A 2021 R1250 GS TE with a Triple Black Package, Gold spoked wheels, Heated Seating and a Passenger kit 🙌

Handing your Dad the keys to his new GS is a fantastic father-daughter moment. Years from now, you'll be glad you got it on camera.

Awesome bike! I ride a R1200RS and I'm very satisfied with it, but last week I made the mistake to do a testride on a R1250GS Triple Black, exactly the bike your father has now. What a bike and how different from the RS! You have so much more control and comfort on a GS, it is incredible. It's heavier, larger, higher and still you can throw it into a corner like a lightweight scooter... Excellent choice! I wonder if it will suit him better than the XR.

Hi Kate, nice bike, I’ve just got a new one too!! I didn’t like the brushed steel fronts or the alloy rear footpeg hangers so got all powder coated satin black, looks great . £50 all in. Better than paying for the BMW replacements, unless you give dad your commission :):):) enjoy.

Cracking machine, well done Dad, I love my R1250 GS Exc, the silver panels are quite easy to wrap, I did mine carbon look, really good, over winter there will be more blacked out including the silencer, ride safe both of you and enjoy.

It was a bike we had in stock. So pre any brexit tarriffs! I think his first choice would have been black wheels but the gold wheels grew on him 😊

Hi Kate, I’ve commented on a few of your videos and you’ve been kind enough to reply. I had a BMW S1000XR TE last year and watched this video when it first came out with great interest.
Also watch TMF quite s lot too and You’ve made me realise I should have gone GS from day one. Anyway I’ve followed your old man #usernamedad Tom Sellick of Manchester and I’m picking my New BMW R1250GS Triple black up on Friday! I’ve decided to go with the black spoked wheels rather than the Gold and I can’t wait. Hope your dad is loving his bike. I’ll be sorry to see the XR go but after test riding the GS I was hooked immediately.

Well I got that wrong😂 Time to farkle.. front crud catcher and rear mudsling plus MachineArt xheads if he doesn't want engine bars (the xheads take just a few minutes to fit and you can buy them individually if you do drop it😱) There's loads of other stuff like handguard extensions front crud catchers bike cams and auxiliary lights and horn upgrades he can do too. The BMW rad guards you suggested are actually cheaper than many of the other premium stuff as they're only plastic not metal but only take a few minutes to fit. Next up he'll be in for the 1st service with a bigger grin on his face.

@@UsernameKate been there done that😂If he's a bit tight with his money he can get the plastic bits off ebay from China for loads less money and with things like the fender extender and handguard extensions it's difficult to tell them from the premium stuff😉

Gorgeous bike but I would probably go with black wheels if that’s an option. I’m not due a change for a few years having just invested in a K1600GT Sport, but it will be interesting to see what the next iteration of the GS will be. I may well go back to one once I’ve got the K bug out of my system!
