I felt a little bit of lag and hiccups hair and their, and then I went for a battery replacement because obviously my battery health was at 77% and when I got it back, I immediately felt a change in the battery capacity, holding the battery and also the smoothness somehow.
well now at this point i consider that price to performance ratio the xs is better purchase than 15 like the differences are milliseconds like the avg person doesnt need a 15 they can be well set even with an iphone 8
Well I agree with you the thing is I don’t even have an iPhone 8 I am still using a 6s the phone runs pretty well for its age even though the iOS is outdated it is still decent and the only problem I had was storage and I might consider an xs

So basicaly if you are getting a used iphone get one with a higher storage to prevent unexpected slowdown and mediocre performance as the case with the iphone 11 64gb
am the owner of xs max since release and replaced the battery 2 years ago. it works well, i run chatGPT without any issues. the main problem is the battery. 2 years later i am at 84% and it feels like it is not enough for a full day. i wind up carrying a charger with me just in case. also occasionally it will stop charging and require reboot to fix that. this issue came up after iOS 17 update. Battery is the main reason I considered upgrading this year, but really I should hold off another year until 17 Slim comes out. If rumors are true, it is just want I want from the phone, no bulky camera and light (hopefully cheaper than pro).
I’m so attached to my XS Max. even with using my GB at max capacity (i only ever have about 1-3gb free) storing 43,000 pictures and bought in 2019, I never run into any issues. I can’t stand the newer updated iphone cameras. I’m on software 15.5 and the battery is not at its prime but i’ll forever love this phone
I had the iPhone 15 but it got destroyed on the last fire I was on. I got the XS Max now since it was the only phone I had lying around and it’s honestly not to bad of a downgrade, only thing I really miss is the 0.5 zoom in the camera
I’m gonna give the win the XS Max, only because for a nearly 6 yr old phone it’s still got lots of life left. Loading apps just a few seconds slower than the latest $1k+ flagship impressed me the most. And I miss when put iPhone on the back lol
It'd be amazing if android phones could be as usable as that XS max after so many years. Hope Samsung and Google can optimize well enough their software for their newest flagships that are gonna be supported for 7 years

Yeah it could be having poor gpu it wont run smoothly faster if you have stronger gpu faster cpu and gpu phone it could handle it at all games just like Snapdragon 8 gen 3 and Exynos 2400 can so yeah Exynos is at 10 cores

Looking at it nowadays. It’s literally just seconds how fast phones are these days. It’s not like instant time travel or teleportation
Well seconds is pretty massive difference if you like to open apps, but more like 0,5-1 second difference isn’t much.
