Bro I live here In Pasadena and I do Doordash and UberEats in Pasadena and Downtown LA and business has definitely fell off way to many drivers the market is over saturated definitely not like it used to be and yes the traffic and parking is no joke u gotta hustle hard to hit $200 plus a day!! I accidentally accepted an offer in LA, I thought I was accepting one In East LA, which is a litter more easier. Omg, never again. There was nowhere to park.

I doordash with my girl too it makes it easier she will Google the address so we can see the house and I just get there and drop off lol

Here in delco pa (5 min from philly) we are currently getting $5.50 promo from 9:30 to 11:30. Its 11 now and haven't gotten 1 order. Never have gone this long without an order

Usually happens with peak pay, the peak pay attracts so many drivers to the area

You also see as a TD it busy before a non TD. I keep a note file in my phone that keeps all my gate codes for my market. But I'm interested in that opening a gate for me thing
I have been top dasher for well over a year, that whole peak pay and seeing busier zones when a top dasher verses not top dasher I have seen consistently since I got top dasher. Being top dasher always kept me consistently busy and I never saw the $2-$3 orders. But one thing I am noticing has changed since the diamond zones have started is the orders I used to call unicorns have become a regular thing for me now. Now I am getting $10-$20 tips left and right, where as before most of my tips were between $1-$5 and then I would get random “unicorn” $20 tips here and there.

Hey Pedro! Hope you see this man, I’ve been too dasher since March 1st, ever since I’ve been getting terrible orders like 6.50 for 12 miles, very bad and before I was too dasher I was getting better ones very confused about this

Where is the best areas to Dash in the LA area? I live in Valencia & it's so slow out here. I end up having to drive to Filmore to get any shifts. I've tried to drive to Westwood & Beverly Hills, but it's so hard to find parking I can't make it work. I've seen people on scooters, but idk bout all that.

I stopped dashing moths ago and always see crazy peak pays here in my area …I wonder if so many drivers quit or got deactivated? When I did dash I never seen any peak pay but recently there’s always $4.50 peak pay and says very busy. I’m incredibly busy with work but would love to dash with these peak pays

The fact that door dash has been caught stealing tips, really makes me skeptical with the whole offering $12 then paying out $84, I’d think as a company that’s been caught doing shady biz they’d want to reassure dashers they’ve changed their ways with total transparency… and side note, door dash says that what they offer as base is not influenced by the tip amount, which from my experience is 100% false. Looks like a good time tho! Thanks for sharing!

I know a hub/wife duo where the wife is TD and hubs is not. He had peak pay when she didn't. She couldn't dash and he could. But she's TD? Wild.
I still run at 30% Acceptance Rate, average $25 an hour with DD. Pitch the garbage. KOBE!
The downside is or at least in my market if that is true then I would have to take the trash to get orders which means doordash eventually going to go away because you can't make money taken Lopez from high mileage I've been at the decline left and right yesterday went from a 50% to a 30% in just a couple of hours

I'm curious, how do you schedule your shifts? 1 hour at a time the longest possible? Are there any advantages to scheduling different ways. I have some theories. Please comment 🙏
You have to pretty much be on you're phone to check the schedules because people take them in a blink of an eye lol I started dashing in January I learned a lot now is March and I'm top dasher all month I can dash whenever at whatever time I want and set my schedule when I want I came a long way lol, I was like that in the beginning I would only dash an hr until I figured it out good luck

@@foxdogs1st whatever they had on the schedule I would take I normally do 5-6 hrs , example before I got top dasher my schedule for today was 12-230 pm and 530-10pm I'm in California hours , Sunday schedule was from 1130am-130 pm then 430-10pm, I'd get good schedules bevause I kept refreshing the page to check the schedule and as soon as I see something I would grab it lol but now that I can dash anytime I can start whatever time and it lets me select what time I want to end dash,

Schedules in California are posted at 4 pm PST each day. I put my alarm to schedule 😂. I drive from 10 am to 2:30 pm and then again from 5 pm-8:30 or 9 pm. Those are the peak hours in my area.

You dont know cali strategy. U dealing with a different beast. In cali doordash payout is: $19 per hour + 30 cent per mile + you keep %100 of your tips. Thats minimum. Ill sit in traffic all day with my favorite podcast and get paid.
