You are precious Nick. Thank you for stopping by the 🐝. You look at the most important things, that others would completely overlook. I will never forget this video because of the thirsty bees and the light streaming through those gorgeous double paladian doors. It is "absolutely stunning ". I look forward every Saturday to your new video. Keep calm and rummage on!
🤣🤣Every time he goes into a "room", it's bigger than my whole lil house!! It's absolutely gorgeous. I love the cellars but spooky as all get out. The history of the place. Thanks. Every property you show, I want to visit the area!
Omg. That kitchen and pantry. The terrace? The bees? You haven’t made it past the first floor and I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve seen a more personally desirable property.
Hi Nick ,I just wanted to return all the phrases you use on the properties you have shown so far . YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING INSPIRATIONAL,BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE SEEN SO FAR IN PRESENTING REAL ESTATE .A ABSOLUTE DELIGHT AND MY WEEKLY HIGHLIGHT.
Nick this is truly enchanting. First of all bees in water ? I have never seen anything like that before. When you walked inside I was so impressed with the opulence yet the feeling of home and coziness. I loved it all . It truly felt like a home and not a museum . It was decorated so tastefully and you could feel family living there. When you went into the pantry it looked like you walked into a beautiful painting the way the light played in that space. You caught that too. Stunning. I really do hope you can go back I’d love to see the attic , guesthouse and more of everything you didn’t have time to show us.Thankyou Nick if you only knew how much these videos mean to us. You do such a beautiful job and your personality just makes my day. God Bless Nick have a wonderful day.💐
This is a Handsome House. Caverns and spacious attics, no less! Thank you for another lovely tour…you were thoughtful in shortening the tour , as not to impose on the Lady’s generosity. Enjoy your weekend!
Just sippin a glass of well chilled "Orvieto Classico" in the evening heat and enjoy another episode of your beautiful videos 😋🥂 ...and I'm dreamin away.....
The Duomo di Orvieto (Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta) is most spectacular. The frescoes in that Duomo are some of the most impressive and important. This church ranked next to the Vatican for me! Love the Orvieto area and you are right, so close to Rome and motorway. This property is divine!!!!!
I'm drawn to this Palazzo and repelled at the same time. I'm making a guess that this was the home originally of Giacomo Sannesio bishop of Orvieto in 1605, a great collector of art especially Caravaggio. I realize that especially in medieval times prominent families wanted their sons to be not only prominent in business but also have ties to the Catholic church. Whichever Bishop built this Palazzo was a "bachelor" and when we think of how the average paisano lived in the Middle Ages and contrast that with this house, you realize the religious fervor that had to have been present to prevent the locals from showing up at your gates with pitch forks. No wonder that the Popes had an elevated escape route to Castel Sant'Angelo in Rome. As a Christian I wonder what a humble carpenter from Galilee would have thought of such excess. Anyway even though you were pressed for time Nick, as usual your video is magnifique and I hope whoever purchases this property appreciates the beauty and historical past of this milli dollari Palazzo!
This house is a holy moment , with a hallelujah chorus thrown in !! Funny, but this place also made my socks go up and down, and by the end of the tour I lost them !! A big thank you Nick for showing this one to us and please also pass on my gratitude to the owner!!
I think this is my favorite property you’ve shared with us. Everything about it says ideal Italian living. If you can go back and take us on a ‘every nook and cranny’ tour, please do! Also, all the books! Bravo!
Okay, I have seen every tour since the beginning of this channel. This is the one! There have been many that I've liked, but that entrance just pulled me right in. Wow!
Simply spectacular ! Superlative adjectives aren't enough to describe this phenomenal property... just seeing something like this is a GIFT ! Thank You for sharing 🌟🌟🌟🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Lol, “ we are going to go outside & very possibly hug some trees” paraphrase. Amazing property Nick, it exudes history, charm and grandeur! Agreed some updates could be done but if it was me I’d move right in. Have a great week! Cheers Kirk
W.O.W. What a stunner !!!! Whoever gets that property needs to have lots of soul. I have never seen so many books & salons under 1 roof ! Nick- I think you skipped the ground floor bathroom. You were distracted by the cave. Thanks for bringing us on this tour. Outstanding property.
Nick: These are properties that "make my socks go up and down". Me: 😆 I've never heard that saying before, and I LOVE it❗️👌 💙 (I'm going to use this with my friends.🙂) The terrace...😲 🥰 I would buy for this alone❗️💙 The arches...😲 The windows...😲 The front door...😲 The den...😲 The library...😲 The pool area...😲 The theater...😲 Absolutely stunning and gorgeous property❗️👍 🥰 💙
Oh wow!! wow! Honestly, this is just stunning! from the entrance hall to the kitchen and then...the 16 century cellar!! wow Nick!! Can I say any more ...wow's? Shame we couldn't see it all as you normally do, but no worries, I think we get the point...wow!
Thank You for an interestingly stunning walk around such an historic home. I love, love, love nooks, crannies and hand carved staircases. Chandeliers 😍 Especially Basements, Attics. Secret corridors, quirky, quirky, quirky! etc..loved it. Thank you for brightening up a very sad week 💔🐕💔🌧. Have a great week Nick. ☀️☕️🍷☕️🍷
So many others have said, Wow! And I can only echo those sentiments. I'm totally overwhelmed by the space and my practical side is looking for a cleaner! Thank you so much for braving the traffic yet still bringing your enthusisam to the tour. The guest house looks to be as big as some of the homes you have shown us...everything here is huge and sprawling. Its magnificent. Truly, one in a (3) million!
OMG NICK !!!!! I love this beautiful house ! And those paintings 😍 I would love to rummage around that wine cellar🍷 You did it again! You never disappoint it was a fabulous showing Nick ! Thank You again 💜
The palazzo is marvelous! The stonework inside and out is mind-boggling. Favorite features the floors, doors, widows and the shutters, that terrace. Favorite spaces all of the rooms with fireplaces they are EVERYTHING! The pool is very inviting. What a treasure of a home and the surrounding landscapes. Thanks, Nick, for the tour, it was sensational!
Thankyou so much for this stunning Orvieto tour! What an effort you put in so appreciated all the details the most stunning floors, windows and stone work I've ever seen. Even braving the dark entrance to the 16C wine cellar!! I absolutely love your tours Nick.
Oh my, this was as you said, stunning, the history of this house is just awesome. So much space to decorate to your personal taste & leaving the antique architecture in place. Thanks again Nick, for an outstanding property tour have a great week end, it’s hot in AR too. Most of this week been 98 degrees, stay cool & have a great week.
My oh my. I am in love. Yes a few updates are needed but the house of just fabulous. The antiques certainly compliment each room. Hopefully the person that purchases this home will continue to love it as much as the current owners and keep it mostly as is.
Absolutely fabulous property!! And with it having so much original elements makes is even more amazing!! And Nick, you didn’t need to turn on the lights because the shots were gorgeous with the natural light streaming in. It was cinematic !! Another amazing property. Hope you do get a chance to go back because I know you felt rushed. 😁👍👍
Wouldn’t touch a thing. I don’t think it needs updating at all. The charm is the way it is now. The bathrooms are wonderful the way they are. I don’t understand what this nonsense is about needing bathrooms everywhere. Nick, you are right when you say it is charming; it should kept that way. I get the feeling that you would keep it as it is. Thank you for all your wonderful tours! I also love your attention to detail and your appreciation for all things old, original and sensitively done. Excellent camera work.
Yes really stunning indeed Nick. I loved the front entrance with the balcony.. Loved the golden image I get when looking at the terracotta walls of the property. That wine cellar is amazing. I do love 'olde worlde' properties the best. Thanks so much for sharing Nick.
Gorgeous, Stunning, Awesome. This is masive. You could desappear two days from the view of your wife in it. Plenty of history, this property is unic. The kitchen is amaizing. All the living rooms and bedrooms are so cute. The bathroom of the master bedroom is the most beautiful that you show, so far. The wine cellar is fantastic. The pool and the garden are fenomenal. And what a view !!!! . The price is perfect. Thank you, thank you Nick. I look forward for the rest of the property. Excelent job
Wow, wow, wow. This property is truly spectacular. Loved the wine cellar. That house would be great for a live game of Clue. All the passages, rooms, and those fantastic doors. Out of my price range but how I wish it wasn't. Thank you Nick for the tour and, as always, the history lessons. I can hardly wait for you every week.
Buying History... As Christopher Walken might say: "Wowie... Wow, Wow, Wow". An extraordinary property that can be preserved for the ages. Loved the bees drinking water as well! With Gratitude!
Hello Nick...... O.M.GOSH!!!! This stunning home is "NEVERENDING!!!" HAHAHAHAHA!!!! The wine cellar is crazy spectacular!!! I would get lost in a humongous home like that. And to furnish all the rooms will be very spendy alone. And then to find out there's a guesthouse that looks humongous. I wonder how much their electric bill is. Gorgeous terrace!!! And the pool looks well updated. Great job Nick....... I feel for ya...... out there in 91degrees F. And not being able to jump in the pool. It was 99 degrees F. here. I did not go out very much today..... way too hot.
Beautiful Orvieto. The great escape from the summer heat of Rome and Firenze. Toured some of the underground and it was fascinating. The details of the Cathedral are a testament to the skills and dedication of the artists that crafted it. My childrens String Ensemble (Mountain Top Strings of California) performed at services there and Fr. Don Marco was most hospitable.
Love the shot of the honey bees drinking! Former beekeeper. Good for you, Nick. Thanks for showing off the girls. Adore the pantry, perfect for keeping a big domicile organized. The terrace is astonishing. True grandeur. What a foundation! This building would make a marvelous private educational space. So many books and reading areas, conversational spaces. Stately is the perfect word. I'm a big fan of 'eggshell' speckled stone. Lovely to see that.
Absolutely stunning and what you say about Orvieto is so true; many the time I've gone North South and took the A1 in part to see it. And of course it's excellent value for money, surely a property that will sell and appreciate in value.
Exceptional property Nick.....the surrounding land was splendid & inviting! The house itself had my mind racing with possibilities.....this would be an extraordinary investment! Would have loved to see the guest house....will need to watch this again to take it all in!
OMG! What a house! And the history - amazing! Such a glorious place, Nick. Definitely, my first choice if I win the Euro Lottery next week! Thanks so much for filming these fabulous houses. Such a wonderful way for us to see them - and you! xx
OMG! Yes, stunning - and all the ags of history are coming out of every pore of that property. And this vast amount of books everywhere in the bilding; phenomenal. But they are slowly extincting, unfortunately... And these cellars in the Tuffstone benetah the house - unbelievable. But extremely common around the city. OT: Orvieto is must-see when in that region. Not only the Cathedral, but also the entire historical city around is woth visting. And: don't ever miss an undergraound tour when visting Orvieto. Thanks so much and have a nice weekend, Nick. Greetings from DE J.
When you said it was made for the bishop of the cathedral, I thought “ I could work with that”.... we’ve not even got inside and I’m already in love... on another note I am assume that for anyone abroad purchasing you fitted up with all the amendments that would need be taken care of? Nick , without a doubt you al-ways do a spectacular and passion presentation on all you property uploads. Much appreciation from all your viewers.
Absolutely love and adore Orvieto. I live in Seattle Washington and have rented a house just east of there for a few months and several times I have come and rented an apartment in the heart of Orvieto for a month at a time. Amazing Duomo, beautiful town, great shops and restaurants. It just has it all and this Palazzo is stunningly amazing!
I'm with Sharon, glad to see it hasn't been changed too much, as it would have spoilt it. Also, don't worry about the lighting, the ambient light was just fine, and also gives a good idea of the actual view inside. The right impression, as large rooms with small windows are likely to be darker. It should be borne in mind that there was a reason for the windows being small, other than the technical issues for the time it was built.
I think I just got used to the stone arches and terracotta and beam ceilings .... And I think I like it better then all white . At some lower and darker rooms it's nice if the tiles are painted in a lighter color . Thank you Nick , I will follow and contact you when I'm rich !
Love the outside look, the land, the views, the extra guest house etc. I know this is historic because it contains so many original furnishings etc, but for me those are not attractive when they are all together as tho the place were still in it's original situation. I love antiques as stand alone pieces so you can appreciate them for their design, but I find too many in one place simply clogs the brain with 'stuff'. Altho yes I know that's how they tended to be in their time. A great house for someone who either likes it as is, or can see how great it could be if given some flair & reorganization. Thank you for a great video.
Beautiful home Nick; I love the wine cellar cave, which gave the home character. The rooms are enormous and species, but as you said, some updates are needed. More bathrooms connected to the bedrooms would be one upgrade necessary. Love the stonework on the guest house and the grounds around it. Once again, you find some of the most impressive properties to tour and offer to your international community of viewers. Thank you very much for this beautiful tour.
Nick, please don't get me wrong, I love your property tours and cannot wait until I get my lottery win when I will be in touch, but...I am sorry to say this latest property left me completely cold. My wife was badly stung by bees, so looking at the little beggers sharpening their stingers was a big turn-off. The cellars were a no-no for me, scary. It needs a lot of work too, but the outside was spectacular. On to the next one!!!
Ciao Nick, a property in Orvieto at last!!! Welcome to the best part of Umbria 😉
🙏 N.

" Makes my socks go up and down"😂🤣💖. And, I was willing you to say ' utterly charming' which it absolutely is Nick. Thank you for sharing.
This is a stunning property, I hope whomever buys it does not greatly alter the old charm of it
Hi Nick ,I just wanted to return all the phrases you use on the properties you have shown so far .

Also, Nick. I didn’t stop in Orvieto but I did ride the fast train to Florence. That train will make you throw rocks at airplanes. Amazing!!!!
Not much I can say other than “WOW!”

Thank you Jina. We have to look after our bees. Have a great weekend. 🙏 Nick.

@@italianproperty Thanks Nick. Its been a tough week. ❤️🇦🇺🦘
No…. Don’t update, leave it exactly like it is. I can’t think of the right words to describe this beautiful Italian property.
Lived in, warm.
Timeless elegance as opposed to nouveau riche perhaps?
So many others have said, Wow! And I can only echo those sentiments. I'm totally overwhelmed by the space and my practical side is looking for a cleaner! Thank you so much for braving the traffic yet still bringing your enthusisam to the tour. The guest house looks to be as big as some of the homes you have shown us...everything here is huge and sprawling. Its magnificent. Truly, one in a (3) million!

Thanks for the tour. 👍👍💕😊

Thank J for your comment. Have a great week. Best wishes, Nick.
Magnificent.
❤️ Thank you so much. Best wishes, Nick 🙏
Lovely comment Denise. Thank you. 😊 Nick.
Stunning
You started to whisper as you went underground 😳. The terrace was my favourite part of the house. I loved that there were so many books.
😊 🙏 Nick.
Thanks Simon. 🙏 Nick.
Basement Caves!!!!!!!! Best thing ever! Exceptional.
I think I just got used to the stone arches and terracotta and beam ceilings ....
And I think I like it better then all white .
At some lower and darker rooms it's nice if the tiles are painted in a lighter color .
Thank you Nick ,
I will follow and contact you when I'm rich !
I like your comment Petra. Best wishes, Nick.
Thank you Veronica, I enjoyed reading you point of view. Best wishes, Nick.
Thank you so much Lloyd. Best wishes, Nick.
I spent a summer vacation with friends in Rome for a weekend then off to Orvieto for a couple of weeks.
Just stunning!!! That wine cellar!!! Unbelievable!!! I would live down there!!!
Sorry to hear this. I'm allergic to wasps. Best wishes, Nick.
That terrace. Simply stunning. Juliet would feel at home on the balcony over the front door.
This is incredible! Please show the rest if you can. Please be careful in that heat too.
Thank you, I will. Best wishes, Nick.
LOVE IT.....!!!!
