I will have to be insanely rich to buy this, it will be my daily. Until then though, I would get a TGO pro8 or Fortuner, fold the rear seats, and have enough space to fit the whole T-Roc

brand new Tiguan R-Line without the extras is R770k for a 1.4L. The 2L is basically R850k. I would go for a used one for far less for both

VW prices are crazy, this car is expensive. For that money I'd get a new Ford Ranger 2.0L bi turbo wildtrack or xlt or get a pre owned Toyota hilux 2.8 gd-6 legend rs

The T ROC is based on the Golf , you could argue that it’s a smaller version of a Tiguan R.
I could be wrong but I think it’s just supply and demand. The demand for vw cars is increasing so they need to increase prices to balance supply and demand again I don’t know
