I prefer traditional/rustic, but this has so much going for it. It is tastefully remodeled, move-in ready, has a great location, and a beautiful terrace. Excellent value all around. In a major city in the US, you couldn't touch this for less than $350,000 or more. That's why people who think it is so risky to buy property in Italy don't know what they're talking about.

Like the mid-century modern vibe. Great floor plan, beautiful finishes. I agree with you, remove that wall in the kitchen (with the breakfast bar). I'd also consider adding A/C. Love the terrace! Other than cleaning up the cantina, fixing wonky wiring I don't think I'd do much with it other than use it for storage. Great find! Another place we could picture ourselves living in.

@@SabineSabineP The floor needs stripping back and refinishing. It is not ruined. If you have Parquet floors you have to refinish them every few years. A refix and a rug will sort it out. As for the Kitchen it was far too modern for the house and I would be happy to have it removed and be able to put something a lot nicer in its place.

Love the space and the layout. The look is a little too modern for me. I think I would replace the wood floors with more traditional tiling and definitely take out the wall in the kitchen with the tv. The other wall in the kitchen with the radiator, I would have to think about what to do. Love the wood beam ceiling leading out to the terrace. The terrace is just stunning!

I agree on taking that wall out. I would replace it with an island with wheels and a breakfast bar where they have it. I would move the table closer to the living room, but give it a twist so the head seat has their back to the window.
I'm not thrilled with the street noise, but I would use this as a weekly/ monthy vacation home, so that could be just part of the charm. That gigantic basement could be made into a totally seperate rental. Or if this was a family home, it would ma

The car parking situation seems to be the biggest negative with this place, a 2 minute walk would be quite annoying on a cold, rainy day. The mix of an old building with the modern finish gives this a nice vibe. The terrace is big enough that one wouldn't need a garden, it could be easily done on the terrace, with an incredible view. I'm curious how such a nice looking place could have such a price? Also, how in the world does one need that much Nutella?

Yes, it is going to need a kitchen. I would take the walls in the kitchen out as you suggested. The place looks fantastic. It's a great summer home or a rental. However, if I had a wife and kids, it would work excellent as a primary residence. But for the Kitchen, not much needs to really be done. There is hardly any notice from the street with those kinds of walls and windows. I still haven't figured out what the duvet is used for? I think it's a dog water bowl but I could be wrong. The disappointing part is not having a garden. That would have sold the deal. You see, I have dogs. If not having a garden is okay with you, this place is in town and close to everything. It's huge and the basement could be turned into a "MAN CAVE"! So talk about financing?
