@@tryingtobebetter7235 good question. Maybe it was prescient of what was to come. Or, maybe it was not Deus, but the Wave Existence, who sent the message.
If Zohar is symbolic of the forbidden fruit in genesis (and I think it is), then Deus may be taunting the humans with that line. Those words are used in Genesis as those which tempted Adam and Eve to eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Just as that fruit brought humanity sin in genesis, Zohar (and Deus, which it gave life to) brought ruin to humanity and controlled it, at least for 10000 years. I think Deus or maybe the Wave Existence may be referecing those lines from Genesis to essentially admonish or mock humanity for believing in its arrogance that it could control Deus and Zohar, just as Adam and Eve believed in their arrogance (as Genesis portrays it) that they could be 'as gods, knowing good and evil.'
Comrade Weeb announcing its intention... to completely remake the human race and turn everyone and thing into its components... and thus by doing so make them part of “god” ie “shall become as gods”.
Not bad. The AI didn't do good with the textures on the hull of the ship and just made it look like random crumples, and when the camera was moving fast on the outside of the ship it didn't look good. It also seemed to struggle with how exactly to upscale objects that had bright flashes of white light from electricity on them.
Seems like AI upscale needs a little work. I love this game but the lack of it looking properly at previous frames and making a stable decision on pixel placement makes the video look like you are looking at it in water. It's still nice that you took the time to do this though. I appreciate it.
Need to play it after a long run on the 3 Xenoblade, the best jrpgs I ever experienced. Hope to see this and Xenosaga coming our way one day, remaster or anything which make it possible to play
I never noticed before but at 3:40 the sound effects for the computer are from Star Trek, 2 combadge sounds followed by a LCARS door chime sound effect, then a repeating general warning sound.. weird.
If they ever have either a remake, or a remaster made, this needs better voice acting on the next go around. This wasn't horrible by any stretch, but it was done in a bland, robotic Star Trek type of way, (that I also love btw) which doesn't fit. The japanese version conveys the fear and desperation in the crew and captain as the ship is being transformed from the inside out.
Wonder how much cash they used to make this opening sequence, they way the character's shadows are rendered are impressive, is there any 2D anime movie with such a quality to the color render out there?
Kind of ironic that a scene about AI going rogue and turning against humans is ... enhanced by AI.

Wow, amazing.
You know, they never became like gods.
The shipwreck was mythologized by the descendents of Abel as the Fall of Man. The terraformer was mythologized as a god sleeping at the bottom of the ocean.
@@taylordiclemente5163 What was Deus' intent in communicting that way?
Thanks.
Not bad. The AI didn't do good with the textures on the hull of the ship and just made it look like random crumples, and when the camera was moving fast on the outside of the ship it didn't look good. It also seemed to struggle with how exactly to upscale objects that had bright flashes of white light from electricity on them.
F#$k that's ultra clear quality. Looks like i just purchase it from the store years ago.
Remember you got Final Fantasy VII out of Square Soft focusing on it instead of this master piece.
That was a fucking rpg, i Love it
Nice. Have you been able to recompile the iso file with higher resolution cutscenes? Just curious
Normally not a big fan of upscales, but this is quite nice
This is amazing looking.
This would be great if i was one of the 8 people in the world that had a 8k TV
Thank you!
YE SHALL BE AS GODS
Seems like AI upscale needs a little work. I love this game but the lack of it looking properly at previous frames and making a stable decision on pixel placement makes the video look like you are looking at it in water. It's still nice that you took the time to do this though. I appreciate it.
th-cam.com/video/tdF6g9Ud2Is/w-d-xo.html New version
Need to play it after a long run on the 3 Xenoblade, the best jrpgs I ever experienced.
Hope to see this and Xenosaga coming our way one day, remaster or anything which make it possible to play
I never noticed before but at 3:40 the sound effects for the computer are from Star Trek, 2 combadge sounds followed by a LCARS door chime sound effect, then a repeating general warning sound.. weird.
This scene..... how all human ends.....😔
I recently read about a possible remake. Have you guys heard something?
Thank you!!!!
i am here searching for signs of Xenogears remakes in 2021
Best RPG ever made!
I want a remake/remastered of this game !
