I have found stick traps the most durable and useful. You can use worms as bait and they don't go stale and birds can still be caught in the colder months (crickets work too). Great thing is that when they eventually break, you get some twine back. I usually get 4-6 set and baited and check them every day or two, which is less work intensive than the other types.
I don't remember if you mentioned anything about the mall in your main series (Which I'm going to rewatch after this since it's been a little bit and I want a refresher) but I have an idea based off of one of the stories I made in my own Zomboid game. So I attempted a Evacuation RP situation where the mall was the checkpoint. I spawned myself some soldiers and I got some Regular civilians set up doing small jobs along with a small sleeping area in the food court with some tents. Anyways, I set the Zombie population to high and the bandit frequency (and related stuff) higher, My own personal goal was to make it to two weeks and not die, And as this went I wrote some notes and a little story on the situation on the Knox county map note area. eventually there is no evacuation and I have to escape to the supposed military blockade at the edge of the exclusion zone, That part I haven't gotten to yet. I'm still stuck in a mall with zombies bashing down the doors and raiders exploiting the chaos. What I hope to do is get there with all the people and soldiers to the blockade but that's 20 people. Anyways, I don't want you to do this specifically, I just think the mall has a lot of potential. Cheers to the great story!
Deffo, We're working on episode 3's rework and we're also getting episode 10 written out. it's in the pipeline, just takes a little time. We're here to stay and The Knox Event series is what i enjoy doing the most.

@@overlordmgcover2262 awww thanks! it's nice to hear that we're catering to viewers like you too :) I was never keen on episode 3 for two reasons, the character as i wrote him and the length of the episode. i'm going to push it to a 20 minute episode so that you guys get an extra viewing and hopefully compensate for the lack of content in recently.
