Jesus if I worked at a BMW dealership I would be buying bikes every month. Owned 104 cars in the last 40 years and currently have 8 motorcycles. Variety is the spice of life. I love your bike and it’s triple black…. my BMW is an RT, but thinking about his bike 👍👍 enjoy the bike and stay safe !

I sold my BMW S1000R last year and bought one of the last "really" Triumph Speed Triple 1050 here in Germany, cause i love it so much :o) I think, the GS is a really Road King and you will enjoy it very much - and i think, i will enjoy my Speedy! Wish you many good miles with your new bike!

Wow what a great looking bike Kate, I can't believe the condition for a 16 plate... on film it looks brand-new!!! All the big RRs etc are just too much for the roads these days and far too much money to spend for track use so you have made the right decision you know what they are like and you will love it. I recently traded my Monster 1200R and a 1200 Multistrada and bought a 1250 GSA and after doing over 2000 miles since the 1st of March this year can honestly say its fantastic. All the people who slate them or call them old mens bikes etc have never ridden one well not properly anyway. Enjoy it Katie Bobs you got the right back up should anything go wrong but it won't (;

Great choice!, I sat on one last year at Swansea Motorrad!, Bought a 13 plate full spec one the next day and absolutely love it !, Done the NC 500 on it faultlessly!, Enjoy 😉.

that is one gorgeous bike. wish i was younger as have had lots of big bikes.pans.bandit 1250,blackbird etc. now 72 and ride my tmax 530. enjoy every moment.

i watched your other first impressions of a gs1250 video and i was exactly the same as you i'd never even considered a bmw (old mans bike etc ) i currently have a 3 month old z900 on a whim i took a gs1250 adventure te out on a test ride ...wow 400 metres down the road i was sold stunning bike handling power everything is another level ...i've chopped the kwak in for a brand new gs adventure i should have next week i can't wait ..
When the 1200 was launched, the marketing boys said the engine was much better than the old oil head. When the 1250 came out the same marketing boys hyped the shift-cam. As all GS's have ditch pump engines, you enjoy this lovely ditch pump. Good on you Kate, enjoy👍

There's no going back. Once you ride a bike with bags, it just won't do without them. Especially the topcase. And especially if each holds a full face helmet.
Absolutely brilliant bike I had a that same bike in 2015 that bike does everything brilliantly loved mine ,iv now got the tripple black xr,stay save thanks for sharing 👍
Nice bike Kate unless its an April Fools Prank I didnt think that would be the bike for you, I'm not a lover of the GS although most rave about them. Thats a more older guy with a beard bike and why get rid of a street triple for that i would have kept the Triumph, Be well and ride safe though
Ah! Congratulations. I can understand the allure of an ADV but when I think of everyday riding, I lean towards something lighter. We all have our flavors and interests and that's what channels like this help us figure out. Looking forward to the new content. 🙂
I use to think the same thing as far as weight till I test rode the GSA. I didn’t want to like it because I viewed it as a middle aged man bike but my friend talked me into a free test ride… and I’ll be dammed if the “perceived weight” just disappeared once the bike reaches 3 mph and above. *on the road.
@@SpecterSeventy2 I tend to keep an open mind and probably could take to it, it just seems a little daunting right now. I also get a little anxious about my line of sight around the fairing and front forks. If it's anything more than a simple dashing head, i.e. a naked (preferably neo retro), it just "feels" cumbersome. I'm also not wild about sitting low with forward controls and foot boards on cruisers. Lol, I've got all sorts if issues. That's part of why I love these channels and other POVs. I appreciate you commenting, thanks.
seems like it would be a challenge those really tall bikes I am 5ft 7 and 32 inseam and I didn't feel confident at all with the height of the GS models I ended up with an R1250RS and love it .
