This made me cry. 🥲 Thank you for putting up this wonderful video and reminding us about the joy of riding. ❤️❤️ Thank you Mr. Painter & 'Gurudeb' Shumi Sirji.. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
What a wonderful video! It's been a tough couple of years specially for motorcycles tourers, and I think you just gave us the best inspiration through this video 🥲🙏🏻
I used to ride because of the air that I felt on my face, the adrenaline that I felt when cornering, for the smiles that appeared out of no where, for the feeling that I had it all in my control. For the freedom!! For the love of roads!! I hope I will get back to it someday!!
@@surobhitkundu8946 I sold my last bike in 2014(Avenger 220) to buy a bigger/better bike but then life took over. I am hopeful though, one day. Thanks for asking.
I ride motorcycles because they reach out to me in a way no human being can ever do. If I'm happy i ride, if I'm sad i ride, it's a one stop solution to everything emotional in life. The moment I'm on my bike i become one with it, my heartbeat syncs with the reciprocating piston making every beat feel I have been reborn. When I twist the throttle watching the tacho needle rise gives me an adrenaline rush like an ocean in my veins. Every corner feels like surfing through waves holding the line just trusting your beast on steadfast shoes to take you through it just one more time and she never fails. The feeling is exhilarating. After all of this you come back to reality not upset that it's over but full of power to face the hardships of life. Thank you PD for this beautiful video. You have inspired many indian riders to become true rides. I am one of them.
When I was in college, I used to ride for the thrills given by a wide open throttle and higher and higher lean angles. Now that I am older and slightly more mature, while not having a lot of free time, I now ride for the peace and tranquility of the early morning roads.
Never delete this video. Let this age for people to see in their recommendations 10 years later! It's that essay written by a student which the teacher talks about to the class the next day explaining what "best" is! A beautiful essay videographed! 🎉
PD always makes what we love. This was very a beautiful feeling, I myself have ridden just an Activa , Ntorq & some Hard tail MTB till now as two wheeler but yet I can feel or imagine the feeling of riding a bike. I promise that I will value my first bike and also the one's which I own now as they always make me feel better no matter what's happening in my life
To paraphrase someone I heard a while back, Riding motorcycles is to breathe inertia like oxygen. To live acceleration not in a coccoon but as an active participant hurtling our bodies through the chaos and serenity and into the elements while being above the machine and not inside it. To engage each and every sense with a keen awareness that at any moment, it could be over. And to know that you are not alone to have this glorious sensation wash over you. That you are part of a brotherhood that loves the idea is two wheels, one engine and zero limits.
7:13 where I cried 🥺. As I ride access fell myself so underpowered on highway. but after coping with others and meeting them they never let me feel that way that's power of biking brotherhood and motorcycle. Thanks Shumi sir for again acknowledging that whatever you ride doesn't matter. Love you sir and powerdrift.🥰🥰
For me riding is like meditation. I forget about work, family, friends, how this country is falling apart, how the world is burning, everything. If there is a road, or even if there isn't, that's all I need.
Cinematography, a treat to the eyes. Music, absolutely perfect and on point and poignant and simple and evocative. Conversation, relatable and echoing the thoughts of most riders, presumably. Beautiful video, through and through. Cheers!
The video was so satisfying. The music, the shots and the conversations, everything was perfect. The video is made so beautifully... but then in the middle of nowhere this comes "sunita sunna tumne yeh kya bol rahe haii...." it's irritating 😒. TH-cam should seriously consider the number of times they repeat the same dumb ads. But you guys are just getting better each time. Commendable Job.. Powerdrift.

PS: I'm recovering from a fractured ankle and wrist due being on the wrong side of the "razor's edge" as Shumi put it. And I can't wait to get back on the saddle. Slightly sore, and a bit wiser.
Just watching these two amazing people talk about riding and explaining EXACTLY how I feel about riding is why I love Powerdrift. Just like Shumi said, "There's literally nothing else I'd rather be doing" is how perfectly riding can be summed up for me.

This is something, that I always love! After watching this, my soul is whispering that it is exactly same as my thoughts. Probably the best definition of motorcycle! PowerDrift 🙏 & Shumi 🙏
This video made me shed few tears..I am in a bad place now because of a health condition. I am not able to ride, even sit for that matter and its driving me crazy. It's been so many months since I have ridden my motorcycle. It makes me sad thinking that my motorcycle is sitting idly collecting dust. I just want to get well soon and ride my motorcycle, even if it's just hustling through the daily traffic of Bengaluru. Videos like these fill us with joy, inspire us to ride more, explore new places and make new friends. I have been following you guys since PTR days. There are soo many videos by you guys that I have viewed repeatedly. Your video comparison between Duke 200 and NS200 is one of the reasons I bought my Duke 200 and have rode for 65k kms (it would have been a lot more if Covid didn't play spoilsport). I intend to do more and reach a milestone of 1 lakh km once I get well. You guys are the best (entire PD team). Keep up the awesome work.
Is it the cinematography or is it the BGM or is it the script? What is it… that is making this video stand out.. invoking a special feeling about bike… this video is put out purely to push all those who are glued onto mobile screens like me to hit the road, soak in the 🌞 💨. Great video
Why we ride..I don't know if I could exactly articulate it..or even articulate it at all..but..can just say..riding..just makes me feel happy..it..it is a feeling of Zen..there is no other way or word to express it..I think it's a feeling of Zen..like you're on top of a mountain..shouting your name out..and whilst you're doing all that..you're still climbing the mountain..a weird..simultaneous feeling..makes no sense..but..that's how it is..adrenaline..and peace..together..crazy shit..love two wheels man..f*kin love it..
