I bought the RG552 almost a year ago and it’s a great handheld. The screen is brilliant. Currently running the latest version of AmberElec and every game starts, work and runs very well with very minor tweaks.

It's one of my favorite handhelds! The quality is superior and it has nice hefty size to it. The screen is gorgeous, controls are fantastic. I put Batocera on mine. Everything works great on it that I've tried and every system has its aspect ratios set up automatically thanks to Batocera.
@@LukeHoppe I saw in another video that somebody was using their RG552 on the Android side and set their device to portrait mode (using the pull down menu on main screen) while they used Drastic. Game changer! Makes DS games look as close to the original as you can get, but BETTER because that RG552 screen is sooooo large and rich!
So what handheld are you referring to when you said there's a better recommendation for about $100 more? I'm trying to stay in the $200-300 range for a handheld, full on console prices for a handheld are off-putting.

Great video, thank you. It has a really professional feel. Great set up. I am surprised this system does not perform that well considering it has so much ram and a dedicated GPU. Would have loved to see more of the linux side of things as that is something which most systems of this type cannot do.
Depends on what Tekken you are talking about specifically, but if it’s on PS2 this device will most likely not work. The Anbernic 405v might be a better option.

Hi, I’m going to buy a handheld for my son’s birthday and I want the anbernic handheld that plays the absolute most amount of games ie. biggest game libraries, most emulators, and if it has google play etc. Which one would I buy? Thank you in advance!
It depends on what exactly they would like to play. If it is mainly just older retro stuff like N64, Gameboy or PS1 you'll be fine with almost anything, but if they want PS2, Gamecube or anything newer than that you'll have to get something like a Retroid Pocket 4+ or an Anbernic RG556.

The screen was my favorite part about this. Loved being able to play DS games using the touch screen!

I’ve been using my Retroid Pocket 3+. Goes for around $150, but has a better chipset and can play GameCube games which is what I’ve been trying to do.

What's the best 405m or 552m?
I would probably go with the 405m, but it really depends on what you are looking to play.

I would say get the RG556. The RG405 is also good, but the RG556 has an OLED screen that is just beautiful.

I’ve heard great things about Powkiddy recently. For sure will check this out. Also very excited for the Anbernic 405v that just came out.

I would recommend the RG351v or 353v, but temper your expectations with what it will play.
You should have put the other handheld's that are cheaper that do better. A little list would have been nice.
