Every time I’ve done trimless Voyage, I’ve done it up front, and it’s nothing short of incredible. The speed is unparalleled
It’s hard to get Voyage in the back, but the airtime in the tunnel feels endless without the trims!
I've experienced 2021 Hollowood Nights and it was ridiculous even without Thunderbird
HWN is such a lifegoal. But kinda hard to get to especially for us European thoosies🥲

I so miss my younger days - my COASTER days. There is so much new technology I never got to experience, and health issues prevent it now. Still, I am enjoying your videos. You just seem so excited and take such genuine joy in riding, it makes me happy. Thanks, and keep on riding! 🤘🤘

I've been in the hobby of wooden coasters since 1981 & have had the honor of riding Texas Cyclone, Riverside Cyclone, Texas Giant, Rattler, Mr Twister, the incredible Idora Park Wildcat and the powerful La Montana Rusa, before these coasters were modified & tamed. They are my 7 "ultimate" roller coasters. _Then I rode Voyage._ Instantly, coaster riding for me went to another level! Everything changed. No coaster can even _approach_ the intensity of Voyage! Especially AT NIGHT. I rode it 37 times in two days in 2022, five of those _in the dark_ (only because HW closed soon after dark). I've pondered; "exactly what in the world happens to Voyage after dark?" It was _much_ more intense. No operating coaster compares to Voyage in the dark. Texas Cyclone is still my all-time #1, Phoenix is my _personal_ favorite since I grew up riding The Rocket & helped move it to Knoebels, but Voyage is the most insane. Sometimes I wonder how this coaster is even legal. And, yes, Legend is better than ever, off a fresh retracking recently, I love it! I hated Legend when new, it was quite rough with horrible Gerstlauer trains (like on The Boss). Raven I'm not so crazy about. I rode it it's first few years & it had buzz bars like Phoenix & no headrests. Awesome ride & it was my #1 coaster for a while, then that lady killed herself on it & Raven got ratcheting lap bars. It's still a great ride, I just loved it too much with buzz bars, which made the ride way better. Voyage is highest-level coasting! Great video!
This gets me even more excited to eventually go! Voyage is the #1 coaster I want to ride that I haven't yet. I'm a new coaster enthusiast, newly over my fear of roller coasters. I've been loving it!

Tears are literally in my eyes. I attended this event from day one when only the Raven stood alone all the way through 2010. I currently live in the UAE and your enthusiasm took me back, enjoying coaster runs with the late great Will, at the time the owner of the park. Thanks a million!

0:19 I live about an hour away from Santa Clause and I go to Holiday World at least once a season and this is still my reaction to seeing that water tower. I love this park, it is my happy place.
I need to go back. Yeah, the water coasters are the sleeper hit of the park, especially a good ride on Mammoth. But nothing beats trimless Voyage at night
I grew up in the area so I got to visit this park since 1986. The Raven was my 1st roller coaster ever. Wildebeest is my #1 ride inn the whole park

The best roller coaster ride I’ve ever gotten was a rain ride on Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom last summer.
If I remember right there’s also a girls only cycle. At least that’s what they did a few years ago when i wen to HWN
Raven > Legend. It’s been a long while but Raven is better for me. Thunderbird is underrated, but that park could use one more amazing steep coaster. Even a venoma boomerang(not a family coaster) would help.
This is my next yesr plan. Tomorrow I'm flying from Vancouver to my 1st visit to Kings Island then spending 4 12 hour days there June 6th through 9th and flying home the next day.

I’ve always wanted to go, but at the same time since it’s just a hassle to get reservations and it sells out within minutes, I don’t think it justifies it, I’m sure it’ll be worth it despite there’s always one case of drama there every year, and from what I’ve seen online every year, the energy is like a sporting event. It truly is the Super Bowl, World Series (pro baseball championship) NBA Finals (pro basketball championship series), and Stanley Cup Finals (pro ice hockey championship series) of coaster enthusiast events (although Coaster Con may be up for debate, but it’s more like the World Series, NBA Finals and Stanley Cup Finals since it’s a series of parks/games in multiple cities/states, whereas Holiwood Nights only happens 2 nights of the year so it’s more like the Super Bowl since it’s only 1 game, and that short time makes it even more special and has people raving about it more).

Holiday World is my home park yet I've never been to Holiwood Nights. I was there during the day on Friday.
It was just a perfect adventure of a weekend. Incredible…somehow, trimless Voyage night rides lived up to the hype.

General question - how did you go about recording with a camera? Chest mount? Also what extra steps did you go through to get permission to do so since cameras are restricted there on rides. Just interested myself in recording on the 4 coasters.

Start Using Turo For Rental Cars . Very Flexible Options On what You Want. Only issue is under 26 Has a fee.

I wanted to go but its like 70 miles from the airport and did not wanna pay an 80 dollar uber ride! Ill aim for next year when i have my license!
Yeah, unfortunately uber is never really an option for Holiday World. It’s not getting there thats the issue, it’s getting out of Santa Claus.

Hey I love your videos ,you do a great job. I also love coasters but I do have a fear of them too especially tall and steep ones . You have ridden both nitro and candymonium and both skyrush and el toro . I have ridden nitro and el toro ,not skyrush or candy . How does el toro and skyrush compare with the steepness of the LIFTHILL not the drop or candy and nitro again the steepness of the lift hill not the drop . I know it sounds crazy but steep and high lift hill scare me not so much drops and the rest of the ride. Would you have an idea how steep el toros or nitro lift hill is so I can compare. I know 1305 and millennium force is 45 degrees but I can't find the answer for a lot of others. As I said love your videos and you seem to be the coaster expert so you may know

It's too bad this event isn't at a park like Magic Mountain or Hersheypark with more rides. Holiday World just doesn't have enough to do to make me want to make return visits.
The theme park combined with the water park gives you tons to do during the event. Not to mention, you have ERT on three of the best wooden roller coasters on the planet.
@CoasterDash it's still a terrible park, they have a manger scene out front and protrey Jesus as a white man
