Great review! I wish we had this variation of the Scirocco in the states! You still see many of the old classic Sciroccos on the road nowadays, my dad had a 1974 Scirocco back in the day and he said it was one of the best cars he’s ever owned

Great video as always Barrie! I used to have a VW Scirocco 1.4 TSi (122). Awesome cars and definately feel quicker than the numbers suggest, they feel like they just want to go too and they are pretty good on fuel too. Anyway keep up the awesome work buddy 👌

Great video .. I had a scirocco years ago but not the flash Scala version ....mine leaked white sauce out of the breather pipe ... I was proper stitched up with that ..😀.... obviously your vehicles are great examples and looking a bit of a gangster at the start ... 👍😎

I had a 2.0T GT for a year, a year or two ago... They turn in and handle very well with those wider wheels at the back. You can hear a lot of road noise though - obviously they didn't sound insulate them as much as the Golf... Massively underrated hot hatches though...
It seemed pretty quiet on this video. I have a Mk7 Golf and the road noise is pretty bad

@@footballchants5756 the 1.4 manual is an absolute joy to drive, but would probably go for the Auto in 2.0
Good vid mate but I wish you wouldn't use manufacturer's fuel figures as you know as well as me there not true ,
sadly, i can only use the official ones
