Though this might seem very uninteresting, this has been by far the best 2-player game I've played. It plays different every game, it is extremely tight, and all possible win conditions are viable. I always play with the provost, and everybody should, it might be lame the first round, but after that it makes the game much more appealing. Just an all-round fantastic game in a very small package.
Thanks for the video. I haven't played my copy since I've been waiting for your runthrough, and now that it's up I can get a better feel of the game so that I can teach it to my group (with the Provost of course!)...
I've got the German version, not my native language so I might have got it wrong, but I think that in a 2 player game you only place two resources on the quarry, saw mill and farm. Also when you use the lawyer to convert a building to residence it should be one you've already built that is flipped. Thanks for yet another great runthrough. It's ages since I played this and now I really need to play again.

Out of curiosity why do you dislike interaction with your opponent so much? Most games that have interaction you comment that you dislike it, but without it this game is essentially 2 people playing solitaire at a table
mtgrocks04 sorry, that's entirely untrue. there's a ton of interaction in this game without the provost, in the form of my using your buildings, which creates income for you. me using your stuff for your benefit is the very definition of interaction: "reciprocal action or influence"

6:15 - you should only place 2 stone at the bottom of the card as the rules suggest.
