I’m so glad Holiday World got a shout out. It’s my easy number 1, with my #1 and #3 coasters. I didn’t think anyone else felt this way, but Voyage/Legend is such an underrated 1-2 punch. Thank you!
Made it to Carowinds for the first time last year and was disappointed with Copperhead Strike. Thought it was a bit overrated. On the other hand Afterburn was incredible and seems to be underrated, so it balanced out. Afterburn so far is the best B&M Invert I’ve ridden. Ahead of Raptor, two Batman clones, Patriot, and Banshee. Fury and Afterburn are the reasons I plan to make it back down there at some point.
@@justind4936 should definitely give copperhead another shot, it's my favorite in the park for diversity, hangtime, and ejector airtime. Also, afterburn is fantastic, but has one train that has a rattle that rivals any of the worst b&m rattles ever. Only ride the blue train for your sake if you go back
I had a dream the other night where I met you at Dollywood and we rode Lrod together a couple of times.. Then I woke up and was so disappointed cuz I totally thought It was real 😂
I think you can definitely consider enthusiast or “Thoosie” as another language and while I’m kind of embarrassed of my credit count, I educated myself and became near fluent in the language since languages are my thing and everything is kind of synergistic🎢😊🇫🇷🇯🇵🇰🇷 Wholeheartedly agree with the top 2 parks🙌🏻💛 Also peep Fuji Q Highland and RIP to ド・ドドンパ. I gave your video a like, mah man! Hey, thanks a lot for those nice words you gave to my home park. The past 5 years for that amusement park have been a GAME-CHANGER. We've got Skyrush, Storm Runner, Fahrenheit, and Great Bear. Fast-forward to today, and now have a new biggest roller coaster in the park's history, a better atmosphere, a new coaster we've been begging for years, and now... an update of the greatest roller coaster in the state that can make it BETTER THAN EVER! And that's not to mention you brought it up in the video: Hersheypark is one of those amusement parks on a pretty large scale... that actually listens to their guests! This is why I'm telling you, Marc! Hersheypark is a top-10 worthy amusement park in America at LEAST and nobody's allowed to argue with me on that. And for it to appear on this list ranked higher than the roller capital of the world???🤯🤯🤯🤯 This is why I liked this video and that we're friends. I'm looking forward to the next time we see each other and ride roller coasters together. I completely agree on KD and HP being the top 2 1-2 punches. For me, Hershey would take the lead (13 for HP, 20 for KD), but both have absolutely fantastic top end lineups of rides.

I think it got hyped to infinity for me and, although they have good rides, nothing wowed me like I thought it would other than Maverick and Magnum. Millie and Rougarou and great for what they are, Raptor was kinda mid for an invert, Valravn was basically as forceless as people say, SteVe severely disappointed me (it would take a whole paragraph to explain that probably), and everything else was about as advertised I guess. So idk, that's why I'm not really a fan of Cedar Point. And with the crowds it can get, that's just the icing on the cake for me to not care as much about revisiting (but man I do miss Maverick and Magnum, so I still want to go back)

SFNE had an offseason ACE event where the park president confirmed not only no planned changes to Superman's restraints, but they were "happy with the current ride experience" (to voluptuous boos). The T-bars ain't coming back. Not after the number of ejections the T-bars have caused on unrelated ride models. I would have taken the Skyrush option in a heartbeat, but it seems to be dead.
Number 1 for me is Alton Towers The Smiler (4) Nemesis (1) though I’ve not done Reborn yet. Thorpe Park could take the top spot this year with Stealth (3) and The Swarm (6) but Hyperia looks like it could take the top spot, or be very very close.
Nagashima Spa Land for me with Steel Dragon 2000 and Hakugei. But that's because I generally rank Steel Dragon higher than most. To me that ride is just iconic with the three hills lined up with their ridiculous height and the speed. For me it is what I think of when I hear the word rollercoaster.
Since I have only ridden coasters at five parks I will say my top three. 3. Chessington world of adventures, 16. 2. Alton towers, 6. 1. Thorpe park, 4.
I was shocked KD even made the list 🤣, but Intimidator is definitely an intense ride, and probably one of my favorite coasters. I've only ridden Skyrush twice, and I felt like it was more intense, but I've also ridden 305 so many times at this point that I'm probably biased at how intense it truly is.
Not the top but worthy of an honorable mention, Six Fags America has a great older Intamin - Superman: Ride of Steel and the 100 year old Wild One. Both not top tier but both classics of genre and the pair give you everything you want. Superman gives you massive speed and airtime, Wild One is a classic woodie with great laterals and unexpected airtime. Other great 1-2s worthy of ranking (obviously this is all subjective) Kennywood: Jack Rabbit, an old woodie with arguably the best ejector airtime moment of any coaster in the world. Phantoms Revenge, a very unique Hyper that intertwines with other coasters. Very fun. Knoebels: Phoenix and Twister, for a small family park, wow, just wow. And in autumn with the crisp air and change of color... you won't find a more scenic/beautiful ride experience.
@@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od I'm with you, all the woodies at KW are great but that unexpected double drop down ejector airtime moment (back seat) may be the greater ejector moment in all of coaster-dom. I'm big on view/scenery when I rate coasters so Phantom's interwining with the other coaters elevates it for me above the newer coasters there.
1 (tie) - IoA and Phantasialand, both with 12 points 3 - Busch Gardens Tampa with 13 points 4 - SFGAdv with 15 points 5 - Parque Warner Madrid with 20 points
3. Six Flags Magic Mountain (16) 2. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom (11) 1. Michigan’s Adventure (5) I’ve only ridden 10 coasters and those three parks are the only ones I’ve been to where I’ve ridden more than one.
I've only ridden 35 roller coasters so far, so I only have four parks in my personal list eligible for a 1-2 punch: 1) Holiday World - The Voyage & The Legend 2) Six Flags Over Georgia - Goliath & Twisted Cyclone 3) Carowinds - Fury 325 & Afterburn 4) Kings Dominion - Intimidator 305 & Volcano: The Blast Coaster. I know this one is defunct, but I haven't been to the park in over 10 years. Hopefully I'll get back soon to ride Twisted Timbers and re-ride whatever "Project 305" ends up being.
@HugeRMCFanBoY-bx3od I completely agree. It's highly overrated. It's still a good ride, though, and back then, it was still the second best ride in the park.
Definitely try and go back soon! Twisted Timbers is amazing, and it’s many people’s number 1 ride in the park. Project 305 is just the placeholder name for I305 until they come up for a new name and theme for it, but the coaster itself won’t change at all. I think the new B&M launched wing coaster will really elevate the KD experience once it’s completed in 2025.
I’m really surprised Six Flags New England is not on the list… They have one of the ultimate top twos in my opinion. Kings Dominion would be farther down my list, because I don’t find intimidator 305 as amazing as of most people do. I like the first drop and the speed hill but then it’s kinda like back-and-forth back-and-forth, and to me that’s “ok”. It is definitely the most intense coaster out there though, I just rank it much lower. Now when Volcano was there….
I don't live in california anymore but I'm still so sad CGA is closing :/ I grew up going to both SFDK and CGA and always loved CGA a little more despite it being way further away. Wish I got to ride Railblazer before moving states 😢
My favorite 1-2 punch park I've been so far is my home park six flags new England, but that might change this year, because I am going to kings dominion for my very first time this year! I can't wait to see how my body reacts to intimidator 305. I am so excited! I am going for one or two days between june 18th through june 27th.
There are a quite a few parks on this list that I wouldn't even consider having a 1-2 punch because they have more than just two punches. For example, Six Flags Magic Mountain has way more than just X2 and Twisted Colossus, Six Flags Fiesta Texas also has Superman: Krypton Coaster, Carowinds also has Thunder Striker and Afterburn, Universal's Islands of Adventure with Incredible Hulk Coaster, Six Flags Great Adventure with Nitro and the Jersey Devil Coaster, Hersheypark with Candymonium and Storm Runner, and Cedar Point with Millennium Force and Top Thrill 2 among other rides. Come to think of it, how was Six Flags New England with Wicked Cyclone and Superman: The Ride, Six Flags Mexico with Superman and Medusa, and Kentucky Kingdom with Lightning Run and Storm Chaser, and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom with Joker and Medusa not on the list?
Very surprised King's Island wasn't on this list, but then again, your preferences are pretty distinct. you didn't have a single inverted coaster in any top 2 mentioned here, so of course Banshee wouldn't factor into it. But clearly the best 1-2 punch is a vekoma Boomerang into an SLC
My Rankings 1 Six Flags New England 2 Cedar Point 3 Six Flags Magic Mountain 4 Kings Dominion 5 Busch Gardens Tampa (this 1-2 punch is heavily underrated) 6 Hersheypark (even though I find WR overrated I still chart put it low since skyrush is amazing) 7 Six Flags Fiesta Texas 8 California's Great America 9 Kings Island 10 Six Flags Over Georgia 11 Seaworld Orlando 12 Silver Dollar City 13 Kentucky Kingdom 14 Busch Gardens Willamsburg 15 Holiday World Honorable Mentions 16 Islands Of Adventure (barely doesn't make the list since Veloci coaster is overrated) 17 Carowinds (same thing as IOA) 18 Six Flags Great Adventure (the coaster lineup beats most of these parks but there's a massive dropoff imo 19 Dollywood (lightning rod is a top 10 coaster imo but after that nothing even makes my top 100) 20 Knott's Berry Farm

SeaWorld Orlando (41) - Mako (#12) & Kraken (#29) (Haven’t been since 2019 so I haven’t been on Pipeline or Ice Breaker) 8. Busch Gardens Tampa (38) - Kumba (#18) & Montu (#20) (Haven’t been since 2018 so no Iron Gwazi which would probably move this park up the list a lot more) 7. Busch Gardens Williamsburg (32) - Pantheon (#7) & Griffon (#25) 6. Six Flags New England (32) - Wicked Cyclone (#11) & Superman: The Ride (#21) (I know this and BGW have the same score but I feel like these too 2 are more even) 5. Six Flags Great Adventure (21) - El Toro (#4) & Kingda Ka (#17) 4. Hersheypark (19) - Wildcat’s Revenge (#9) & Skyrush (#10) 3. Kings Dominion (9) - I305 (#3) & Twisted Timbers (#6) 2. How the fuck is Six Flags New England not on here. Their 1-2 punch is literally the only thing theyre known for besides dueling Vekoma Boomerangs. Of course thats opinion cuz I have Superman and Wicked Cyclone both above I305 and Twisted Timbers. Ill never get the I305 hype. I find it doesnt actually DO anything. Maybe the people who pass out or grey out like it more? IDK. I like Airtime and there's none to be found. And I just have never liked Twisted Timbers. If not for Outlaw Run itd be my least favorite RMC besides ironically enough...Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster. That shit was ROUGH when I rode it

SFOG has a mirrored version of SFNE’s 1-2 punch. It’s a really good and solid 1-2 punch but it doesn’t stack up to what SFNE has. I would rank SFOG’s 1-2 punch either at #11 or #10
Considering the number of parks you’ve been to and the amount of coasters you’ve ridden your ranking videos are always interesting to watch. Have to admit I was surprised Silver Dollar City didn’t make the list with Outlaw Run and Time Traveler. It’d be interesting to see how much your ranking changes if you expand it to include the parks top 3 coasters.
Since we have very differnt taste in rollercoasters i was a bit suprised that we both have the same park at nr 1 for this category. Not that there was anything wrong with your other ones. Of the parks we both did i think only 3 wouldn't have made top 15 and of the parks i haven't done yet i suspect that all of them end up in my top 15.
I love the one-2 punches list. I've said it a billion times If Michigan's Adventure would bankroll an RMC Single rail, a Hyper GT-X better than Lightning Run, or perhaps a Great Lakes-themed B&M Surf or even a GP fan fave like a Dive, it would bring more positive attention to Michigan's Adventure. If Michigan's Adventure would just add one more coaster to join the brilliant Shivering Timbers, people on a coaster tour from Six Flag's Great America to Cedar Point, might venture a couple hours north for a $55 admission bill, instead of just driving east or west. But that's just me, maybe the company doesn't desire to make extra money in the long term. Speaking of Cedar Point - I predict that TT2 and Stevie might be in your Top 10 or Top 5, stay tuned. I went to Fiesta Texas for the first time last week, and unfortunately Wonder Woman was down. I still had fun at the park. But without the second half of the one two punch it was a bit of a letdown
You won’t believe me, but me, my brother, comm, cousin and grandma seriously did got to Poland *just* for Energylandia! Granted we were already in Czechia for visiting family, but we really went to straight from the train station in Katowice, to a van to Zator had 2 days in the park, and went straight back to Czechia the next day 😂 Also, I’m incredibly lucky that Kings Dominion is my home park. I totally agree that it’s the best 1-2 punch, and I’m going to the preview night tomorrow!
After SteVe my 2nd favourite at Cedar Point is Millie with or without TTD. I'm planning to visit Holiday World for the 1st time this year, but if I don't I'll either visit Hershey Park or Kings Dominion. Thanks for posting!
I would recommend doing Cedar Point one day and then go to Kings Island for a day, then the next day, travel one hour south to Louisville for that one-two Kentucky Kingdom Punch of Lightning Run and RMC's Storm Chaser. After that, one hour west lies Holiday World. Three days, 4 parks - Do it up!
@@ScottyMania313 I've already done Cedar Point in 2018 and Kings Island last year. I'll go back to them again eventually I'm sure. I've also visited SFMM, SFGA N.J, SFGA ILL, Knott's Nickelodeon Universe N.J., Coney Island and Deno's Wonderwheel, Carowinds and California's Great America.
I love that Islands of Adventure made the list because I feel like I see a lot of enthusiasts overlook Hagrid’s because it’s a family coaster, but the experience is still SO GOOD

I agree copperhead strike can be temperamental, but this year so far it seems to be running incredibly well!

Assuming Gwazi is his number 1 coaster, that must mean Montu is high 90s at least to not make this list
His Number 1 is Ride to Happiness, but I guess Iron Gwazi is still top 10
SFMM - X2 and Tatsu deliver a true 1-2 PUNCH. The best duo in existence!
The thing I love about SFMM is that you could have several top 1/2 punches and they would all make sense. I have four coasters from there in my top 20

I don’t love Superman: The Ride as much as some others do, so Six Flags New England couldn’t crash the top 15 unfortunately

Superman with T-bars was the best coaster ever. I feel bad for those who didnt get the chance. I have those 2002 rides over Steel V and I Gwazi
I don't think I got it with the original T-bars, but definitely with the modified T-bars that ran between the accident and the Bizarro retheme.
For me its Cedar point (Raptor and Maverick), KD (i305 and TT), Kennywood(SC and PR), Hershey(WR and Candymonium), and BGT(IG and Montu)

At this point Cedar Point is like a 1-2-3-4-5 punch with SteVe, Mav, Raptor, Millenium Force, and TT2.
Number 1 for me is Alton Towers The Smiler (4) Nemesis (1) though I’ve not done Reborn yet. Thorpe Park could take the top spot this year with Stealth (3) and The Swarm (6) but Hyperia looks like it could take the top spot, or be very very close.
Interested to see if Thorpe Park’s 1-2 punch can overcome Alton Tower’s this year 🤔

Nagashima Spa Land for me with Steel Dragon 2000 and Hakugei. But that's because I generally rank Steel Dragon higher than most. To me that ride is just iconic with the three hills lined up with their ridiculous height and the speed. For me it is what I think of when I hear the word rollercoaster.

The real 1-2 punch of Busch Gardens Tampa is Iron Gwazy and Falcon's Fury, but drop towers don't meet the criteria..

I was shocked KD even made the list 🤣, but Intimidator is definitely an intense ride, and probably one of my favorite coasters. I've only ridden Skyrush twice, and I felt like it was more intense, but I've also ridden 305 so many times at this point that I'm probably biased at how intense it truly is.
Not the top but worthy of an honorable mention, Six Fags America has a great older Intamin - Superman: Ride of Steel and the 100 year old Wild One. Both not top tier but both classics of genre and the pair give you everything you want. Superman gives you massive speed and airtime, Wild One is a classic woodie with great laterals and unexpected airtime.
Other great 1-2s worthy of ranking (obviously this is all subjective)
Kennywood: Jack Rabbit, an old woodie with arguably the best ejector airtime moment of any coaster in the world. Phantoms Revenge, a very unique Hyper that intertwines with other coasters. Very fun.
Knoebels: Phoenix and Twister, for a small family park, wow, just wow. And in autumn with the crisp air and change of color... you won't find a more scenic/beautiful ride experience.
Great mentions, but my top 2 at each of those parks are different from yours which is interesting!
Your top 2 at kennywood is jack rabbit and phantoms revenge 💀 for me jack rabbit is easily the worst woodie there

I'm big on view/scenery when I rate coasters so Phantom's interwining with the other coaters elevates it for me above the newer coasters there.
1 (tie) - IoA and Phantasialand, both with 12 points
3 - Busch Gardens Tampa with 13 points
4 - SFGAdv with 15 points
5 - Parque Warner Madrid with 20 points

1) Holiday World - The Voyage & The Legend
2) Six Flags Over Georgia - Goliath & Twisted Cyclone
3) Carowinds - Fury 325 & Afterburn
4) Kings Dominion - Intimidator 305 & Volcano: The Blast Coaster. I know this one is defunct, but I haven't been to the park in over 10 years. Hopefully I'll get back soon to ride Twisted Timbers and re-ride whatever "Project 305" ends up being.

Definitely try and go back soon! Twisted Timbers is amazing, and it’s many people’s number 1 ride in the park.
Project 305 is just the placeholder name for I305 until they come up for a new name and theme for it, but the coaster itself won’t change at all. I think the new B&M launched wing coaster will really elevate the KD experience once it’s completed in 2025.
Hopefully Top Thrill 2 will put my home park Cedar Point back to the top
A 1-2 coaster punch I want to do sometime is at Kennywood with Phantoms Revenge and Steel Curtain.

I’m really surprised Six Flags New England is not on the list… They have one of the ultimate top twos in my opinion. Kings Dominion would be farther down my list, because I don’t find intimidator 305 as amazing as of most people do. I like the first drop and the speed hill but then it’s kinda like back-and-forth back-and-forth, and to me that’s “ok”. It is definitely the most intense coaster out there though, I just rank it much lower. Now when Volcano was there….

My favorite 1-2 punch park I've been so far is my home park six flags new England, but that might change this year, because I am going to kings dominion for my very first time this year! I can't wait to see how my body reacts to intimidator 305. I am so excited! I am going for one or two days between june 18th through june 27th.

There are a quite a few parks on this list that I wouldn't even consider having a 1-2 punch because they have more than just two punches. For example, Six Flags Magic Mountain has way more than just X2 and Twisted Colossus, Six Flags Fiesta Texas also has Superman: Krypton Coaster, Carowinds also has Thunder Striker and Afterburn, Universal's Islands of Adventure with Incredible Hulk Coaster, Six Flags Great Adventure with Nitro and the Jersey Devil Coaster, Hersheypark with Candymonium and Storm Runner, and Cedar Point with Millennium Force and Top Thrill 2 among other rides. Come to think of it, how was Six Flags New England with Wicked Cyclone and Superman: The Ride, Six Flags Mexico with Superman and Medusa, and Kentucky Kingdom with Lightning Run and Storm Chaser, and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom with Joker and Medusa not on the list?

Very surprised King's Island wasn't on this list, but then again, your preferences are pretty distinct. you didn't have a single inverted coaster in any top 2 mentioned here, so of course Banshee wouldn't factor into it.

How the fuck is Six Flags New England not on here. Their 1-2 punch is literally the only thing theyre known for besides dueling Vekoma Boomerangs.
Of course thats opinion cuz I have Superman and Wicked Cyclone both above I305 and Twisted Timbers. Ill never get the I305 hype. I find it doesnt actually DO anything. Maybe the people who pass out or grey out like it more? IDK. I like Airtime and there's none to be found.
And I just have never liked Twisted Timbers. If not for Outlaw Run itd be my least favorite RMC besides ironically enough...Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster. That shit was ROUGH when I rode it

SFOG has a mirrored version of SFNE’s 1-2 punch. It’s a really good and solid 1-2 punch but it doesn’t stack up to what SFNE has. I would rank SFOG’s 1-2 punch either at #11 or #10

Have to admit I was surprised Silver Dollar City didn’t make the list with Outlaw Run and Time Traveler.

Phantasialand (69 acres) is half the size of Holiday World (125 acres)
Since we have very differnt taste in rollercoasters i was a bit suprised that we both have the same park at nr 1 for this category. Not that there was anything wrong with your other ones. Of the parks we both did i think only 3 wouldn't have made top 15 and of the parks i haven't done yet i suspect that all of them end up in my top 15.
My best 1-2 punch coaster thing i’ve been on is at plopsaland, anubis the ride has a really great launch and the same with rth

I love the one-2 punches list. I've said it a billion times If Michigan's Adventure would bankroll an RMC Single rail, a Hyper GT-X better than Lightning Run, or perhaps a Great Lakes-themed B&M Surf or even a GP fan fave like a Dive, it would bring more positive attention to Michigan's Adventure.
If Michigan's Adventure would just add one more coaster to join the brilliant Shivering Timbers, people on a coaster tour from Six Flag's Great America to Cedar Point, might venture a couple hours north for a $55 admission bill, instead of just driving east or west. But that's just me, maybe the company doesn't desire to make extra money in the long term.
Speaking of Cedar Point - I predict that TT2 and Stevie might be in your Top 10 or Top 5, stay tuned. Great vid.

Superman: The Ride isn’t near my top 50. It’s a top 100 coaster, but I don’t like it as much as some people. Still a fabulous 1-2 punch!
I went to Fiesta Texas for the first time last week, and unfortunately Wonder Woman was down. I still had fun at the park. But without the second half of the one two punch it was a bit of a letdown

You won’t believe me, but me, my brother, comm, cousin and grandma seriously did got to Poland *just* for Energylandia! Granted we were already in Czechia for visiting family, but we really went to straight from the train station in Katowice, to a van to Zator had 2 days in the park, and went straight back to Czechia the next day 😂
Also, I’m incredibly lucky that Kings Dominion is my home park. I totally agree that it’s the best 1-2 punch, and I’m going to the preview night tomorrow!

I would recommend doing Cedar Point one day and then go to Kings Island for a day, then the next day, travel one hour south to Louisville for that one-two Kentucky Kingdom Punch of Lightning Run and RMC's Storm Chaser. After that, one hour west lies Holiday World. Three days, 4 parks - Do it up!
