- All kinds of awesome happens in this video. The badass Grahf returns to take you out. Executioner is a "new" person that appears to fight you with Grahf, but you find out real fast who it is near the end of the video.
Overview
Okay, so now that the whole group is back together, it's time to escape from Solaris. If you didn't watch the last video, Citan finally decides to whip out his sword to use in battles when he promised never to use it again. And let me tell you, MY GOD is he strong with it. He will naturally hit harder and be the strongest of the group now. So make full use of it.
If you've been learning Deathblows as of lately, you probably should have at least one of the final Deathblows for each character. These are elemental, but much stronger than any of the lower level ones. On top of a new sword, Citan's Deathblows are all completely different now.
Video Spoilers
A lot happens in this video. It starts out with Hammer turning traitor last second and takes Elly hostage for Krelian. Hammer has been a good guy since pretty early in the game, and a really helpful one at that, so this surprises everyone. Elly's mother saves her by calling Hammer's bluff, but Hammer shoots the mom instead, killing her.
Then Grahf and Executioner show up to stop you from leaving. When the fight ends, Elly's father then gets killed, and the executioner reveals full power while Elly fights back with her inner power. Fei can't take it anymore, and reverts into Id once again.
You don't see what happens, though that'll all be revealed in the next video. It cuts to aftewards. Many people might get confused here by seeing Krelian instead of Grahf. Krelian is NOT Grahf. Grahf already left, and Executioner reveals herself to be no other than Miang. You're probably wondering how Miang is so strong. After all, the whole game she seems to just be a subordinate of Ramsus. But you'll soon find out there's more to her than you know, if you hadn't gotten the hints already.

Bart: LV58 - Sonic Wave - Crimson Vest, FeatheredCap, Battle Apron
Strategy
This fight isn't hard at all if you take out Executioner fast. If you don't, every move it does will OKHO you. So hope you bought plenty of Zetasols. Grahf will resort to his normal move antics. He's slow as hell, though.
Spam your best Deathblows, you should have at least one of the top tier ones by now for each character you play. Either way, don't screw around too much and you'll beat this no problem. A little disappointing of a fight, but it's Grahf so it's still awesome.

Such great characters in this game and an amazing plot in general. Hammer is a good guy but weak and afraid. He does the unthinkable due to his own cowardice and lack of power. Much of the game deals with power and lack thereof and how it affects people. Grahf (Lacan) and Fei for example both struggle with this. While they both have power, Grahf lusts for it and Fei shuns violence and is an unwilling warrior at first. Bart also chases power in order to reclaim his rightful throne and is jealous of Fei's power. Citan seals away his past and true power in search of peace but is forced to unsheathe (literally and figuratively) his power in order to fight against the enemy. Maria views Siebzehn as a cursed weapon yet one she relies on for its power.
One could go on and on about the themes in this game, from religion to psychology and all the rest.
Also this literally interprets the ANCIENT ASTRONAUT THEORY. People may have come from the stars or other planets. ZEBOIM civilization was advanced and after thousands of years people lost all the technology and started over and only just realised about technological past of humanity through excavating which the Ethos was keeping secret only for Gebler and those Nazis in Solaris.
You know what's funny Jonathan? This game is a freaking Anime art style game and not a single character has hair that can stack up to UFO hairs guy's hair.
This one was ahead of it's time. Truly the best RPG I could have ever played. Wish they would remaster it for the next generation consoles.
Except Chu Chu though. Chu Chu is already perfect :)

Yeah, the poor dude had been downtrodden and made to be less than his whole life despite trying to have an upbeat attitude about it all. So he fell to the temptation to actually be strong for once. But through it all he was still sorry for what he did and had respect for his former comrades. When he says "Haha that's my Bro!" When you beat him after his transformation I really felt bad.

Back when playstation anime rpg’s had depth. Than again I’m just coming out of video game retirement and finally decided to finish this game. One never got a chance to finish. Like if you’re playing xenogears now lol.
He said it in the video already, Compaired to the rest of the party, He felt like dead weight, I felt bad for him mainly because he's betrayal was not out of greed or malice, But because he was just too weak willed to trust the party (his true friends)
Sad as later on you find things get very WORST for him when you see him again

this game has really good sprite art.
Yeah, especially within battles I think the movements look insanely good considering the game's 22 years old. The way the moves fluidly transfer to one another with just a small gap to emphasize the power of each strike ia really satisfying to me.
Citan one of my favorite fictional characters ever.

I forgot how much I loved this game back in the day and also that all good Anime is built on the backs of orphans. Elly's parents had to die!
This game was so ahead of its time. A shame they ran out of time and... well all of disk 2.

Lol Bart's Deathblow 'Angel', did he really just floats in the air by flapping his hands? I don't think I ever use that Deathblow when I played the game back in the day. I just thought that was funny.
I honestly didn't know much about the death blows the first few runs until later on. Most have infinity death blows (Level 4 Hypermode) which I experimented with later on. NECESSARY TO BEAT final bosses without trouble.

Ramsus is destined to lose from the day he was -aborted- born. He's an allegory to Sisyphus pushing the stone up the hill for all eternity.
is there any real reason not to use Doc and Bart? Billy joins you relatively late, as does Emeralda. Ricardo is so slow that he is borderline unplayable.
Billy has a useful heal-all spell. Citan can do that too, but it requires a two turn set up; so when you need to use it, somebody could already be dead.
Could you remind me as to why Hammer betrayed the group again?
Because he was an extremely weak minded character that thought he was not at the level of anyone in the group. He was convinced by Krelian to betray the group. The reward for this would have been immense power.
