. Same as how the spell power affects the damage on the Holy Nova but not the healing on Holy Nova.
Either way, Trump stumbled onto the objectively better play, as the Holy Nova would not have been nearly as useful as the Auch Circle combo the following turn, just wanted to point out how the mechanics work. :)

no the card still says heal not deal damage , it is +spell damage not +heal

Area010 You deal damage using a spell so it gets that spell damage. Try it out in game to see it in action.
you are right Circle+ A. soulpriest when spell damage +1 does 5 to all pretty sure about it, yet the text doesnt change

Circle of healing + auchenai actually is affected by spell damage, trump. It just doesn't show on the text, since the text will always say "heal".
I think that was the best game of hearthstone I have ever seen.
Circle of healing does have spell damage increase. The card will not show it because it does not read as damage but as a heal. A heal will not be affected by spell damage unless it is turned into a damaging spell.
Why didn't he just steal the savannah highmane with sylvanas+sw:d @ 11:40 ?
or to use PWS on ur wild pyro instead of unleash at least...
It didn't matter, but I was thinking the exact same thing. Also a bit dissapointed as to how he doesn't remember which cards the opponent played. Oh well, everyone has his bad days.
I was thinking the same thing, but he definitely made the right decision, the hunter probably wouldn't have been able to win anyway(since all he could get was 1, 1/1), but his play guaranteed the win.
I'd have still gone for the highmane.....

I'm kind of proud of him that he fled to arena after getting beaten up in constructed as I love arena and despise constructed. It only shows how fun arena is :) Having a crappy day in constructed? Don't worry! The arena is there to cheer you up and make you feel good.
After he dealt with the Highmane though, he knew the last card was UTH. Which meant he could have vastly sped things up by going Hyena + Houndmaster + self-heal (no extra net damage, as the two 1/1s wouldn't be able to penetrate the 4/4 taunt), though he was probably confident that his opponent would just quit.
circle of healing IS affected by spell damage once a auchenai soulpriest is on the board. I'm sure you know, but you were so busy theorycrafting.
actually if circle of healing's affect is changed to damage, if can be buffed by spell damage. i know it because i've done it before and killed my poor Auchenai.
Healing isn't affected by spell damage but damage is and soulpriest turns healing keyword into damage, so in short, spell damage does affect circle soulpriest!

Those were some next level plays right there.
the real deal here is that that looked like the puzzles series of amaz, with his priest deck
His memory seems poor sometimes. Kill command was used on the blademaster and the soulpriest but hes very worried about it near the end.
Clearly the last play should have been playing Sylvannas, then Shadow Word death on Sylvannas so you take his Highmane, then proceed to hit his face.
He needed to have no minions on the board to invalidate Unleash, though.
Onmur The hunter had one card in hand. Unleash would spawn one dog, hence only 3 dmg. Every play there would win the game.
as he said, he just didnt want him to play the hounds, but yes. he could do that as well.
but his play was more exciting :D

I would have been better if he played silvannas and shadow word death on the silvannas to steal the savannah highmane, but whatever
Trump's play was way more stylish and way waay more complicated than silvannas+shadow word death...
But still, he was so focused on not having anything on the board that he missed the obvious play! Would not blame him since he also tries to keep up with the chat... And tbh, i am glad he missed it, because that play was amazing!
thetrazor If he had PW:S his pyro he would stay with a creature on board + a new draw and the results would be the same, there was no reason to burn an unleash that last play. Unless he used it just to say "hey look what i stole!"

But in the end, both plays would have the same result, and i think trump just went with the first play he saw that accomplished what he wanted to do, and what he was aiming for was to keep the minions of the board so he could not play his unleash the hounds...
Stealing highmane: 100% win
Clearing the board: 100% win
You can't say A is more superior than B or vice versa...
Unless your argument is "tides would have conceded much earlier as soon as when he saw his highmane is stolen, thus time is saved"

I think the auchenai circle combo is affected by spell damage.
I call shenanigans on the title, no priest game is ordinary.
IT IS AFFECTED BY +SP THE CIRCLE, IF COMBINED WITH AUCHENAI.
SO BASICALLY THE RULE IS: IF HEAL NO SP; IF DMG YES SP.

If a hunter turn 2 hero powers you, you gotta heal, coin, holy smite the face. Let him know you aint gonna take that from him. He's being hunted now. Get with the meta trump.
The only thing that would've made this better is if he was bouncing between 2-4 at the end

Looks like I'm late to this party. Having heard trumps opinion on the card, I'm shocked that he's running Silverback Patriarch in this deck.
I thought kill command only deal 5 with friendly beasts?
Why not Sylvanas + SW: Death to steal his Scar? That would've won you even easier.. Not like it mattered in the end, but it might matter next time..
Coulda sped up the finish by Houndmastering your hyena. He obviously had nothing to combo with the hounds. Put him out of his misery instead of dragging the poor guy along until he conceded haha.
Also just fun to finish him with his own cards, of course :)

Actually quite surprised Trump miscounted the number of played Kill Commands so severely.
He tends to forget which cards have been played more often since he's playing dozens of Hearthstone games every day. He's said before that a lot of the time he can't remember if a certain play was in a previous game or the current one (which I've had happen myself just when watching his stuff).
Jake Taylor Happened to me today. I was thinking about reporting a bug where his copy of the card wasnt actually played but still was played. Then I realised he thoughtstole my sylvanas at turn 3 (he played it around turn 15-18 so I forgot) haha.
I don't understand why you didn't SW:D your own Sylvanas at 11:40. You had all the information and it seemed like the better play at the time, perhaps.

He already knew that it was unleash the hounds because the last two cards in the hunter's deck were unleash the hounds and houndmaster, and he had used the unknown cards and the houndmaster.

Nope, you were right first time, it would have only summoned one dog which he could have killed with Highmane and still healed out of lethal fine every turn, a perfectly fine play.

more Priest Trump. I know they aren't a high percentage win but they're so interactive with other decks it's fun to see how the game progresses. Priest wins are interesting wins most of the time.

Whats the advantage of having the 2 deathlords in this deck?
The chance of getting it early game is twice as big if you have 2 of them!
And they greatly increase your win rate against early game/aggro decks if you manage to get them out in time.
Edit: and it is also a very strong card against zoo!
yea but i mean, why not tazdingo? it is just for his good stats and cheaper cost?
Against a aggro deck the value you get out of deathlord is massive! a Zoo deck would get a 3 mana cost card on average (and often loose the value from battlecry), an agro would get even worse while the deathlord often trades 3-4+ cards for 1.
And since you can get it out early it will counter any "rushy" card, as a preast you get even more value since you have so many ways to heal it.

Senjin blocks two minions. Deathlord can block three, and versus aggro stuff, usually will. He summons a dude upon dying, so it's basically like blocking two, but the Priest can heal it for more value, and getting it out a turn sooner really makes a difference.
Against fast decks you probably want a better early game but a worse late game since later it's very easy to keep up with them. And this card basically borrows boardcontrol from the future when you need it less. At least in zoo. And it's good against miracle ofcourse^^
