    Thank you so much Lisa. I was wondering about using “clarifiers”, for Lenormand readings. I’ve never seen readers use them, just Tarot readers. My intuition said “no” so thank you for clarifying what I already suspected. This video was very helpful just when I needed it.

      Thank you for commenting and I'm so happy the videos are helping! Counting rounds are an old Grand Tableau technique. I discuss them in my book, and it's funny that you should ask because I haven't used them in a while and I used to all the time! Yes, I added that to my video request sheet.

    Another enjoyable video. I find intention is key with clarifier cards. While I agree with the closed circuit theory in part, I find that if I lay the cards with the intention that clarifier cards may be pulled then the universe usually obliges by putting the cards in the right order. Also I rarely, if ever, use three card spreads to answer a question. There's just often not enough information to go on. Although not necessarily traditional to Lenormand, there is a fantastic Kipper spread that uses special card designations (connectors, stops, cause and effect etc) to grow the initial 4 card cross by laying extra cards in a kind of puzzle format. So a spread may contain as little as 4 or a dozen or more cards depending on how the shape of the spread develops. It usually provides me with stunningly accurate readings. I only mention it in the context of Lenormand as I believe no matter which system we use (Tarot, Kipper, Lenormand etc), the mechanism of how it all works is the same - the universe commits to the blueprint you implant by setting your intention along with the question. However, to throw another spanner in the works :D - As a reiki master we are taught the ability to go back into the past and treat trauma that has already happened - so you may for example send reiki back in time to a car accident to ease somebody's passing. The theory behind this is that time doesn't exist - every moment from the Big Bang to the end of the universe is happening all at the same time - now! If that is the case then the universe knows you've decided to pull a clairifier card before you've even created the thought process behind it, because as far as the universe is concerned it has already happened. That's my tuppeny's worth. I totally agree that sometimes we all fall into the trap of not wanting to accept the answer we're given. I've been reading cards for over 25 years and still do it sometimes! Off to catch up with your other new videos! Blessings from Scotland!

      Excellent comments, Graeme! I agree with EVERYTHING, and I find few who are completely switched-on as you are. I'm also a Reiki Master and relate well to your analogy. Your key statement here is that the Universe knows what you're going to do before you do it and obliges. This is why I stress setting intentions. If your intention is to draw clarifier cards before you begin, then I wouldn't consider them to be clarifier cards at all, but an intentional part of the spread. This is actually how I started with cards in animal communication. I'd simply spread the deck around face-down on the table and then draw cards one after another as I put together a story. Each card led me to another question or issue that led to another card pull. I knew nothing of spreads or techniques. It was what I worked out with Spirit. But, the way new readers are using clarifier cards is to decide after the fact to draw more cards because they don't like or can't understand the message of the cards. In my view, the issue is really not understanding the primary vibes of the cards or how to interpret any group of cards, as in, direction or cause and effect. Does that make sense? BTW, my best friend throughout high school was born in Scotland. Her parents immigrated to the US. I loved the holiday celebrations, the food (well, most of it!), and the culture. 😃

      @@lisaloveslenormand6357 thanks Lisa - yes it makes total sense! It's funny because when I first started learning Lenormand a year or so ago I thought it was a simple and superficial fortune telling device unlike the mighty Tarot! How wrong I was. It's the old peeling an onion analogy - there's just layers upon layers still to be uncovered and explored. Your videos and book have helped reignite my passion for the system and led my study in new directions. Much gratitude for that! Do you know where about in Scotland your friend was born? I'm on the east coast, just north of Edinburgh. Thankfully I'm a vegetarian so I'm no longer subjected to the haggis 🤣 G 🙂

I only remember that it wasn't too far from the border of England. Ah, a vegetarian! I knew I liked you! 😆 the first time I heard this was from Lisa Boswell in reference to tarot (after pulling clarifier cards for a good long while lol). She had the same conclusion that the person either doesn’t like the answer or they don’t understand what the cards mean, so the answer is to research in some way, to find out what that card is saying.
    I have been so tempted to do this story continuation with some Lenormand 3 card spreads I’ve done but it would quickly go off the rails 😂 I like what you’re saying here about asking the whole new question. I’ve had quite a bit of practice in CRV as well via psi dojo and I can see how you wouldn’t take an aspect of the target and keep running on that in different directions in one session.
    There have also been times with tarot that I’ve asked for a clarifier and had success with it.
    What I do now in my weekly tarot story is pull 5 tarot, five oracle and 5 symbols from a set I created all at once. They all play perfectly together and inform each other, which never ceases to amaze me. The fact that it’s all done at the same time probably ensures greater flow and clarity.

      Thank you so much for sharing this, Willow!!!! I love how you're using the cards and, I too, combine systems and draw cards from different systems at the same time for the same question. I always do that for animal readings! I haven't made videos on those methods yet because I wanted to stay focused on teaching the "pure" traditional Lenormand system before I introduced learners to the idea of combining systems or using decks with additional cards (such as the Maybe Lenormand). I felt that if tarot or oracle card readers combined those systems with the Petit Lenormand, they'd never learn the PL system.

    I saw vids on others using clarifier cards in Tarot and Lenormand and I never got the feeling that they made sense and wondered if they were seeing what they wanted. Why pull more tarot cards to understand your tarot card? And same with lenormand!
    With each of those divination systems the cards with the information you need are the ones that appeared in the reading.
    I have combined the two, though! I got the idea from Rana George’s book. Whenever I do a 3 card Tarot spread and if I would like more information I will pull 3 lenormand cards per each tarot card. It’s very in depth and helps me immensely!
    That’s the only way I feel comfortable with clarifier cards. I also use the Prism Oracle cards by Nicole Pivirotto that are awesome as well! They’re so beautiful. If I want to gain more insight on a lenormand or tarot reading I will draw one of those cards to read the overall energy of the reading.

      Yes, when I ask a new question, I use a full deck and shuffle it while stating the question. The only time I lay more than one line of cards without reshuffling is when I set the intention to lay multiple lines as with an options spread. In that case, I'm laying 2 or 3 3-card lines for the same question. And, you're most welcome! Thanks for being on the other end of my sharing! 😃

    I accidentally hit dislike at first but this is an awesome video. The last lenormand author I followed basically encouraged clarifier cards if the last card was the rider, coffin, ship or stork.
    But this is much more helpful to learn from. Make an agreement with spirit and stick to that agreement!
    I was also wondering if you liked that book you mentioned in the video? She has a playing card book I’ve been wanting to read, along with the TdM tarot book but I can’t find many reviews on it. Is it worth the read?

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I shuffle for almost every question because I use those seconds of shuffling to get clear on exactly what I want to ask. But, because I pull cards out by feel rather than from the top of the deck, I don't need to unless I'm replacing the cards I just used, and sometimes, I swoosh all the cards around on the table and just draw from the mess for several questions, especially when I combine 2 decks so I can ask several 3-card questions without having to replace any cards.

      Hi Dora. In certain contexts that could be the case with this set of cards. Because the question was "how will the relationship progress?" and the context is that this is a new relationship, this 3-card line says that discord in the relationship will set in, a decision regarding the relationship will be made, and an ending of the relationship will follow. This is why the question is EVERYTHING in small spreads. Does that make sense?

    You've given some great examples in this video, Lisa! But I didn't understand what exactly you were talking about regarding the second spread, at 04:14. The question was: *why does she make me so angry?* The cards are *Stars* - *Bouquet* - *Key* So someone is getting on your nerves but the cards are all positive. You didn't interpret the cards for that question. Did you mean the cards were wrong because you expected other cards to appear? Do these positive cards answer the question or not? This part of the video is confusing to me.

    • @lisaloveslenormand6357
      @lisaloveslenormand6357  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      If you listen again, starting at 4:14, you'll hear the answer (starting about 6:04). I wasn't open to the answer - I already had my mind made up - I really had no reason to be upset with her - it was about me, not her. I then say that I received the opposite cards to what I expected to see and suddenly, I got the feeling that the message was to go and clear my mind and then come back to the cards later. The point really is that if you are clinging to a desired or expected answer, you won't see the REAL answer and the cards, if you let them, will frustrate you into walking away. Later, you'll thank them. Remember that this video is about whether or not to draw clarifier cards when you don't understand what the cards are saying. To answer that question, no, clarifier cards wouldn't have helped in this case.

      @@ErikaTi They could’ve said all that - if that’s what they had been intended to say. But, you have to go with the answer you get and that answer was too go and get into a clearer state - into Alpha brain - raise the vibration of my thoughts - without that, you’ll never see the correct answer.
