- A long fight, I came unprepared, I can only attack it little by little while struggling to survive.
current level was 84, i guess at least must at level 90 above and with much support magic to make fight easier.
But dude, that was awesome fight.

Xenogears is one of the handful of games that really hits me when I hear it's OST. That fond, yet melancholy feel.

Xenogears needs a remake
The ONLY game that really needs a remake.
They do need xenogears remake just so I can play as my squad fei, whipping bart, and badass samurai john lenon Citan 😎
Arnold Williams Emeraldas pretty good on both offensive and magic. Especially w the right equipment. They really do need to work on something revolving around the original story, make some money and then work on a remake plus the missing episodes.
Wew Lad i do think they rebrandished it in a different form w Xenosaga and Xenoblade.
They only abandoned it because the team was young and had 2 years to make it. If they could just sit together and come w an agreement, maybe Nintendo can pick it up.
Translations for the game after 20 years should be much more easier to deal w. I've seen players play it in over 4 languages. They just need to realize that there is still an interest and a fanbase.
Squaresoft fucked this up in 1997. Now when Xenoblades monolith soft is making a statement, now Square Enix is going to pull this low blow shot? Real classy. I have lost so much respect in square right now. Even your Final Fantasy is starting to suck. Oh btw, Xenoblade storylines makes final fantasy stories very disney-ish. They have lost their touch.

Well Deus/Yaveh system was capable of easily destroying planets, and the Xenogear was comprable to Deus. It was an Omnigear created by exposure to the Zohar and Fei's wave exsitence abilities. Its Deconstructor weapon abilities allowed it to destroy the regeneration of the otherwise indestructible "angels" Deus unleashed on the world from Merkava/Merkabah. It also restored/elevated the anima relic powered omnigears after their power sources were absorbed by Deus. The same no limits extradimensional power source inside Deus was powering the Xenogear simultaneously.
The *lower* limit to explode an earth sized planet is *7* x 10^35 joules that is not an upper limit as we don't know Deus' upper limits. For example it's fetal form it was already capable of destroying planets, it wrecked part of the northwest continent when it woke up and caused devastating global effects that even knocked sheilded flying cities out of the air.
Deus's final form used that power source to jump to the higher domain of the wave exsistence it was already lifting off the surface of the planet with a level of energy so intense it would've obliterated that world as a by product of it's Ascension, Xenogears caught up to it at speeds exceeding escape velocity and gave it a metaphorical punt just far enough it's ascension only disrupted the ionosphere and the Xenogears survived that massive explosion. Let that sink in.
@@marcosrios1246 He got wrecked by a bunch of children. I guess he didn't find it prudent or advantageous to use his overwhelming power to destroy everything. Xenogears was a rushed messed in the end. It never got a sequel either.

Yes, Xenogears was a clusterfuck, but the perfect works filled in the gaps. The reasons no sequel was made was due to several factors, involving marketing, the creators having a falling out with Squaresoft, and sqaresoft being shortsighted.
@@marcosrios1246 I don't think xenogears is as powerful as Deus. Deus was already capable of conquering planets even before contacting the Zohar. The wave existence was trapped in the first place because deus was creating distortions.
Actualy it is the pilot that makes the gear powerful not the other way. Fei did have a contact with the most powerful source of energy in the universe after all, the wave existence, the Xenogear is still very powerful.
Nice reference....would have been a bit nicer if they'd played the boss theme from Xenogears.

After reading the description, I fully agree if Xenogears gets a remake!
The thing that beat a weapon system comprised of the Zohar, Zarathustra, and raw U-Do waves (Which pretty much describes Zohar, Deus and the wave existence perfectly) dubbed "God" did not disappoint. Though they could've used the boss music from Xenogears to solidify the cameo. But you could tell Fei was only testing their power. He wasn't going all out.
In the Japanese version, Libra would show "He mistook the game in which he appeared".
Dude, I thought Square Enix forgot they had this property.
I hope if Xenoblade get succes they will remake the game as concurrence. But I'm dreaming

@@mikec5400 Even with maxing out the entire Equipment of your gears and you perma pressing buttons the fight doesn't go below 10 minutes, getting the hang of the fight, trying to strategize for since it's a stat-check to begin with makes it easily the longest boss in the entire series. Even on most forums people are talking a 30 minute battle with max equip and it's not like you could just mash the same button combo since his attack pattern changes between phases

Xenogears is stronger than Weltall Id. That's Fei with all his personalities AND past lives combined, as well as full access to the power of the Zohar.

@@coochieslayer93 No, there is a Id Xenogears.. Which is stronger than the Demon of Elru, but much weaker than regular Xenogears. I believe Id is probably about 1/3 the power of Fei at his full potential.. That's just a thought that popped in my head as just now though.. Seeing as endgame Fei is immeasurable and has all of Id's power as well... I mean.. Just look at his Big Bang Attack! He literally destroys the entire galaxy and then instantly reforms it with the single hob goblin removed due to the Big Bang's explosion! All Id could do was make a miniature black hole which couldn't even engulf Rico's fatass.
@@devious3174 theres no Id Xenogears, but heres the order of power: Weltall, Weltall 2, Demon of elru (Ids version of Weltall), Weltall system Id (fei combining Id into his Weltall) and Xenogears (using the power that the wave existence/god gave him aka the contacts power which is half of xenogears total power)

Being a fan of both Xenogears and FF this is very nice, also I’m pretty sure I killed it in just a couple turns by using that XL Behemoth monster, it was super overpowered, I need to replay WoFF soon on new game plus to use Xenogears more

Xenogears is stronger than Id, this is when Id became one with Fei and his other selves inside him, it doesn't need Ether to operate or a relic like the other gears

He no longer needs system ID, within Xenogear this is fei with every incarnation of Fei as well as all his personalities combined (when Id and fei became one) as well as fused with the power of the wave existence. For obvious reasons, he is weak here for the sake of being a boss.

I don't understand what makes Square do something like this. The people buying this game are too young to have played Xenogears, or are casual gamers looking for something to play with their kids or maybe get into FF. Nobody but actual gamers with some age to them would get this deep of a cut. I just wish this 'meant' something apart from silly fan service
