Lisa - thank you so much for this message! It popped up in my notifications at just the right moment. Along with your videos being helpful + informative ( _seriously, thank you_ ), they're also *very in sync* with what's going on energetically, in the collective. I _just_ put down a *Grand Tableau* for myself a few hours ago. I let it sit for a while + I came back to it. I had almost *_all_* of these combinations in my own tableau + it helped shed so much light on what I was trying to delineate. Very apropos that you tapped into this. Wild! *Thank you* for this lesson, today! I'm seriously diggin' your Lenormand knowledge. *BUYING YOUR BOOK* !! :-)
Wow, thank you so much for your amazing comment, Adam! The interesting thing about my videos and blogs is that I just wake up to the ideas or they come during meditation. As you say, what is needed comes to me when I'm connected to universal consciousness. I popped up at the right time for you in the same way as ideas pop into my head. We're all in this together. Synchronicity is Divine!
To take this example, yes end of a fight is whip/coffin but also would whip/scythe since the scythe represents not only danger but also elimination since it cuts away. So its position is crucial in the determination of one or the other. In another example scythe/ring a relationship in danger of a break up but ring/scythe is a breakup along with ring/coffin. I always use the position of a card never the direction in which the symbol is drawn, I find than trying to use both brings confusion, to me anyway. My way keeps it in the KISS category! However I make an exception with the man and woman cards, I take notice of the direction they are facing. I also always thought interesting that those two distressing cards belong to the diamond suit and not the dreaded club suit. But as always your videos are fascinating and a mine of information so thank you Lisa for keeping Lenormand alive!
You've got it! Proximity and card order trump directional cues.😀 And, yes, the Coffin always brings an end regarding what's being asked about. So, if it's following the Scythe and you're asking about how Thanksgiving with the family will go, it will be a sudden and painful end - ending sooner than expected and with a sense of urgency. The Coffin isn't showing up to end the threat of the Scythe. The Coffin ends - it doesn't erase. The cards surrounding the Coffin will further explain what's ending and describe how it will end. Think of it this way, the Scythe already added its energy to the reading, now the Coffin brings an ending - a painful ending to the already existing risk brought by the Scythe. Make up a story and lay a line of cards with this pair within the line and it will make sense. It's too easy for us to overthink things when they're taken out of context.
@@lisaloveslenormand6357 you're right, it all comes back to context, that's why it's so important to have the core meanings and the theory well anchored in our minds. Ain't Lenormand fun 😁
@@purplemoon3816 It really is fun - and enlightening - and magical! You know exactly what you're doing - it all starts with the primary vibe - no matter what you want to call it. People who are trying to learn this system based on combination or keyword lists are traveling a long and difficult road.
Huge thanks Lisa and your videos are never too much, we are truly blessed 🥰 on a separate note, I’m trying to get to grips with grand tableau MOD instead of using houses. Do you think it’s beneficial to keep doing it daily and be mindful the cards are probably going to be more diluted or do weekly? ❤️❤️
Ooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You just gave me a yummy idea to do a video on daily MOD GT practice!!!!!! I'm off on Friday for Thanksgiving weekend and will do it then! Thanks, RhiRhi! For now, what's valuable is if you can lay a MOD GT for a month and leave it laying somewhere (that's why I use those chalk boards) - or take a picture of it. Every time you want to practice, go back to that same GT and see what new insights you get. Or, only read around one life area card each week.
Hi Lisa, I am new to your video, I really enjoy it, I just ordered your Book on Amazon, I used Mlle Lenormand often same as Le Grand Mlle Lenormand which are also excellent, I did a 5 card story today and I also follow Alexandre Musruck, I ask what will happen today? When I cut in Half I got the Coffin + the Man could it mean I am sick or having negative vibe at the moment? The Live of 5 was => Dog + Moon + Cross + Lys + Ryder. Thanks
Hello, Tesimpa, and welcome! Are you saying that you laid a 5-card line and cut the remaining deck to get the Coffin and Man? Are you the Man? Remember to lighten the meanings of all cards in daily draws. The Coffin in a daily may refer to being exhausted or even just in the mood to stay in bed. It may refer to feeling "low", a bit depressed or gloomy. It can refer to a feeling of being buried in work. It can also refer to feeling empty, closed-off from the world, or boxed-in. All of this would be the case if the Man card refers to you.
Hi Lisa, I have a query. Actually one of my friend does tarot reading, and she asked me to enquire about her husband's health. When I asked her, she said she is not supposed to see cards for herself or her spouse. Does any such clause is for lenormand cards as well? Because I see cards for myself n my hubby. Just wanted to check from u. Thanks :)
Well, there's no such "clause" for any form of divination in existence, BUT, your friend understands how difficult it is to read cards for oneself on any delicate topic. It's extremely difficult to remain neutral or calm when reading for anything that you care deeply about or if you're invested in a particular outcome - and health certainly fits in that category. This is why I tell everyone to learn the cards by asking unimportant questions for themselves or by reading for those you aren't close to. The interesting thing about reading for others is that the messages you receive are often meant for you as well!
The class is in session...pay attention dear learners.... pay attention 😁....
