Well this is a revelation. My daughter (14yo) reluctantly got on the back of my bike about a month ago and she has fallen in love with all things bike. She’s been picking out bikes she can buy when she’s old enough and gear and planning touring trips. She wandered into the kitchen whilst this was on and stood there mouth agape watching you. I think she now realises there is a sisterhood out there for her to get involved in. 💪
Thank u for sharing this, Kate. I think while the fact that ladies are more than capable of anything should be just obvious fact to everyone, it's so good for everyone, including men to see this. Thank you, and your friends Ruby, Lily and others. Thank you all!
Great video Kate! As a guy I love seeing more girls getting into riding! As I’ve mentioned before my daughter rides and my niece is going to be doing her learners course in May!
Absolutely brilliant vlog Kate, I love the fact that there's lots of ladies getting into riding motorbikes, what a great community we have as bikers from all walks of life 🙏
Kate A motorcyclist never has enough jackets or motorcycles!! Great video and you looked FAB in all the jackets! Ride SAFE and BE safe Lady!! 🌹🙌👏👏👏👏👏👏🖖✌🤙👌👍👋🙂
I watched again to see if everyone here, was also in the triumph rocket vid. I’m in awe of you ladies. Respect. 👍🇨🇦🤪 ps I didn’t know Lily, but that’s my daughter’s name…and she was thrilled. Big fan she is.
The Revolver was my favorite, although you modeled all of them well. Thanks for sharing this. It was interesting to here some insight into how those women got started and what keeps them going. I expect to see you on that panel next year Kate!
Absolutely brilliant Kate. Heartening to see women making motorcycling their own and doing it their way. I'm not normally into the pronoun thing - but on this occasion, thanks from Dave (he / him)
It was really lovely to see you there Kate. I had an absolutely awesome weekend whizzing around with my camera, catching up briefly with old friends and making lot’s of new one’s too. I can personally recommend The Women in Motorcycling Exhibition, it’s a really well organised event with something for everyone! I hope to see you there in 2023! 😊🙏
Hey Kate, having been brought up by just my Mum, I know what strong women are capable of ... anything. Like your mates, all I ever wanted from age 5 or 6 was a very fast motorbike. Aged 53 I thought my R1 and ZX12r days were over so I sold the bike and bought a 5.2 V10 estate car for my jollies. Then BMW rocked up with their S1000R and KTM with the hooligan Superduke. I sold the then redundant nutty wagon and went back to bikes. Loving it. Triumph Rocket 3 next, unrestricted R version of course, great expo video
This was my first biking event and it was amazing to be surround by lots of likeminded female riders but also so many supportive fellas! Looking forward to next years already, hopefully see you there!!
@@UsernameKate I never got chance to 😢 a group I’m part of (Curvy Riders) had a stand so I was helping out. I did manage to talk to so many people, men and ladies, who were passionate about biking from learners to experienced… everyone was lovely! Definitely worth the journey and minor 10 mile detour 😅 (thanks sat nav)
Definitely the first jacket. As for the event, it looked like a great. It is good to see that manufacturers are starting to cater for ALL riders and not just male riders. By doing these events, really highlights the amount of female riders
"Sweet baby Jesus and the antelopes" Ha Ha Ha ... that will be stuck in my brain for ever. Such a shame it was such a crappy day weather wise. The Rocket though seemed happy to just plod along the back roads, which seemed more suited to your GS?
Jackets were great and Kate Beckinsale def a wow lady👍👍👍. Looked fun. P.s I had to get all my gear online as was height of pandemic. Lucked out everything fit except a recent mesh jacket. Am looking forward to getting to something like this where you can try stuff on..Knox stuff in a sale yes please.
Lovely to see so many younger ladies getting into biking, our passion needs more young blood, every biking event I attend seems to be 95% older men (like me) so younger riders coming is important to help the survival of biking. I wouldn't want Ruby Rides insurance bill on that (beautiful) H2. lol.
how do kate. still loving the channel over here in oz. ive got 2 cfmoto bikes over here as they so cheap here and after a month of having them i cant fault a thing. cracking bikes. keep up the great work lass :)
Man I’d love see a group of ladies to get together and try on gear. I bought 4 different rider jeans/pants for my wife and daughter that ride and they hate them. Super pricey too for them not to work and always have to order.
For having some balance issues that little bit of fancy foot work was good you built some skills in the past you’ll have to get a friendly match together amongst yourselves. Every time I try something on in front of a mirror the mirror makes me look a bit round…
I have a engine hawk hoody that they did in a limted run of blue and black coloures. I have also got a ruroc atlas helmets, version 1.0 and 2.0. The design is so discinctive and the graphic designs remind me of icon helmets. would definatly recomend the engine hawk jackets but i would wait for ruroc atlas 5.0.
Il say the 1st jacket you tried on, The second one was nice but I'm not a fan of having big block letters on the back of a jacket stating what kind it is ......just my opinion
When all the ladies sat down introducing themselves, it looked like a feminists meeting 😂. Seriously, it was great to see so many ladies with a common interest that is rarely seen, I would love to take my Mrs to one of these events. Great job, bringing this too light..
If you buy the jacket now you're going to have to buy the tiger 900 James Bond 007 except now it's going to be Kate Bond 007 license to be a killer to all men🤣😂😋🤯
And yet, still, like something out of the 1970s, bike shows continue to feature young women perched side-saddle on the latest motorcycles. Maybe less so at the NEC (I think, but could be wrong), but watching TH-cam reports from EICMA and other shows worldwide makes for cringe-worthy, awkward and, speaking as a geezer, embarrassing viewing. However, I did notice Honda brought a young woman AND a beardy dude to EICMA to perch on the new Transalp, so perhaps times are slowly changing…
Beautiful Jackets all my selection for you because you love riding so much is the Jet because it covers your Buttocks from the cold and it has a zipper on the side for air where a short jacket is more for the hot days, are they all water repellent ?
