How To Make Standby 12v Battery Charger Easily

  • In this video, we are going to show you making a 12v Battery charger ar home easily. If you have more than 12v adapter, and you want to charge your 12v battery, you can charge your battery easily.
    To make this circuit at home, you might need some electronics component. Component list have to been given below.
    Component List :
    1.Transistor - Tip 41 C
    2. Resistor - 270 ohm ( 1 Watt)
    1 k ohm
    3.Rectifier Diode - 1N4007
    4. Power Indicator Led
    5. Zener Diode - 12v ( 1 Watt)
    6. Power Source - More Than DC 12v
    7. Soldering Iron
    8. Connection Wire

    Just buy cheap step-up or step-down (depending on your dc power supply)converter with CC ad CV features.
    Set the voltage on CV about 14v. Set the maximum charging current on CC potentiometer.

    Sir the connections description is in red colour and font is also very small so difficult to clearly understand. Cct. Diagram if given it wd be better

      you can use voltage regulating IC. as like 7812
      or you also can use 12 volt zener diode

    amazing, but one question.. / which component reduces 25volt DC to 12volt DC between Collector leg and Emitter leg of Transistor..?? just couldn't make it clear for me ((((

      This circuit is a very simple voltage stabiliser. The reduction of the voltage happens within the regulating transistor and this wasted energy is transformed in heat. This circuit, if used exactly as shown for charging a battery, will burn out within minutes because: a) there is no current limit b) the output diode is rated at 1A maximum, as I guess, and will be blown first c) the transistor will be toasted without a huge heat sink it needs and nevertheless is free...In other words, the purpose of this video is just making some money on the part of the person who uploaded it. It cannot be considered as a charger under no circumstances...

    You said negative leg of rectifier diode to emitter but you connected the positive leg to emitter

      you can input in this circuit highest DC 25 volt
      and this circuit output highest 13 volt...
      you can charge 12 volt battery...

It would be much more honest of you if you just stopped copying and then publishing circuits about which you don't have any idea for their function and present them as your designs. Apart from that, trying to teach something you don't know (your answers prove that) it is both annoying (for those who know the answers) and dangerous (for your viewers who put these questions, being obviously newcomers in electronics who expect a honest and responsible answer from you). First we aim at the target (get the knowledge) and then shoot it (teach). Not vice versa whatsoever...
