- 5cylinder Turbos never get old, they just sound so good! I would have never expected this 850R to be making over 700whp, but after talking with the owner I was in awe. Cool to see something a little different than the norm.
All of your runs were VERIFIED legal start times and ran consistent all day. Out trapping other who may have started faster then you or ahead of you says it all.

As for the traps (mph wins):
Run 1 - 152 (me) vs 126 - Win
Run 2 - 144 vs 154 (me) - Win
Run 3 - 154 vs 157 (me) - Win
Run 4 - 149 vs 159 (me) - Win
Run 5 - 154 vs 159 (me) - Loss (This specific race was shootout, fastest ET wins)
Run 6 - 156 vs 154 (me) - Loss

Don't need big brakes when you have 170mph of air resistance slowing you down. Slows down fine from high speeds.

AWD coming this season :) Also those tires were 225/50 MT ET Street R. Not sure if I could find much of a gripper tire that is DOT approved.

Because the engine is out flowing the compressor MAP...
So it's just a really inefficient 69mm turbo@@123vaw123... Soo many people exceeding 700whp on sub 62mm turbos... Especially with 2.6L of displacement
At the time I though it was maxed... After reviewing logs I noticed i was having some issues with boost control and after peak torque I would loose 2 psi to redline. Also Im running way too much ign timing at peak torque giving the illusion its maxed. Its definitely has more in it.
The only problems he's having is traction and shifting. Imagine having a modern auto mated to that engine... Like a trans out of an Audi RS3

XSDUP rwd roll racing, racing it turns out nobody knows how it works. Here is a quick education. As long as both cars have a fair even start within 60-65mph it is first one through the trap. Otherwise technically the race doesn’t count and you’re racing yourself. In qualifying mph is typically used to decide the order.
It's a Civic tho. It should win. It has a power to weight advantage

Nice piece of car, but what i see there are 280mm rotors, dont be crazy man :D, i cooked it so many times with 850R 155KW stock. Its real hazard with this power :D, at least 302, will probably fit to 16 wheels from V70 II.

What are you talking about? There are no problems. That's the rolling burnout pit, im purposely hitting it off the rev limiter and not shifting to heat up the tires... Car ran consistent all day with no issues shifting and won 4/6 races spinning hard in 3rd. Mph wins, not who crosses the line first.

So in terms of trap speed you win 80% of the time, but in terms of an actual point-to-point race you lose 100% of the time.

your not seeing the start speeds of the other cars
no it won most of them, the idea is to have the highest speed at the end. If you look you will see the volvo is faster than most of the other cars towards the end of the course. Also you have to take the starting speed into account.

You must not be familiar with how these races work, but all were won by the volvo except 1. MPH wins and I was out trapping my competition by 10 mph. Anyone can buy a modern car and bolt some parts on, very few can design their own parts, build their own engines, tune their own engines and then race it ;)
