Is it essential to strip the old car wax off first.

I have found that using a damp, well wrung-out short napped microfiber towel to apply helps give a smooth even application. Follow with a thicker fluffy buffy for removal. I use this technique for TW Seal&Shine and the FLEX sprays as well and find it to work well. If some high-spotting or streaking occurs, a separate damp towel on those areas will knock things back.
A little bit of those products go a long way as I find all 3 to have a fair amount of concentration.
Good demo - I like that green paint!

I use turtle wax super hard shell paste for many years now, been looking into trying some spray solution to speed up the process and this looks good, thanks for the review.

One of the best way to apply is to spray 2 times per panel such as door panel, if too much it can easily streak..and the durability DEPENDS on climate/weather in your own area/region, whether you park inside/outside.

This product is really good for a spray coating!! Also love the Trans-AM I had a 95 back in the day that I regret selling.

I used the Turtle wax hybrid ceramic and compared it to suds factory ceramic spray. Turtle wax was much easier to apply and better overall product. Once I use up my bottle I will definitely try the Griots Garage spray along with its car wash. I live in a tropical weather and park in a dusty area for work so I usually wash my car every 2-3 weeks and just reapply the Turtle wax. I know Oreillys carry both Griot garage products and turtle wax hybrid ceramic spray 🤙🏽

I think you will be happy with the griots products.

But the instruction says with the car are wet after shower it? Then apply and dry or is better that way this guy do?

This is a spray on sealant not a drying aid. Turtle wax wax and dry you spray on wet car. Thanks for watching

Isn't that front panel covered in swirls or scratches?

Yes the car probably needs repainted. It sat under a lean tube for about 10 years

What if I have a white car? Can I just spray/apply without buffing it off? Would it be better protection?

    • @DetailingwithChad
      @DetailingwithChad  หลายเดือนก่อน

No the buffing it off levels the product out. Even on a white vehicle you will see like a haze spots on car in different lights. Not as noticeable on white but still noticeable. More product doesn't have better protection but it does say on bottle that after 24 hours a second coat gives longer protection. Hope this helps.

Always let the first application dry to a haze on the entire vehicle. Then use a new microfiber towel to remove ceramic spray.

Man was this painful to watch.
You may want to watch a few channels and get some new advice to give for doing this type of work. I cringed nearly the entire video.
I’ve never seen ANY product put on that heavy. The TW is an excellent product yes but it hurts me that this wasn’t done correctly. I couldn’t even finish the video.

Thanks for the feedback but I didn't even use as much as the bottle recommended. The bottle recommended 2 sprays per panel and I only use one spray and I use a applicator to spread instead of two towels. But I will do more research.

@@DetailingwithChad I watched you literally soak a applicator pad and do a small section on the front of the car @ 7:20...saturated were your exact words.
