Love the project! It is your car, screw those that are crying. If it was so important to save that car they should call you up with a price that gives you profit!
@@T0tenkampf we’ve posted videos since this lol. Each of us have like 5 car projects going on haha. I plan to post 3 times a week in September on my projects. Here’s to praying for sanity and forgiveness from my wife
Didn't you say that you had two of the TR3 bodies? Might be easier to split them both or section one down the middle and use the other as a middle filler in order to make the Triumph a widebody and drop that over the Kompressor body.
I have an slk, 2nd one have hashed through many errors. Behind speedo is immob module, it ECU and RFID key and coil are a set. Careful, not hard to stop engine from running.
@@RedWhiteandBoosted if I wasn't so busy I'd put 220 in and have my own. But that would mean Corey has to come to my house and I'm not sure his rides are ready for 2+ hrs of hwy driving lol
Watching the video. There is a manufacture in England doing body shells for MG Midget, MGB, Spitfire, Triumph, Mini inquire if they do that body shell. Only other way is look for a better candidate then what you got. Your present body shell is to rusted. Not worth dealing with. You do want a reasonably good shell to proceed.
@@ShaunHensley True but "essence" doesn't mean much if the project stalls because of the impracticality. You can see they aren't hitting it super hard and I can imagine that is because trimming the Mercedes down is a nightmare task
Well, most people would do the work themselves, so the rust repairs would be a minimal cost. I have a friend with a fab shop and I get scraps from him, even SS sheet remnants. My cost to repair that would be zero. Try to be realistic.
Sadly restorations BEGIN at 30k, for all the body work, metal, paint, trim, interior, convertible top, steering, brakes, drivetrain work. This car is FAR from ever seeing the road in its original config. As you have seen from our other videos we have a special relationship with the most fairly priced restoration shop in the south east(maybe the US) and I feel sure the cost he would figure to bring the car back to a driver level would begin at 50k+

Mad keen for this build! Excited to see what you lads come up with 👍 keep up the good work!
Us too! Thanks for watching, we have a few more exciting projects lined up!
Exciting project, looking forward to the next video, subscribed
Thanks, Ross
Thanks! I’ve got the next video edited and ready!
Love your project
Seems so similar of a frame and front suspension to my 52 Austin somerset
Keep on working on this guys....it took you a lot of time for part 2. Dont let us wait for part 3. You are not making Binky, if you know what i mean.
You’re 1000% right, we are much more focused now! Thanks so much for watching
Waiting for next video

I'm 3 hrs from GA, I would like to bring projects, but if not could this work with a 78 MG and A 04 Compressor c230
Like to bring projects?
Can I? If not I don't mind building myself. But Incase u do. What do you charge for this kind of work?
wouldn't it have been easier and more practical to lengthen and widen the tr3?
The essence of these cars is their incredibly small size

Thumbs up
I would do a retro Style racer with this car. Fun but not perfect car
Never look a free TR in rhe mouth 😅
Thousands spent on a car worth realistically maybe 5 grand on a good day better partially saved than crushed
100% free!
Yes but it is the challenge and video content.😊
