First, you're asked to volunteer the information requested, then when you refuse by stonewalling and replying with demands that have nothing to do with the requestor's obligations, you're subpoenaed and forced to give up the information requested. That's a reply.

I understand refinery capacity is down, too. Refiners aren't going to _add more capacity because they realize oil use will be dropping. They don't want what's called "stranded assets."

Based in HK, watched the coverage this morning. Thought it was an excellent kick-off for the rest of the hearings. However, if Americans can’t bring themselves to be concerned about an attempted coup because it was orchestrated by a POTUS they supported, then the level of partisanship means you’re doomed as a democracy anyway. Your constitution and laws should always come before party and politics.

@@rebeccap274 what do you mean but 10k jobs, there is no pipeline that cane give 10k jobs, there is no pipeline that can give that many jobs, they are stretch the truth like " In the next Ten years the may make 10k jobs" which may not even be close to the amount if they are think about having a high turn over rate. most pipeline only need about less 1k people to build it and then about a few people may 2 per mile for the upkeep. so no 10k jobs where lost where ever you read that is lie.
no new pipeline has ever lower the prices, also has you can search no CEO will ever try to lower the prices, right now there have been many CEO on record that say they will not start any new production and they goal is to not lower the price. Joe is trying to fight this but doing the "Use it or Lose it" trying to get companies to use the land they have lease but are not using to drill , this will make more company to drill but will do very little on the price. the only way to lower price, will be to national. at that point it will be America 1st, because once it national it will own by the people

I said it yesterday, I'll say it again: I'm still kind of shocked by how McCarthy just goes on national TV and blithely assumes that his voters (and I guess most of the Fox News audience) are either so incredibly corrupt or mind-numbingly stupid as to simply ignore the fact that McCarthy himself frequently cheers and praises Trump for the exact behavior he is accusing the Democrats of in open denial of the public record. He's literally saying "I know that you're either far too stupid to figure it out or you are like me and just want to personally profit as much as possible from the destruction of America , or you wouldn't be in the cult" on live television.

See, I'm going to have to disagree with one particular part of this Closer Look. At one point Seth says "we're all capable of caring about more than one thing at a time..." and is somehow unaware that Republicans are *_completely incapable_* of actually doing exactly that. Absolutely everything is either/or with them. There is no nuance or shades of grey, they either care or they don't, and they only have the attention to care about one thing at a time. Republicans are notorious for being single-issue voters because they are single-issue people.
