I hear what you are saying, brother. I made proper adjustments with a white crappie jig with a white grub and trophy bass. I caught 4 nice sized smallies with the jig. It's true no matter how experienced you get with a jig weather it's for crappie, bass, whatever. You have to adjust the presentation and speed of the crappie jig

And also you always respond when someone needs help
My question is the only way I can catch anything is with Red worms and even then they are very very small I have lures bigger than what I catch.
I have used all types of lures for crappie and I have yet to catch anything at all with them.i am fishing a lake from the bank because that's the only option and it's a lake at our small local park. Jig under our slip cork works great it allows the bait to slowly float by and not just swing through it also allows the jig to bounce up down with the ripples or waves on top water . And it doesn’t move away real fast the slip cork allows that jig or shiner to stay in the bite zone they are liking way longer than just pitching to them and working the jig back by itself

I typically use (2) 16th oz jig heads and one size 3 split shot as well. Thanks for watching! God Bless

When you're catching a lot of smaller fish does that mean that larger fish are a little deeper in most cases?

Not always. Just depends! That’s why you have to fully dissect that brush top. You might be feet away from fishing the keepers! But sometimes it’s just small fish! Thanks for watching! God bless

Our water isn’t clear so we can use braid and it saves on equipment. I get my jig back alot of times it just bends hook open and I bend it back. most of them people just mad they ain’t catching or they can’t use braid cause there water is to clear. “JEALOUSY” is kind like money it is the root of all evil
