This is a pretty unique piece I'm telling ya! David Gimel Bargeon. Bar zjay ohh...just swallow the N.. If you have the original box, keep it too. There are also the faux, imitation stag handles and the All Metal ones which are the smaller versions of these rare French knives and they are the BO/BC ones....button open/ button close ones. These knives have that malteze cross on the back of the handles, that's typical for this knife. The one you have is the Large one with the "coined" brass liners and the backlock release button is Off centre. I couldn't really see it but does your knife have a square or round hole in the tang? Another thing, be carefull not to mess up the spring or opening mechanisme and when closing it in one motion: push the firing button down when closing the knife entirely. It's like a two way motion. Really nice rare piece you got, keep' r safe ❤️👍🏻

I didn't get the original box with it but i keep it wiped down, open, bubble wrapped, and stored away. Seeing one in person did surprise me how heavy duty they are. I really do love it. In the early 90's to 2000 there were a lot of rarities all over in France. They had them in gun stores, fishing stores, souvenirs stores etc...now the prices are almost 3 times then it used to be...anyway, I find that France ís the place to be for finding them in all conditionings. On talkblade there was a guy who bought a whole lottery of them French and Italian knives, bulk. Beautiful pieces and a lot of pictures. Oke bey bey👍🏻🌹
