This is brilliant! So in fact the "whip" never even happened because she asked another question! She bribed the dog and there was no struggle - she changed the outcome! Amazing!

Exactly! Her original question asked how it would go and she didn't like what she saw. We could say that the Stork as the last card told her that something had to change. She asked what and got her answer and that answer saved the day - and her back! LOL

This is such a good advice. If I’m uncertain with the three card spread, I had the tendency to turn it into a nine card spread and see it all in context, but asking a further question seems much better.

Thank you, Eduardo. Give it a try. It keeps your energy fresh so you don't get stuck in spending too much time on one question. And it seems that every new question brings a new perspective.

Oh, Lisa, I missed the notification about this video, my life partner and I were grocery shopping.
However, when looking for a particular TH-cam video, I saw that this was published two hours ago, so the first chance I got, I watched it.
First, great video as usual. I AM curious about if there are other cards that, when they are the last card, to ask another/different question.
Also, I could not help but notice that it looked like the Bear was looking at the Fish. I have watched videos and movies featuring bears eating fish, and that was where my mind went when I noticed that.
Thank you for another great, entertaining and very educational video.

Yes, I noticed the Bear looking at the Fish too - hunting - hungry! The Coffin is another card that as the last card often leads to another immediate question - what happens after the end? Sometimes, the Ship when it's heading out to sea and not facing another card leads to another question - same with the Rider if it's not facing anything. And, you're welcome for the video and thanks as always for your conversation! 🙂

Thank you for the video. I would indeed have drawn a 4th card. But not anymore from now on 😄

Lisa, as for the fish, when they come up in a relationship spread, i am always confused whether to see it as 'free and having more fish in the sea' or as 'deep feelings'. It could mean both things but they are so contradictory

That's why we don't read Lenormand cards in isolation as we can do with oracle, tarot, and even the Grand Jeu. We need clusters of cards to form complete thoughts. Next, keep in mind the core essence of the card - what's your primary vibe? Is it positive or neutral or negative? If the other cards are neutral or positive and your primary vibe is positive, the card retains its positive meaning. The more you play with these cards, the more you'll come to see why the grand tableau really is the best way to use them - to be able to see what cards group together and where they are in relation to the seeker's card and other life area cards while also seeing the paths of cards between them gives you a complete story with no unanswered questions.

I recently had the stork show up at the end of a relationship question. They wanted to know if she would come back. I got the coffin woman and stork. I ended up telling the client that this looked like a dead end relationship and that it was likely she would be moving on. However, because I know the stork also can mean coming and going, leaving the nest and coming back, it definitely threw me off despite the finality of the coffin. I ended up saying that if she did come back it would be a revolving door of her coming and going, too flighty to commit long term. It’s still bugging me though. I’m hoping my client will follow up and let me know how things turn out. Would love any additional insights from other readers if you’d like to chime in.

I actually love what you saw in that Stork card! And, it rings true for me. But, think of it this way - that Stork left you uncertain and you're still bugged by it. That's because it left you asking another question that you didn't answer. Maybe that's the reason the Stork lands at the end of the line - to get us to ask another question. Small spreads are only suitable for very specific questions with known context or for fun and learning as with daily draws. Asking if someone will return isn't really specific. Return to get their stuff - for another discussion/argument - for another attempt to find happiness when it will never last? There's more truth in what you saw in that stork card than you realize! But, you could've satisfied your curiosity if you'd drawn a few more cards at that time. If you aren't satisfied with the answer you got - if you're still asking questions in your mind - ask them of the cards! 🤩

I can, but think of it in a similar way to the Stork falling last. A line ending in the Ways is ending in a decision or the need to make a decision. It can also tell you to go a different way than you're asking or thinking about. For example, if I asked, is it a good idea for me to buy that new deck today? and I drew the Fish-Bear-Ways, it's telling me to protect my money and go another way/take an alternative path. In other words, the answer is no.
